Austin is a former College and Professional Baseball Player for the WolfPack of UNR and the Arizona Diamondbacks, respectively. He is the Founder and CEO of MAJOR LEAGUE UNIVERSITY, whose overall mission is to educate and empower athletes through the mental side of the game. Our conversation revolves mostly around the mental aspect of sports, mainly around the issue of how it is stressed as important to a lot of young athletes, and what he is trying to do at MLU to change that. Cap is currently the Manager of the Ogden Raptors, the Advanced Rookie Ball representative of the Dodgers in the Pioneer League. We do some quick catching up, but the bulk of our conversation revolves around hitting. We discuss hitting vs. swinging, and how the Dodgers Organization are using data to improve players throughout their system. Connor Fields is an Olympic GOLD Medal Winner in BMX Racing. Xavier is a Professional Baseball Player who has spent time in the show with the St. Louis Cardinals as well as the Miami Marlins. He also spent 2 years playing for the Dinos in the Korean Baseball Organization as well as the Leones De Yucatan down in Mexico last year. X is currently a free agent and we discuss what he is doing to get himself back into Pro Ball back in the States. He was drafted in 2008 after his Junior year at UNLV, and spent 7 years in the Minors before making his Big League Debut. It has been a few years since X and I have talked but we really had a great conversation about the struggles of the grind in the Minors, including the mental side of things. Donn Roach is a Professional Baseball player who is preparing to go off for his first season playing in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Donn is from Gorman, just like every other person on the podcast, and was drafted out of CSN in 2010 by the Angels. Our great friend Nick Kingham was able to step in for us on National Championship Monday and save the day. In a special episode recorded in the afternoon just before kickoff, Nick joins us to talk about his past journey in baseball, as well as what lies ahead. Nick has spent time in the show with the Pittsburgh Pirates who drafted him with the 117th pick in the 2010 draft, as well as the Toronto Blue Jays for a short period at the end of last season. So far in his time in the big leagues Nick has made 43 Appearances, with a 9-9 record and 115 k's over 131 innings pitched.
