The guys talk about managing some directional trades going into the weekend, but they stay focused on opening new positions in markets that are starting to show some opportunity. Don't close that platform just yet! There are still some new ideas to mull over in commodities.

The guys are back at it again this week. They review their wheel picks again, though Opie and Kevin abstain this week. After Pete breaks the guys with another Bond breakdown and Alex and Dave are properly broken by the last Hobbit film and Elm Street 2, Dave is forced to make a new pick on the wheel. What does he get? Only the wheel knows! After that, the guys talk the Monsterverse with Godzilla and Kong. They are rightly excited while being overly critical of the franchise as a hole. What else is new? Now go enjoy the episode, and don’t forget to like and subscribe, philistines!
Welcome back dear listener(s?)! In episode 15 we touch upon myriad topics, some low brow, others the very highest of brow. As ever, it's a podcast of great pith and moment which may change the way you look at the world forever. Failing that, the way you look at high-street banking. We begin with Pete's love of the Scotch, Welsh and our limited knowledge of the London borough of Fulham. Pete's friend Aaron gets yet another mention, this time with his savvy coining of a phrase to describe Pete's raconteur-esque anecdotes. After touching on the business practices of the Brighton chain of Burger King in the early 00s, we move onto the meat 'n' potatoes of the episode. A brief, but earnest discussion of our mental health struggles precedes an analysis of the scapegoating of Muslims in N-West England for the uptick in cases of covid19 in that area. It's DEFINITELY the Muslims, not all the white people packed into the pubs like cretinous sardines. After Pete's half-lecture, half-rant on all that, we're back on Terra Firma, with porn for the blind and how Pete's punking of a high-street bank blew up in his face. You lucky, lucky sausages. www.buymeacoffee.com/ednnpodcast Find us on Twitter @ednnpodcast1 Email us (Leigh) abuse via ednnpodcast@gmail.com *leave us a review on iTunes beside Beyonce and U2*
Pete Tanzilli, JT Thomas his wife and their son currently live in the Denver, Colorado area. Pete is a United States Air Force Veteran who served for 5 years during Operation Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle, before and after 9/11. The bullet went through his left pelvis, fracturing it and lodging in between the L5 and S1 of his spine. More than 3 years later, Pete still struggles with physical disabilities due to that gunshot wound. His struggles include foot drop in his left foot and complex regional Pain Syndrome. Public speaking can be a very powerful way to get your message across to a larger audience, but how can you feel more comfortable doing it? Public speaking is a big, big fear for a lot of people and today’s guest can help you connect with people from the stage. Pete Vargas helps people grow their business with stages. He and his team have booked over 25,000 stages worldwide and in 2016, he founded Advance Your Reach, an organization looking to impact one billion people through one million stage appearances by 2027. Pete lived with his grandmother when he was in the 6th grade due to the awful relationship he had with his father. Despite attempts at reconciliation, Pete decided to look elsewhere for role models. He looked up to inspirational heroes like Emmet Smith and David Robinson, who inspired him to become a better man. After Pete graduated college, he ended up giving up an $80K/year career opportunity in Dallas for an $18K/year salary to become a youth pastor in his hometown instead. He decided he was going to use a wide variety of speakers, everything from athletes to CEOs, to help inspire the youth group to become a better version of themselves; the same way he was inspired by these very individuals. Why does Pete refer to his work as ‘stages’ instead of public speaking? Pete believes there are too many war stories that come from the word ‘public speaking’ whereas stages is a much more approachable way to conquer your way into public speaking. The reality is there are a lot of full-time speakers out there who are on the road 220 days a year, but you don’t have to be a full-time speaker living in an airplane or hotel room to get your message heard. Stages are a way to grow your business, grow your movement, or grow your non-profit. There are 8 online stages and 8 offline stages that you can be on. When you are able to look at public speaking in a holistic way, it can completely transform your organization, your sales process, and the way you see your business… all without burning you out! Who is really in control of your life, or should I ask what? What is the true master you serve... is it food, work, or something else? After Pete’s 90 hour fast earlier this week, today we debrief and deep dive into achieving mental clarity through fasting, the benefits and risks.
After Pete has been out for 2 weeks (one was vacation in his defense) dealing with knee surgery, we threw him right to the wolves and had him do a Senseless Survey as Chuck Barkley.
