Beverley Klein and Teddy Kempner are currently playing Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz in the West End revival of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. Directed by Rebecca Frecknall, Cabaret opened in December 2021 and won seven Olivier Awards, the most for any musical revival in Olivier history. Both Beverley and Teddy - who joined the cast of Cabaret earlier this year - have worked extensively in theatre; they've worked together several times before, most recently in Caroline, Or Change at Chichester Festival Theatre.Just a few of Beverley's theatre credits include Candide and Honk The Ugly Duckling,(National), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying  (Chichester Festival), Into The Woods, Sunday in the Park With George (Châtelet), Sweeney Todd (Opera North), Me & My Girl (Kilworth House) and Les Miserables (RSC, Barbican & Palace). Em seu maravilhoso Jorge Ben (1969), o cantor e compositor convocou duas feras para os arranjos, José Briamonte e ninguém menos que Rogério Duprat, o maestro arranjador mais inventivo da Tropicália. A capa deslumbrante é obra do pintor e artista plástico Albery, e também dialoga com a estética tropicalista. O disco abre com uma sequência matadora de 4 canções em homenagem às mulheres, sob prismas diferentes a cada vez. Que não reste dúvida alguma, Jorge Ben foi quem compôs e cantou melhor as mulheres desse país, entre outros feitos. Em Barbarella podemos perceber o artista roçando na tropicália sem perder um milímetro de seu estilo único e original. O samba rock tá lá, a batida do seu violão inconfundível está lá, sua forma de composição capaz de produzir as imagens mais loucas e singelas estão lá. No entanto, a homenagem a Jane Fonda que interpreta uma heroína em Barbarella (1968) dirigido pelo cineasta francês Roger Vadim, é um delicioso  exercício por parte do maestro Duprat, que cria com uma orquestra, sons que remetem a esse clima de ficção científica.  Sem dúvida alguma, Jorge Ben (1969) é certamente um dos grandes discos da carreira desse que é um dos maiores inventores da música brasileira, um dos pouquíssimos a possuir um estilo único e extremamente singular de tocar e compor, de cantar e performar suas canções.

Hannah Albery has been the Headteacher at Yarborough Academy since September 2017. Previous to this, she was in the classroom for ten years and has had the roles of Early Years Lead and Mathematics Lead. She is a qualified Mathematics Specialist Teacher, a Teaching for Mastery Specialist and a Numicon Consultant. From an intense amount of personal investment in the form of: reading, research, CPD and work alongside highly qualified professionals, she is currently leading her school through, the exciting but testing journey, towards becoming Trauma Informed. Kate Margarson is the Behavioural Health Lead at Yarborough Academy and the director of The Nurture Lady. Kate has a PhD in Creating Attachment Relationships in Education and works therapeutically using play therapy models, alongside Theraplay, DDP and Sensory Attachment Interventions. Kate is working with a range of schools to ensure that CARE and attachment informed relationships are at heart of educational policy and practice.
