A summer of indie games is nearly upon us and among them are Super Mega Baseball 2, NBA Playgrounds 2, and Casey Powell Lacrosse 18. News on those three are discussed in this episode of the Press Row Podcast which also covers the revelation that Pro Evolution Soccer is losing its exclusive UEFA license and progress in a fantasy draft being held for MLB The Show 18. On the show this week: Bryan Wiedey, Pastapadre/Sporting News/Hit the Pass (@pastapadre) Rich Grisham, OOTP Developments/Hit The Pass (@richgrisham)
On today's show, Marc meanders their way through a shorter-than-usual show, talking about some Casey Powell Lacrosse 16, Super Lucky's Tale, even more Into the Breach, and the very weird film, Suburbicon, which is surprisingly directed by George Clooney and written by the Coen Brothers. Anyway, something-something breachy and halo reachy, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly briefs over boxers) show. Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. And don't forget, you can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's your jam--you can probably buy your favorite blueberry jam on Amazon too.

Today on what got you there Sean is joined in studio by the greatest lacrosse player of all time Casey Powell. Casey’s love for the sport started in the small town of Carthage, New York and from there Casey went on to be a 4 time All American at Syracuse University. While at Syracuse Casey won a national championship and was the recipient of 2 NCAA Division 1 Most Outstanding Player awards. Since his college career, he's continued his success, ranking first in MLL history in points and won the league's MVP award at the age of 38 in 2014. Powell is also the only American-born player to ever be named the NLL MVP. He's also gone on to lead a lacrosse non-profit organization, The Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation, which supports lacrosse players, coaches, organizers and enthusiasts from across the globe to preserve its powerful and unique culture, while also growing the game. In addition, he has a video game that bears his name "Casey Powell Lacrosse 16." Casey shares his passion for the game and how him and his brothers went on to be the most accomplished lacrosse players of all time. http://whatgotyouthere.com/ 15% off Four Sigmatic with discount code "WGYT" http://foursigmatic.com/wgyt Free 30 day Audible Trial- http://www.audibletrial.com/WhatGotYouThere Sunniva Super Coffee- Use discount code WGYT for 20% off your order!- www.drinksupercoffee.com DSTLD-Just go to DSTLD.com right now and use the promo code JOURNEY10 (in all caps) at checkout to get 10% off your first purchase. https://caseypowell.com/ http://www.worldlacrosse.org/ https://speedlacrosse.com/ Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/casey.powell.750 Twitter- https://twitter.com/caseypowell22 Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/caseypowell22/ Sean DeLaney Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/seandelaney23/ Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/whatgotyouthere/ Twitter- https://twitter.com/SeanDeLaney23 Intro/Outro music by Justin Great- http://justingreat.com/ Audio Engineer- Brian Lapres
Lacrosse legend, Casey Powell, shares his journey on and off the lacrosse field on The Brink of Midnight Podcast. Casey Powell is one of the most accomplished lacrosse players in history. From winning NCAA (Syracuse University) and world championships (MLL, NLL), All Star and MVP titles, and being the face of the only major lacrosse video game on the market, he has truly done it all in the world of lacrosse. Like a lot of us, Casey was drawn to sport through imagination and backyard games. The first to have and hold a lacrosse stick in his small New York town, he developed an almost instant passion for lacrosse that underscores all that he does in the sport community today. Whether it's innovating through his new Speed Lacrosse, serving others through his World Lacrosse Foundation, or connecting one-on-one with youth players across the country, Casey's authenticity is undeniable and a unique mix of humility and style…the same mix he developed as a kid dodging clotheslines and apple trees, playing in the neighborhood. Sports matter. From the lessons earned and community built around shared purpose, and this conversation will move you to think creatively about how to chase your passion while supporting your own community in profound ways.
