Hip Hop Gamer fell in love with videogames at the early age of 4 years old. In December of 2007, he would take to digital media to create his first YouTube video and merged Hip Hop and gaming into one entity. One video led to another, and soon Hip Hop Gamer started to develop a small fan base. E3 veteran and former owner of thebitbag.com, Torrence Davis soon spotted HHG's work and offered him credentials to attend E3 for his first time. It was then that HHG strove to become a world renown brand in gaming media. The HHG movement continued to grow as after an interview with TV host and DJ Peter Rosenberg of “Ebro in the Morning” on Hot97, as he was presented with the opportunity to become a gaming content contributor for New York's top hip-hop radio station, Hot 97 combining his love for gaming, sports and entertainment in a unique way, the Hip Hop Gamer began curating and creating custom content for motion pictures such as Battleship and Ghost in The Shell as well as by interviewing celebrities such as Jerry Rice, Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jon Cena, Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Ryan Reynolds, Tyler Perry, RZA, Raekwon, Vivica A. Fox, Angela Basset and a host of other A-list celebrities and industry leaders. Hip Hop Gamer was also one of the first journalist to be on Playstation Home. He also has music that can be found in Watchdogs 2, Twisted Metal, Halo Reach, NBA Playgrounds 1 and 2. He is a playable character in the NBA Playground games and a charcter in the Watch Dog 2 Game. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mastermine-mrg/message
A new TMNT game has proven that retro-style gameplay is in fashion, and would be most welcome on the virtual hardwood as well. Unfortunately, NBA Playgrounds didn't scratch that itch, leaving us wanting a new NBA Jam game. We also catch up on the latest results from our respective seasons, and discuss the influence that playing real hoops has on basketball gaming. On this post San Diego Comic-Con 2018 episode, Sean Garmer and Marc Morrison discuss the juicy details that Microsoft may be planning not one, but two consoles for a 2020 release. One of them is possibly an all streaming edition. Could this actually be feasible by then? Or is it still too early for it? What are some features it could bring into gaming? We discuss that and more out of that potential big news. Nintendo also sues two Rom websites for copyright infringement, could they be starting a war on downloading their games over the internet? NBA Playgrounds is now published by 2K. The Sly Cooper Animated series is finally happening. Battle Royals could earn $20 Million in 2019, and much. Then, on the entertainment end things get a little controversial, as the guys tackle the gaming Arena Net scandal. The firing of James Gunn. Dan Harmon's bad video, and somehow Twitter was involved in all of those too. They also talk their favorite trailers from SDCC 2018, HBO bringing some big news. Joss Whedon leading a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer reboot, the world's first anime music streaming service, and a lot more.
