After a devastating car accident left my daughter and son-in-law seriously injured, I've been walking closely with them through the slow, painful process of healing. In this solo episode, I share more about their story and how it brought me face-to-face with the lasting effects of trauma. Trauma doesn't just touch one area of life. It impacts our emotions, our bodies, our relationships, and our ability to function in everyday life. As I reflect on what it means to heal, I also want to speak hope. God has provided powerful tools through trauma-informed care and the expertise of trained professionals. Friends and loved ones can walk with us, and God Himself, Jehovah Rapha, is present in our pain. We inherit prejudices from our family of origin as well as the culture around us and in the media. The first time our irrational prejudices are confronted, it is unlikely that we will give them up. For most of us, overcoming gender, racial, sexual orientation, or religious prejudices was a process of many steps taken over several years. Once free of that curse, we will do well to remember that our transformation took time, reflection, critical thinking, and no small amount of patience out of other people because we need to become the prophets who challenge the many prejudices that remain a part of our society.

Sean “Diddy” Combs' legal team is facing an uphill battle as they prepare to defend him against explosive federal charges of sex trafficking, drug distribution, and running a criminal enterprise. Prosecutors are expected to call multiple cooperating witnesses—many of them alleged victims and former insiders—whose stories span decades and paint a picture of a carefully controlled web of abuse, coercion, and violence. That cumulative weight makes it difficult for the defense to dismiss the case as opportunistic or fabricated. This isn't just about one accuser—it's about an alleged pattern of criminal conduct, and the government only needs to prove that pattern, not each individual act.Diddy's attorneys are expected to focus heavily on undermining the credibility of the accusers, possibly pointing to inconsistencies or financial motives. Born into an army family, he received his education at The Doon School and Madras Christian College.Verma began his career by opening trekking routes between Kashmir, Zanskar, and Ladakh. He later transitioned into journalism and filmmaking, producing acclaimed documentaries such as Salt of the Earth for the Indian Air Force and The Standard Bearers on the National Defence Academy.As an author, Verma has penned several significant works, including The Long Road to Siachen: The Question Why, 1962: The War That Wasn't, and 1965: A Western Sunrise, Industani:Six degrees of separation.
