Podcast by Andrew Nygard
Did someone say 5 years?! This year marks a half decade with the Weasel and the Snake. We're back and better than ever. First we actually delve into some dynasty league talk, before talking about rookies to watch and a look ahead to our draft next week. Marquee question of the week: who will the Bears' #1 WR be at the end of this year?
The theme song for our podcast. YOU DON'T GET IT. Song Writer attributed to "Crazy Frog"
The playoffs are almost here, the season and the league has been turned upside down by 4 trades. See who's moving places, and what players will prove to be difference makers down the stretch. Will the Weasel and Snake each make playoffs?
We're creeping towards the playoffs this week on the WS podcast. In a week with no tik tok dances but a lot on the line for teams up and down the standings, check out what players are hitting their stride, and which players are definitely on the trade block. It's a quiet week, which usually means something big is coming up.
The Weasel and the Snake are back for a special edition of the pod: the rankings pod. As we near the halfway point, we thought we'd take a look at what teams and players are trending upwards or haven't been performing. Also, there's a conversation about dropping yet ANOTHER bench spot.
Injury and bye season is upon us. The Weasel and Snake are here talking about injuries and how it effects the fantasy landscape, the beginning of bye weeks and what teams have been affected by their terrible depth, and we continue our discussion on the running back position as a whole this year. There's WS malice from the jump this pod, enjoy kids.
Two weeks two Tik Tok dances later, the WS is back. We talk about the state of the running back position and its fantasy trade value, what we make of the Dolphins absolute annihilating of the Broncos, and the best/worst teams award. Bye weeks are around the corner, and the Weasel Snake is rolling forward.
We've sipped, smoked, and week 1'd. The Weasel and Snake are officially back. See who won the first WS bowl of the year, catch up and what teams are looking like, and see who's out there on a juicy week 1 waiver wire. It's good to be back.
The Sip and Smoke is on the horizon, as the Weasel and Snake have our annual preseason visit from the Commish. We run through some post season topics, including the near-losing of a league member, before hashing out some rule changes. We finish up with some gambling takes, and the Weasel ends the pod saying the 3rd pick in the first round holds the same value as the 11th pick in the first round. Help yourself to a generous helping of Weasel Snake to hold you over until your fantasy draft.
Season 4 is upon us. How many of you are listening? We don't know or care, we're just back here to give you some of the most absurd fantasy coverage you hear. Tap in to see where the league left off, some draft strategy, and some keeper talk on top of the typical weasel snake banter you've come to love (or hate). We're geared up for another year of fantasy, glad to have you.
Happy thanksgiving from the Weasel and Snake. The Weasel still sits atop the League and the Snake sits in a group of 10 teams within 3 games of each other with playoffs. We end off the pod with another edition of “Would You Rather Have”, weigh in on it in the chat. Happy Holidays kids.
First no (or almost no) malice Pod in weeks. The Weasel and Snake break down a week where the undefeated streak was broken, some teams stocks rose, and others plummeted (Bodie). Playoffs are looming, and so is some more malice we're sure.
If you want to hear two dudes bicker for 40 minutes then this is the pod for you. After some heated discussion about Hamstring injuries and what makes a fantasy team the best, the Weasel and Snake eventually do chat about some fantasy. Both sitting at the top of the league, the duo talks about a point in the season where there are 7 teams tied at 4-5 with some on some pretty promising trajectories and others that have massive question marks moving forward. Check out some playful light not aggressive at all banter as well as some pretty ill informed fantasy analysis on this weeks episode of the Weasel Snake Podcast
After a month of being off schedule we're BACK. The Weasel and Snake return after week 8 to chat Fantasy. The Weasel is somehow still undefeated with a 3 game lead over the second place Snake. There's another classic Weasel-Snake debate over Rhamondre v Najee, need some weigh in from the peanut galley! Onto next week.
For the second week in a row, the pod is late. For the sixth week in a row, the Weasel is undefeated. Honestly it's all a blur, this pod we talk about the 3 trades made by the Weasel and how it's affected the league. We'll try to lock in for next week, enjoy the banter.
Well this one is a little late but spoiler alert the Weasel is still undefeated, with a Snake, a Mongoose, and a Gopher on his tail. We talk through matchups and 3 massive trades that happened between weeks 5 and 6. Use this pod as a little palette cleanser for this coming weeks pod, big week ahead.
The first blockbuster trade of the year has happened, and it's a Weasel and Snake affair. Check out the details as well as listen to the Weasel gloat about his 4-0 record. We recap last week's matchups as all as talk about updates with FAB. Imagine spending a quarter of your FAB budget on a backup QB, smh.
Some demons came to the surface this week. After 3 weeks of fairly amicable pods, the Weasel and the Snake have a classic heated debate for a majority of the pod. Check out the discussion (fight) about Lamar Jackson and what makes a good QB, with some fantasy sprinkled in as well. Weigh in on the debate if you have a take. Particularly, who would you rather have, Peak Eli Manning or 2022 Lamar. Yeah, that was actually a discussion. This was a fun one.
Our resident pilot has flown in to join the pod this week to chat about the first 2 weeks as well as glance the Commish. With Nick joining us, we run through a week of matchups that included both a championship rematch (Weasel Snake Bowl) and a last place rematch (Higgins Bowl), we chat about FAB, and we also chat about trade targets as people are starting to get antsy with their teams. Climb up Mount Everett and join us for another week on the WS Podcast.
