Directed, co-written, and co-edited by Sam Raimi, Army of Darkness is the dark fantasy comedy film which serves as the third installment in the Evil Dead film series and the sequel to Evil Dead II (1987). Luke and Nathan go back to the Middle Ages (better known as 1992) alongside Bruce Campbell who is trappen in time, surrounded by evil, and low on gas. Ash (Bruce Campbell) must quest for the Necronomicon, a book of evil which can return him to his time. Unfortunately, he releases the evil trapped inside the book and unleashes an army of the dead.

Demons, Deadites and ghouls, including a particularly nasty hag named Henrietta (Ted Raimi). Can Ash hold back the hordes until dawn, or will the paranormal trouble-makers swallow his soul? That's right you primitive screw heads, another podcast is ready to invade your ears like the army of the dead from this movie stormed the castle for the Necronomicon. Fear not though folks, Ash will be there with his trusty chainsaw and boomstick to protect us and save the day! This week we review 1992's Army of Darkness starring Bruce Campbell and directed by Sam Raimi. In the third installment of the Evil Dead trilogy we follow Ash (Bruce Campbell) as he is sucked through a time portal into the year 1300 A.D. and he has to fight the army of the dead and retrieve the Necronomicon so he can be sent back to his original time. The movie is great on so many levels, from the ultimate cheese fest that it is all the way down to the infamous one liners this movie spills out from "the chin" himself. Can't say enough other than it's highly recommended by the film bros here to go see it. Kick back, have a listen and hail to the king baby!
