I have known Marie Dion for years, but never heard the whole story. Her book is the telling of her walkabout as her connection to her native ancestors unfolded. In Journey of a Red Soul, Marie traces her path of discovery, courageously standing in her Native roots, to share lessons learned in multiple previous Native lifetimes. She deftly communicates her insight into the path of healing from racism of all forms, believing we experience diverse lifetimes as the other gender, the other race, and, karmically, any form we consider separate or different from ourselves.
I have heard amazing things about Quantum Touch healing. A close friend of mine is a trained Quantum Touch practitioner. Tonight I will interview the creator and founder of this method Richard Gordon.
A lifelong explorer of shamanic, animist, and meditative consciousness, Meg Beeler traveled the world in search of traditional and shamanic wisdom. Each of us has a vision for our lives, our soul's purpose awaiting release in our hearts. The most important task we have is to learn what that purpose is and then bring it into the world. In our world of endless busyness and “hurry sickness,” many people are experiencing soul loss as they live out dreams of endless motion, empty tasks, anxiety, and negative thoughts. But you can change your world and discover the shamanic heart path that activates your wildness, your power, and your soul's purpose. Blending earth-honoring shamanic practices and modern depth psychology, Jeff Nixa explains how to practice the lost art of heart navigation to help you find your life purpose and spiritual identity, conquer the fear, doubt and criticism that stand in the way of that vision, and become a shamanic shapeshifter of your life.

Laughing Crow is a long time friend and friend of the show, who has been on many times talking about their childhood, their work and shamanism. They have, among other things, founded the American Shamanism Movement. Today they will help us understand something very personal about them. They are Intersex. That is, biologically, both sexes. How does that affect their life and their work? I am honored that they have chosen to share this with us on the show.
Pow Wow Medicine, the Root Medicine and Conjuring of the Pennsylvania Dutch, is a combination of Eastern European folk Christianity and superstition, ceremonial magic, Cabbalistic influence, Judeo-Christian folklore. And depending on what part of the Appalachian Trail you are from it may also include, shamanic practices, Native teachings and Hoodoo practices derived from the beliefs of Africans brought to the U.S. during the time of slavery. The word Pow Wow is early 17th century: from Narragansett powáw ‘magician' (literally ‘he dreams') The proper name is Speilwork or Braucherei. Adepts are called Braucher, Hexenmeisters, or just Hexens. It is Norse/Teutonic Pagan Folk Medicine. This calls upon the Old Germanic God's for healing. This is the Folk Medicine that Pow Wow Medicine is derived from. I am looking forward to talking about traditions I have not heard about before and how they are similar and related to other traditions I have learned from.
The American Shamanism Movement was formed recognizing that the need for a form of practice which put people directly in contact with the spiritual world that was specific to the needs of people in Pittsburgh, PA, and for Americans in a larger context. The movement offers four years of training in shamanic work, three of which are in its unique tradition. The new textbook is the information for the first year of training called “An Introduction to Shamanic Practice,” which is designed to be everything a person not wanting to be a community practitioner needs to know to have a more shamanic, animistic, or spiritual life for them and their families. It provides an overview of traditions and practices from around the world with the intent of helping a person who wants to take the practices more seriously in finding the tradition that suits them best.

Belinda J. Womack is a spiritual counselor, teacher, and author of 'Lessons from the 12 Archangels: Divine Intervention in Daily Life.' A scientist by training, with dual master's degrees in microbiology and environmental science (Indiana University), Belinda was called into service by the 12 Archangels while working in a medical university lab as she was doing a stem cell experiment. For nearly 25 years since that meeting, Belinda has had an active spiritual counseling practice, working with the 12 Archangels, to support individuals, couples and families with seemingly impossible problems to solve. I love hearing the adventure of people in science getting called into spiritual work. And, I, too have a connection to the Archangels... who insist that I call them 'The Boys.'

We will talk to someone who has been trying to sort that out and just wrote a book about them. Susan Collins, is an internationally acclaimed dowsing teacher, Keynote Speaker, and workshop leader and author. She uses traditional dowsing tools as well as the power of heart and thought to detect and transform non-beneficial Earth, Environmental, Psychic and Other energy patterns.