After weeks without a pod, the time has come. Since we last saw you, we've Sipped and Smoked, drafted, FABed, and even played through a wild week 1. We break down teams and matchups from the week, talk about a wild week of FAB including a pickup that cost someone almost a quarter of their FAB already, and we welcome on a special guest. It's good to be back.
The return. The Weasel and the Snake are back for season 3. We talk about a controversial no-trade that caused the Weasel to “contemplate leaving the league next year”, discuss rule changes like the new Free Agency Budget, and rank everyone's Keeper selections. Sorry Mike. We're a week out from the Sip and Smoke, and a Snake title defense. He's just chasing that ghost out in Fort Edward.
After a mid season break, the Weasel and the Snake are back. We give our midseason Power Rankings after weeks of big trades and injuries. We finish up looking ahead to both next week and the playoff picture, and the hunt to stop the Commish from his 3rd ring.
The Hex of Tua is on the line. Teddy joins the pod to talk about how the Snake could possibly be inheriting the Hex of Tua after we recap a wild Week 6. The Weasel sits atop the league because of the Breakfast Buddy Cooper Kupp and Dawson Knox with a broken hand. Again, it was a wild Week 6.
Call it a victory lap, call it a champion run like the Weasel, call it whatever you want but the Weasel and the Snake spend the pod basking in being at the top of the league. We talk about our dominant week, the most important waiver week yet because of injuries as well as the first week of byes, and finish with our predictions segment. We're at the top of the league so this is basically the gold standard pod.
Yeah he'll have the usual. The Weasel and the Snake are back at the (just about) quarter mark of the year, and surprisingly we're both sitting at the top of the league. We recap a week full of big performances in the NFL, as well as talk about some guys that could be coming off injury this week. This week's waiver segment finally has some viable players on it, so we touch on those before ending with predictions for next week. Shoutout to the Brunch Buddies.
Week 3 in the books so the Weasel and the Snake are back to talk some fantasy. We hit last weeks matchups which included a few guys taking laps (The biggest lap being the Snake's, both fantasy and donut related) as well as cover the slimmest waiver wire maybe of all time. The results are back for our first round of predictions from last week as well as a new batch of predictions during our matchups segment. Don't miss it.
The Weasel and the Snake are back to talk about a weird Week 2 in the NFL and our league. Running backs backs are still bad, the injury bug has begun, and Cooper Kupp is the best receiver in fantasy? We run through matchups, another thin batch of waivers, and look ahead to next week. (PS: Later in the pod there's a dispute that upon review of the tape, the Weasel was wrong, per usual.)
This week we have one massive take a lap award winner (The Snake) as well as multiple "Junior Lap" winners aka guys who were dumb but not the dumbest. We run through a thin waiver wire as well as take a look ahead at some key players for next week. At the end of the pod we introduce a new segment that puts the Weasel and the Snake head-to-head each week.
Sip and Smoke aftermath pod. The ribs were great but some of the teams were not. We do some draft recap as well as take a look ahead to week 1 (Which may or may not include a Weasel-Snake Bowl).
On our second pod of season two we recap the nitty gritty of the offseason with the one and only, the commish. We chat rule changes, punishment draft, and even some QB1 rankings. Also someone is taking the biggest lap maybe in league history.
New season, new Office quotes. The Weasel and the Snake have returned. Check out the first pod of Season 2 for an update on what's happened within the league and NFL, a look ahead to the season and 2nd annual Sip and Smoke, and more. Oh, and we have theme music now.
As the season is coming closer to it's end, we're one step closer from knowing who will be the champion as well as who will be in the Glens Falls Circle. Bodie joins us for his third time to discuss his title odds and chat about the coming weeks. Not locked in at all though.
The Weasel and the Snake are BACK just in time for a massive playoff push. See who emerged as playoff contender and who will be playing for their life to avoid the Losers Punishment. Enjoy a COVID free breakdown of every team in the league both in review of the season as well as a look into to the future. It's good to be back.

On this week's pod pod, we welcome our league leader, the Diabetes Boy, Jake Kerr to discuss maybe the most stacked Main Event and undercard of matchups we've seen yet. We talk about Jake's consistent success, a razor thin margin between over half the league in the standings, and gear up for a high stakes Weasel Snake Bowl.
After yet another week with an under 1 point victory, the Weasel and the Snake are back. We begin and quickly end trade talks on air, breeze through some key waiver finds, and take a look at the matchups for the week all while giving you some slightly above average fantasy outlooks for the week. Don't forget to take your cool down lap.
In this beautiful Weasel Snake creation we discuss week 7 predictions, chat with Brian, and find some new information about certain people in the league. A word of advice, there is more that meets the eye when you attend a prom at the Holiday Inn.
We check back in on some honestly terrible hot takes that came from the previous Double-Mega Pod. We talk matchups, DFS, waivers, and more, as well as listen to the Weasel continue to die on the Raheem "Munster Cheese" Mostert Hill. What's new. What is dead may never die shoutout Brian.
Listen to the Weasel and the Snake as their joined by a brand-new guest! Listen to the hot takes, bold predictions and learn about the new "show me your belly button player of the year award". It's a good one, don't miss it!
No one wanted to get up early this week so the Weasel and the Snake are flying solo. We run through matchups, meaningful tattoos, and talk about one of the most Snake-like Snake moves ever recorded This one is a little unorthodox so be ready.
We've reached double digits. Pod 10. And with Pod 10 we come bearing gifts: THE WEBSITE. After a week of (almost) all upsets across the board, we talk about the events of NFL Week 4.