Pete O’Neal was a street hustler and small-time pimp who gave up crime to struggle against oppression, founding the Kansas City chapter of the Black Panther Party. Charlotte Hill was a high-school student who gave up a college scholarship to join the Panthers and do community service. Their love affair seemed like a charmed one. But the Black Panthers became targets of intimidation and disruption by the F.B.I. and other law enforcement, and a climate of paranoia set in. After Pete was convicted on a firearms charge that he considered trumped up, he jumped bail, and he and Charlotte fled the United State with false passports. Since 1970, Pete has never been able to return. Living in Africa, they began to think about how to resume the work they had commenced as Black Panthers. As well documented as the nineteen-sixties were, the staff writer Jelani Cobb notes, the story of radicals forced into exile is hardly known. The producer KalaLea reported from Tanzania, with additional reporting by Andrea Tudhope in Kansas City. (Part 1 of a two-part story.) Tshidi Matale, Kiva, and L. D. Brown of Grey Reverend contributed music for this story.
Did you guys see the big cow? After Pete recovers from his awe at that absolute unit, Dane talks about being a guest on Dimly Lit. The guys discuss their plans for the movie adaptation of Kafka's The Metamorphosis with full trilogy potential, before moving on to another hot internet topic regarding a girl with an odd name, and her mother who thinks she's clever. Elsewhere, Dane admits to his former status as a Nice Guy™ with Music's Burning Question this week, ending with the guys solving the internet's biggest food related disputes, once and for all. Finally, Dane's LAME about Notoriously Bad Movies, and things get heated about one of the selections.
A really raspy-voiced JP Finlay joins Pete Hailey for this two-host installment of Redskins Talk. After Pete's mediocre rendition of "Happy Birthday" dedicated to the absent Rich Tandler, JP drops a promising announcement regarding the upcoming Podcast Party. Then, Pete rattles off some of his favorite nuggets from the team's most recent OTA session, including thoughts on Josh Doctson and whether he's ready to ascend, Josh Norman playing in the slot and Ryan Anderson getting a little action with the D-linemen. After that, JP transitions to a review of his Vegas trip and his blossoming friendship with Raiders owner Mark Davis. And in the pod's closing minutes, Brian Mitchell makes a surprise appearance and gives his thoughts on Doctson, burner accounts and various other topics. If you like podcasts where it's immediately evident that JP is still battling the post-Vegas bug and Pete's sheltered lifestyle is brought up, then this is the episode for you. (Also, come to the Podcast Party on June 14 at Matchbox in Ashburn. Tell your friends to come, too).
After Pete was done talking about the things banned from the Masters, Kevin brought up an email he got yesterday about the Brockton guy playing in the Masters coming up. Hear him read the email and see if his tone changed from the day before.
Who would have guessed Pete and Gretchen would make it to 10 episodes? After Pete tortures Gretchen with some hard to pronounce wine grapes, they dive right into the FMC Rewind. Gretchen claims she is getting more exercise since Pete took over her couch, then she moves on to more serious business – reality TV. Then the couple goes into planning for Thanksgiving and trying out some NSNG/Banting recipes. Not everything works out, but they did find some gems. We opened this action packed show of epic proportions with Rapper Johnny D's newest song "No Problem", Rob opened with a story of another show fucking with us this past weekend, and we did our own version of it called "Wetback & The Wife: with SLAMBOT7000". Slim celebrated Saint Patrick's day by drinking a corned beef and cabbage smoothie, then we all enjoyed a shot of Coldcock Whiskey before taking the Slamborghini out of the garage for #SLAMTIME. After Pete morphed into the Slamborghini from his power hour of beer shots and Coldcock Whiskey, Vermin Supreme called in and had a Presidential Debate with him. It was outstanding, and even though the Samborghini lost, Vermin agreed to let Slambo be his running mate. We interviewed our good friend and Rapper Johnny D for the third time, and he spit live on the air for us, Screen Writer Brent Beebe called from under water, Video Game Enthusiast and Podcaster, Jordan Carlson, and Guitarist Paul Phillips who played with Puddle Of Mudd and other bands. It was a great show, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did, buddies!
SK and Cocoa Welcome local musician, Pete Feliciano who sings well but knows nothing about Brian Boitano or his home neighborhood of Chinatown.
