With graduation season upon us, and with so many people trying to figure out what to do with their lives, GamerDude remembers back to when he graduated from Bowling Green State University. Like so many people, he wasn't sure what to do after he graduated, or where to go, or how to get there. He talks about spending a year in graduate school, and "trying on" a job that involved working on campus and in dorms. When he realized that wasn't for him, he left the graduate program, returned home, and started looking for work. GamerDude first landed a job driving limousines. He talks about what driving a limo was like, and how he learned patience and customer service behind the wheel.  He talks about working in retail, and how he started as a stock boy at Fashion Bug, and how that evolved into a job as a quasi-fashion merchandiser.  And, he talks about how working those jobs enabled him to volunteer at a college radio station so that he could learn how to become a disc jockey, which eventually led to a full-time, paying job at a local radio station.

Thursday June 20th I left the Good Grief event last night a bit traumatized. Floyd’s burger story gets me past the chills. Strawberries, bridges, Vans in the Rated Game. Mercy nurses are back to work without an agreement. Bomb scare at UF. Bat with rabies in Lucas County. Central grad headed to pro baseball, not MSU. Dan Watson appears to be staying with the Walleye. Netflix has a new show that you will love. In Memoriam is the title of Riverdale’s first episode next season. Avengers is rereleasing. Mixed-ish! Keanu Reeves is wanted for an MCU role. There’s also a petition to make him Time’s Person Of The Year. The Harry Potter version of Pokemon Go hits tomorrow. Ashleigh’s PFOD is public bathroom centric today. Gas station delicacies. Let the dog Bachelor begin, with Sal. Kounselor Kelsey is here. She’s part of our Lucas County Suicide Coalition, and a counseloer, duh, as Springfield. I wanted her to share what her day is like with kids, and how she can help you with them. Quick MLT and when Floyd got the Fashion Bug from Donna.
