"Kaboom: Express or Explode" is our new 3-week series where Joel guides us through the "grown up" version of the message our K-5 students will hear at our upcoming Kids Camp in June. In this series, we start by dispelling myths on emotions, signs of being emotionally mature, and how Jesus expressed his emotions in his time on this Earth.
This Sunday consisted of two parts as John begins talking about discipleship, families, and the local church leading into a panel as Carmen spoke with our Kids Director (Dan) and Students Director (Abbey) as they outlined that path of ministry and the plan we have for children at Five14!

After last week's briefing on 1 Timothy, Joel begins to dive into Chapter 1, the purpose behind Paul's letter to Timothy, and getting into what the Gospel is and the church's role in proclaiming that.

He also shows a much easier way to do this than we're tricked into believing - and that it's not the long road back we get told - by simply adjusting our posture and turning back to Him into his loving embrace.
In the final week of "Vistas and Valleys" - biblical teachings on the highs and lows of life, we hear from Joel about joy, being fully known and loved, how God turns graves into gardens, and more.
