That trade deadline was something. Ok, let's be honest...Felipe not being traded was a good thing. The only moves being Lyles and Dickerson was a bit shocking. How does NS9 feel about them? Let's just say DiNardo goes on a rant. It may or may not include international money.Don't let people give you false information on Nick Kingham.Jung Ho DFA'd. Don't let people give you false information that it was just about money. Erik Gonzalez and Pablo Reyes were the corresponding moves. Ryan is a bit triggered that Kevin Kramer is still sitting in Indy.Make sure to come to the next Live Podcast on 8/24!Check us out on Twitch:www.twitch.tv/northshorenineCheck out our Patreon:www.patreon.com/northshorenine

With certain members of the podcast on the mend, it's time to complete that doubleheader!A.J. Andrews begins with a discussion of Bo Bichette's interview with Sportsnet's David Singh, and the perception that this delay will anger the shortstop enough to leave as soon as he can. This is silly, and A.J. explains why, as well as assures Bo that his time is coming. A spot just needs to open. The second half is focused on Thomas Pannone's journey to get back to the major leagues, but while the shine is already off his performance, A.J. is more incredulous that Nick Kingham was DFA'd in order to make room for Pannone. With other more palatable options to send packing (Hi Derek Law!), the host expresses her displeasure at the overthrow of the Sultan of Salami.Follow the podcast on Twitter @LockedOnJays and follow the host @NeoAC18!Subscribe on Himalaya, Google Play, Spotify, and iTunes! This episode is sponsored by Jays From the Couch and Postmates. The more things change, the more they stay the same on a new episode of the podcast!Host A.J. Andrews begins by offering her sincere thanks to all the fans and Blue Jays dignitaries and everyone who offered their support following the Episode 200 announcement. Seriously, it means a lot. There were tears. But there is work to be done, and A.J. launches into another rant about Marcus Stroman's treatment by the front office. This has been a difficult season, but the host sees no reason that he shouldn't have been signed to an extension already, and the trade rumors are silly. The second half sees A.J. take her best shot at trying to predict what the Jays will do now that Edwin Jackson is on the IL instead of throwing batting practice. Who else are they going to get? The Pittsburgh Pirates season is over and the championship series is still going on. No moves to bolster the 2019 Pirates can be made, so it’s time to review some prospects for the next few weeks. Today we are going to review Nick Kingham as he has graduated from the prospect realm of baseball. Did he do enough in 2018 to earn a spot on the 2019 Opening Day roster? He is out of minor league options so Neal Huntington will have to make some tough decisions. Make sure to give our hosts a follow on Instagram Jared - @pirates.strong Benson - @bucsdugout
