(05:15) Professor Dr Ger Graus OBE is a renowned figure in the field of education, where, since March 2017, he holds the position of the first Global Director of Education at KidZania. KidZania, where children aged 4 to14 can experience the world of work through role-play, is designed to inspire and empower: “from inspiration to aspiration”. Since its inception in 1999 in Mexico City, KidZania now has a presence in 24 cities on 5 continents with plans for further developments in some 20 locations including the USA, Canada and South Africa. KidZania London is the UK's first such educational entertainment centre. Ger Graus has been at the heart of innovation and project development such as 'KidZania World Online', 'KidZtalk', 'KidZania Careers Week', ‘KidZania LitFests'; education ‘Think-Tanks', 'Ambassador Schools' and independent evaluations by, amongst others the University of Cambridge, Cass Business School, Havas Helia and Ernst & Young. Based on these evaluations' findings, Ger is now spearheading a ‘Futures Awareness' campaign to introduce careers education into the primary phase. Os tablets são ferramentas que começam a ser utilizados de um modo bastante regular nas salas de aula das Escolas/Agrupamentos. Por ter feito parte do piloto Creative Classroom Lab promovido pela European Schoolnet, o Agrupamento de Escolas do Freixo tem uma vasta experiência no uso de tablets em sala de aula. Neste webinar, o Diretor do Agrupamento, Dr. Luís Fernandes, e a Coordenadora do Departamento de Educação Especial, Dra. Cristina Pontes, vão dar o seu testemunho, apresentando alguns exemplos práticos do uso desta ferramenta em contexto de sala de aula, neste agrupamento, com alunos com Necessidades Educativas Especiais.
O Selo de Segurança Digital é uma iniciativa europeia dirigida às escolas que visa promover e certificar práticas de segurança digital. É uma ferramenta gratuita que ajuda as escolas a manterem-se a par das novas tendências de integração das tecnologias de informação e comunicação na sala de aula e que oferece certificação e um serviço de apoio em segurança digital a nível europeu. Esta iniciativa surge como uma referência europeia para a segurança digital nas escolas do espaço europeu, permitindo evidenciar aquelas que têm uma preocupação acrescida com esta temática. O Selo de segurança digital é um projeto com múltiplas parcerias, apoiado por diversas empresas, Ministérios de Educação e Centros Internet Segura. Esta iniciativa da European Schoolnet que foi lançada em Bruxelas, no dia 7 de fevereiro de 2012, Dia da Internet Mais Segura, circunscreveu-se a um projeto piloto que envolveu seis parceiros europeus. Durante o ano de 2012, o projeto envolveu 6 escolas nacionais. No ano seguinte, o piloto foi alargado a 50 escolas portuguesas. No ano 2014, com a generalização do projeto a todas as escolas nacionais, foram criados cerca de 100 registos de escolas. Podemos destacar alguns dos benefícios que este projeto pode trazer para a Escola e para a comunidade educativa. Le harcèlement dans le milieu scolaire et sur Internet reste un phénomène inquiétant en Europe. Cette semaine à Bruxelles, le projet ENABLE, soutenu par la Commission Européenne et mis en ouvre par European Schoolnet avec les plateformes sociaux (Facebook, Twitter, Ask.fm) a donné la parole aux jeunes. Des écoliers de tous les Etats membres de l'UE, réunis en atelier de réflexion ont apporté leur propres réponses à ce problème.
