Ken Dashow and Producer Andrew discuss the ups, downs and cloaked references on Paul McCartney's reflective new album, 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane.' His first album in years, McCartney has filled the record with references to his youth, his family and his greatest friends. At almost 84, it's hard to interpret Macca's nostalgic turn as anything but an attempt to tie up some of the hanging threads of his life and leave a lasting 'thank you' to everything he's loved about his life. Tonight on TV Party Tonight, we're reviewing Season 5 of The Boys, the fifth and final chapter of Eric Kripke's satirical superhero saga based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the season brings back Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Karen Fukuhara, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, and the rest of the core cast, with Daveed Diggs joining the ensemble. As Homelander tightens his grip on America and seeks the original Compound V formula that could make him effectively immortal, Billy Butcher and The Boys unite for one final mission, armed with a virus capable of wiping out every Supe on Earth. Premiering on Prime Video in April 2026 and concluding in May, the season earned generally favorable reviews for its action, performances, social commentary, humor, and emotional payoff, though some critics cited pacing issues and a lack of focus. Tonight, we'll see if the finale sticks the landing.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59
What do a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect and a shadowy Armenian tycoon from Los Angeles have in common? More than you'd think. Together, they defrauded the American government out of nearly one billion dollars. "Kingdom of Fraud," a brand new series co-produced by Novel and iHeartPodcasts, has launched.Over seven episodes, Emmy-nominated journalist, investigative reporter and host Michele McPhee traces the extraordinary and unlikely criminal partnership between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan, a reputed Armenian crime figure known to those around him as "The Lion." Together, they built a billion dollar fraud conspiracy out of a biofuel subsidy program, and triggered the largest tax investigation in American history.McPhee travels from Salt Lake City and its outskirts where Mormon fundamentalist groups laid roots, to gritty neighborhoods in Los Angeles and beyond to understand how Jacob Kingston, one of his father's more than 100 children and a man desperate to prove his worth to his powerful polygamist clan, The Order, ended up in business with one of LA's most feared operators. And how, once their scheme started generating tens of millions of dollars, they needed to find somewhere far from Utah to hide it all.But this story isn't just about two men and their money. Around Jacob and Levon sits a web of dirty cops, political connections and transnational money launderers that reaches further than the federal agents investigating the case could have imagined.Jacob Kingston was put under unimaginable pressure as law enforcement started circling, but Levon assured him that a shadowy network known only as 'The Boys" - paid badges from the highest levels of federal law enforcement who sold their access to the highest bidder would spring into action to keep the cops at bay.Was Jacob right to put his life in The Lion's hands, or will their billion dollar biofuel empire go up in smoke?"Kingdom of Fraud" is a story about what happens when the most unlikely of alliances is corroded by greed and selfishness - a story of rampant corruption in which every American citizen was a victim.Episodes available here:https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-kingdom-of-fraud-329335210 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.

Welp. Here we are. The show with the endlessly cynical take on superheroes has finally come to a close, and Ebube and Oseghale have thoughts. Let's make one thing clear, everyone got what they deserved. Well... Almost everyone. The guys try to make sense of the show's final chapter and address the internet's thoughts on what will go down as one of the most divisive series finales in pop culture. As they figure out if the show truly stuck its landing, they get into the potential hubris of cinematic universes (8:23); Antony Starr's career-defining performance (18:26); Butcher's alternate future (32:02); the current media literacy crisis (42:06), and of course narrative responsibility and the GenV-shaped hole in the plot. The end was entertaining, but undeniably diabolical. You can support us here. Also available on YouTube.Host: Ebube UbochiGuest: OseghaleProduction by: Ebube Ubochi

