I'm your host, Adriana, and this week, we're unveiling a brand-new wedding planning tool that's about to revolutionize the entire experience. Meet Pearl Planner, a free, AI-powered planning dashboard from David's Bridal that's smarter, faster, and more personalized than anything you've seen. And yes—it's 100% free. We also talk about what planners don't cover, the surprising stress of planning a bachelorette party, and how Pearl works with your wedding team—not against it. Episode Highlights: • What “Aisle to Algorithm” really means • Why traditional wedding checklists just don't cut it anymore • What Pearl AI can do (and how it's different from your usual chatbot) • How it tailors everything—from your tasks to your wedding website • Why David's is changing the wedding planning game—for everyone • And yes: how to plan smarter and earn rewards while you do it Planning a wedding—or just curious what the future of wedding tech looks like? This is a must-listen. Let us know what part of planning has you the most stressed—and what you wish an app could just do for you. We're taking notes. How should Christians plan and celebrate their wedding and reception? What should the wedding say and emphasize? And how should we conduct ourselves? Here's good news! God has not left us to flounder. His all-sufficient Word provides what we need to make wise choices in planning this special day. In this podcast, Scott Brown and Jason Dohm, joined by special guest Carlton McLeod, share insights from their new book, A Christian Wedding, on how a bride and groom can reflect Christ every step of the way. After overviewing the biblical record of weddings, they then give practical counsel on how to steward your relationships and resources wisely and make God-honoring decisions related to music, wedding attire, and more. Their advice: Showcase the biblical vision for marriage. Put on a wedding you can afford. Reject worldliness—and give your family and friends wonderful pictures of the beauties of Jesus Christ as you come together as one.

This is a bit of a chit chat episode about how I manifested my dream wedding! Not only do I go through the steps I took in order to create this dream, but I also chat about how we dealt with the negativity that society and others placed on us when we were in the process of planning our special day. If you are already married, or aren't getting married anytime soon, there are still lots of good take aways in this episode which will be relative to whatever it is you're manifesting! In my examples I mention manifesting other events like birthdays, graduations, shows or holidays. This is a fun episode where we chat about the power of music while visualising, the importance of letting go and the integral step (in my opinion) of enjoying the process. Hope you enjoyed this ep! Tradition might say that the bride's hometown dictates the wedding location, but today that simply isn't the case. Choosing your wedding location is the first big wedding decision you make so there are a lot of thoughts (and opinions!) that will go into this. According to Zola, 45% of couples choose a location that is not local to where they live currently. This could be a hometown, a place that means a lot to you or a fun destination. Today we are going to give you all the tips on choosing a wedding location that is out-of-state! From guest experience to how to choose a venue, join us as we answer all the questions surrounding planning an out of state wedding. In this episode you'll hear: • Tips for planning an out of state wedding • How to choose the right venue out of state • Ideas for the best guest experience Links to all the things mentioned: • LoveStream • Ep 144: Destination Wedding Trends in 2023 & Beyond • Ep 119: Destination Weddings with RIU Hotels and Resorts • Ep 122: Why Destination Weddings Are More Fun with Mountain Weddings • Ep 59: Venue Tours If you have a question or fun story to share (we love hearing them!) email us at podcast@bustld.com CONNECT WITH US! Like, who plans a wedding in a pandemic tho? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say people with no choice. What's up and welcome to my life aka I was so traumatized by the pani (panic attack pandemic anyone?) Anyways, I vowed that I shall no longer like to talk about it because on here we keep it positive, but today I break my silence in order to give you the most EPIC wedding of 2023. Ayo is reel (not a typo) and welcome back kids, grab a snack, some tea, maybe a little water or wine, and let's get into all things bride (including but not limited to....the Met Gala and Matt Rife. I know. Today we get REEL deep. ) Always live, unscripted, and it's like, I'm your personal little angel on your shoulder saying everything you wanted to say today, in your pocket.
