The offseason is officially underway for the Columbus Blue Jackets now that their GM hunt is complete. The Jackets hired ex-Carolina Hurricanes GM Don Waddell to take over the same position in Columbus. Waddell led the Hurricanes to six straight playoff appearances during his tenure, including two trips to the Eastern Conference Finals.