THE TRUTH IS NOW CONTROVERSIAL — And That Should Terrify You 26-78 We live in a time where outrage is entertainment, misinformation spreads faster than facts, and absurdity is rewarded with clicks, followers and fame. But tell the truth? That's where the real danger begins. In this episode of The Karel Show, Karel explores why honesty has become the most controversial thing in modern life. Why are people punished for uncomfortable truths while lies thrive online? Why has truth become something people fear instead of value? From social media algorithms to modern politics, outrage culture to entertainment, we've built a world where being loud matters more than being right. And when someone dares to say what's real, they risk censorship, backlash and isolation. Plus, Karel reacts to the controversy surrounding The Boys and the reaction after commenting on the fate of the show's bi character — and why representation in film and television still comes with consequences. Why Are Conservatives SO Triggered By Pride Flags? | Trump, FIFA & The Culture War Explained Pride Month is here, and once again the culture war is raging over one thing: the rainbow flag. Iran wants FIFA to ban Pride flags, Trump allies want them removed from public spaces, and cities across America are fighting over Pride displays and even rainbow sidewalks. But why does a symbol of inclusion make so many people so angry? Today on The Karel Show, Karel breaks down the real reason Pride flags trigger certain conservatives, the politics behind the outrage, and why LGBTQ visibility still scares so many in 2026. Plus: * Trump prepares for a very different showdown with China's leader Xi Jinping — and this isn't Putin. * FDA turmoil erupts as Marty Makary reportedly clashes with Trump-world over flavored vape policies. * Why vaping is far more dangerous than people admit. * And on The Boys, Sister Sage proves a painful truth liberals often forget: intelligence without strategy can still lose. The culture wars aren't slowing down — they're escalating. This week, our Dumpster Fire corner is the perfect lead-in for our main topic. The headlines are somehow both horrifying and absurd: another Trump assassination attempt, a sudden call for “unity” that had the media doing emotional gymnastics, and yes, plans to slap his face into your passport. Meanwhile, global tensions simmer, but priorities remain… questionable. Then Laura and Eric dive into The Boys Season 5 and why it's hitting way too close to home. What started as a hyper-violent superhero satire now feels less like escapism and more like a slightly exaggerated documentary. From corporate control and influencer politics to nationalism wrapped in religion and monetized outrage, we break down how the show mirrors real-world power structures (and why that's getting harder to laugh off.) We also get into the cultural whiplash of audiences realizing Homelander isn't the hero (shocking, apparently), the rise of media manipulation that feels ripped straight from Vought's playbook, and why this kind of storytelling resonates so deeply right now. When reality starts sounding like satire, what does that say about where we're at? If you love 'The Boys,' we've got recommended shows you should watch next! 'Generation V' ('The Boys' spinoff series on Amazon Prime) (Laura) and 'Alphas' on the Roku Channel (Eric). And in this week's installment of After Dark... you thought you weren't getting any Pam this week, but SURPRISE! She joins us for an impromptu installment of our post-show banter where we compare notes on plant life (a category that goes verrrrrry broad with content that can only live behind the paywall.

This week on Millennial, we're back with pretend adulting and very real chaos. In the Dumpster Fire Corner, it's TACO Tuesday as Trump abruptly pumps the brakes on escalating tensions with Iran—while simultaneously making things more confusing, volatile, and… profitable? We unpack the ever-shifting status of the Strait of Hormuz (open? closed? vibes-based?), reports of internal panic over Trump's unpredictability, and why some officials allegedly don't trust him in the Situation Room. Then, we shift gears into our main discussion inspired by new Pew Research: what do Americans consider immoral? From the death penalty to gambling to divorce, we explore where people draw the line—and why those lines aren't as clear-cut as some perceive them to be. We reflect on how our own views have evolved, whether morality is subjective, and what it even means to judge someone else's choices. And of course, the Pen Pals bring the heat with takes ranging from systemic injustice to iced coffee crimes against humanity. It's a conversation full of nuance, contradictions, and a reminder that growing up might just mean getting more comfortable living in the gray. Stick around for recommendations ('The Boys' on Amazon Prime and TravelPro luggage) and head over to Patreon to tune into this week's installment of After Dark. This week, Laura and Pam spill a little tea tied to their recent travels behind the paywall.
