What started as a simple interest in the paranormal would end up leading Nick Waskiw on a journey of understanding and communication with the dead. From recognizing that his home was infested with spirits to communicating with spirits at some of the darkest locations around, Nick wanted to help and better understand the dynamics of the dead. Today we hear about Nicks one on one conversations with the dead and the questions he has had answered from beyond the grave. PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) , we discuss: Do spirits require human intervention to help them cross over if they did not take their first opportunity to move on? What has been one of the darkest cases that Nick has worked on? Has Nick ever felt threatened or in danger on any of these dark cases? When you grow up in a house filled with ghosts, it's not hard to naturally develop an interest in the paranormal. It's not a bridge too far to want to know who, what, where, and why you've been haunted through your formative years. Nick Graves is one such person. Starting in childhood, he and his family began to experience visits from the other side. While the setting of the structure he called home would change, the hauntings would not. Spirits of all types seemed to find Nick trying to make him aware of their presence. This is his story. PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) , we discuss: What does Nick feel like the ghost "family tree" looks like when talking about the paranormal? What did nick experience while investigating the Wilson Castle? Does Nick ever feel any reservation about how open communication can be today with the dead? Has Nick ever been in a situation where he felt what he was communicating with was negative? How did Nick make peace with the spirits while working late nights in a haunted restaurant?  As a Grave Keeper, for $5 per month you will get: Access to every episode (http://www.thegravetalks.com/category/podcast-episodes/) of our show, AD-FREE – MONTHS BEFORE THEY GO PUBLIC. Many podcasters take a full break this time of year because we all know that the numbers are gonna dip during this season anyway, but not The System is Down. I know there are some of you who may not have family to celebrate with, still have to plug in all the full work weeks, and maybe don't even celebrate the holidays. Because of that, I like to keep the content coming, so you have some fun for your ears regardless of your own personal situation. I do, however, like to make the holiday season episodes a little more laid back, casual, and fun. So, today's episode is my free form conversation with long time friend and supporter of the show Nate (Nick) Tucker of the Chipped Tooth Podcast.  Nate's podcast is a little more free form stream of consciousness than this one. He and Ben touch on news items and current events, but it's primarily just a relaxed enjoyable conversation between two friends. Sometimes I envy that simpler format. So, that's kinda what we're doing here today. Rather than forcing Nick into a single topic, I thought we'd just shoot the shit, talk about his podcast, talk about his interests, get to know each other a bit, and let whatever happens happen. It was a lot of fun. Is The Office a great show? Did man walk on the moon? Has Nick pissed his pants from playing scary video games? Who is Nate? Current event time. If you think the boys are debating this topic, well get ready for a surprise, because they're only arguing along the general lines of waitresses vs Hollywood actresses. Listen as Nick serves up his arguments for waitresses. Ryan plays along with actresses. And Mike is completely confused as judge for basically the entire episode.
