
The omnipresence of God means that God, Himself, is present everywhere all the time. There is no place, where God is not.

The scriptures speak of God as holy in the highest degree. He is holy, holy, holy. This study will look at what it means to God is holy, a traumatic response to His holiness, and our need for sheer grace.

The goodness of God is what moved God to save us. The goodness of God drives our worship and thanksgiving.

From the time of the early church and the church fathers, one of the primary tests of orthodoxy was the biblical teaching that there is one God who exists in three distinct, co-equal, co-eternal Persons. This has always been considered a non-negotiable doctrine to hold to.

The aseity of God means God is Eternal. He always has been, and always will be. It means God is self-existent. He exists on His own. Nothing or nobody ever has, or will, help Him to exist. God created everything but no one created God.

The coming of Jesus Christ was in fulfillment of the promises made to Abraham and David. He is the offspring of Abraham through Whom all the nations will be blessed. He is the Branch of David, would will reign eternally with wisdom and with justice.

God has an unbreakable law - the wicked will fail and the righteous will prevail.

The power of this chapter is in the first sentence: “Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, while the king was sitting on his royal throne.”

Mordecai and Esther give us a sketch for Christian courage.

Esther 3 shows us how completely hopeless the situation was for the Jews. And that is to highlight how amazing God's deliverance for them will be later in the story.

The world we live in is messy. Very messy. It has been that way since the fall in the garden of Eden. But God is at work in a messy world to accomplish His will. God draws straight lines with crooked sticks.

God's plan is set in motion for the future deliverance of the Jews. God had a plan for your problem even before you had you problem.

In Ruth 3, Naomi hatches a plan to get a husband for Ruth. But not just any man. She specifically wants a kinsman redeemer, a man who will provide rest and security for Ruth and also provide a way for her family line to be continued. Boaz is an obvious type of Christ, our kinsman Redeemer, who was made like us in every way in order to make a full payment to bring us back to God.

Ruth 1 shows the mysterious ways of God in the darkest times to bring about good for His people.

Psalm 24 is a psalm about the ascension of Jesus Christ. After affirming the absolute sovereignty of God as Creator of everyone and everything he asks two important questions: Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And, Who is the King of glory who enters heaven as a Conqueror? The answer to both questions is Jesus Christ the God man and ascended King. This is good news for us!

The way of true blessedness, true happiness is found in wholeheartedly pursuing to know, believe, and walk in the ways of God's word.

Psalm 18 is David's song of deliverance from his enemies. Our God is a God who rescues, foremost His great rescue mission for all the nations through Jesus Christ.

With the Lord is forgiveness that He may be feared.

Jesus Christ is rich in compassion toward his people who suffer grief and sorrow. And he binds up our wounds.

The Christian is the most blessed person in the world, because every spiritual blessing has been bestowed upon us by the Father in Christ.

Jesus Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead.

While the church awaits the blessed hope, the return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, we should expect the Kingdom and gospel of Jesus Christ to triumph.

Because Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, Christians are people of hope. This hope is birthed by God's mercy, looks to a glorious future, strengthened by trials, and fueled by fellowship with the risen Christ.

The cross stands gets at the very center of biblical revelation. The final cry of Jesus on the cross in John's gospel "It is finished!" is the greatest cry of victory the world has ever known.

John the Baptist came as a forerunner to announce the Kingdom of Heaven and call for repentance in preparation for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The new covenant promised through Jesus Christ brings an inward renewal through the Holy Spirit whereby the law is written within. God pledges himself to his people, we are given a saving knowledge of the LORD and our sins are remembered no more.

In response to the disciples' request that Jesus teach them to pray, Jesus does just that. He teaches that His disciples ought to pray with persistence, fervency, and expectation that the Father will generously give the Holy Spirit, who comes fully loaded with all the spiritual and practical blessings Christians need.

Seven hundred before the Son of God came in the flesh, the prophet Isaiah prophesied about the Servant of the Lord who would be exalted and triumph, bringing salvation to the nations through suffering. This amazing prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ was fulfilled and is being fulfilled as the gospel continues to go to the nations of the world.

But David was totally unique and the most important king. The Lord said, I have selected David as “a king for Myself”, “a man after My own heart”. Samuel anointed David, about a thousand years before Christ was born. It's one of the most important events in the Bible.
