Welcome back to Stories From the River, where Charlie Malouf continues his conversation with Bradley Sullivan, the General Manager of the award-winning Albemarle Aces, for an in-depth discussion on leadership, motivation, and what it takes to build a high-performing retail team at Broad River Retail. Against the energetic backdrop of the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Bradley shares how his obsession with performance metrics, consistency in routines, and a deep investment in the growth of his Memory Makers have been the driving forces behind his team's repeated successes, including multiple top store awards and coveted cheeseburger trophies for sleep sales excellence. He highlights the importance of embodying the business, emphasizing the motto "be the business," and fostering a culture that values both results and personal connections. Bradley delves into the unique culture of the Albemarle Aces, describing it through the metaphor of poker—where patience, strategy, and embracing the hand you're dealt are essential to winning. He reflects on meaningful moments, like witnessing Memory Makers achieve personal financial milestones and seeing them feel at home in the store's nurturing environment. Motivated by the desire to create a legacy of excellence, Bradley stresses the importance of passionate leadership, the impact of teaching others to surpass their own expectations, and a love for "playing the game." The episode wraps up with Bradley sharing personal anecdotes about family, literature, and the comeback journey that's defined his return to Broad River, leaving listeners inspired to lead with heart and a competitive spirit. When Hilde Hinton was on the cusp of adolescence, her mother died. For years she protected her younger siblings from the truth about their mum.Despite the great grief of her mother's shocking death when Hilde was just 12 years old, there was also a sense of relief for Hilde. Recorded on-site at the 2025 Women in Mining National Conference in San Antonio, this episode brings authentic, unfiltered stories from two rising voices in the mining world—Margaret Hinton and Paige Courtney. Whether it's correcting outdated perceptions about the industry or advocating for reclamation and sustainability, their mission is clear: mining has a human face, and it's changing fast. This episode is packed with humor, heart, and hard truths—plus, a few ghost stories, underground adventures, and a growing obsession with mining history (and a certain Leadville legend, Baby Doe Tabor). Karl Bryan welcomes AI strategist Caroline Hinton for a deep dive into the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in the world of business coaching. Together, they break down how coaches are leveraging AI for efficiency, measurable ROI, client relationships, and industry relevance—while also addressing key ethical safeguards and practical tips for new coaches. Key Topics & Takeaways: 1. AI's Impact in Coaching AI is already being used (sometimes secretly) by executives and their teams, regardless of top-down adoption. It acts as an indispensable tool, not a threat—think of it as a “brilliant but blunt analyst” that's now part of every leadership circle. Three big shifts: stealth adoption, compressed decision cycles, and democratized simulation with AI tools. 2. How Coaches Are Using AI Massive time savings: AI can organize, summarize, and document calls and workshops in minutes instead of hours. Enhanced client relationships: With routine admin handled by AI, coaches focus on deeper human connections and tailored follow-ups. Powerful diagnostics: Tools like Profit Acceleration Software (PAS) quickly generate profit opportunity roadmaps with minimal data entry, saving time and impressing clients. 3. Demonstrating Value & ROI AI bridges the industry's “credibility gap” by providing both qualitative and quantitative proof of progress. Tools can analyze and track changes in mindset or business performance, helping coaches and clients see tangible results and ROI, updating results in real time. 4. Ethical Considerations Caroline's “Three Cs” of AI ethics: Consent (transparent use and permission), Containment (clear data boundaries and privacy), and Clarity (explainable, source-based results). Coaches should update contracts, anonymize sensitive information, and consider keeping an audit trail of AI interactions to build trust. 5. Advice for New Coaches Treat AI fluency like learning a new sport: start with prompt crafting and develop a regular practice routine. Focus on a “pilot loop”: select a single workflow to automate, measure improvement, and iterate. Harness free online training (from ChatGPT Academy, Google, YouTube) to build AI skills quickly and effectively. 6. Avoiding Overwhelm Filter decisions through: Bottleneck (where do you lose most time?), Anchor (pick one main tool), and Layer (slowly add new tools). Start small, evaluate results, and scale up as you go. 7. Staying Relevant in an AI World Differentiation comes from combining AI-driven insight, compelling storytelling, and an irreplaceable human touch. AI streamlines precision and analysis; coaches add value through empathy, leadership, and psychological depth. Embrace AI as your “superpower,” not a replacement for your unique human perspective. Notable Quotes: “AI is already in the room. It's a tool, not a threat.” “The best opportunity for coaches now is to help clients make sense of AI—decode, challenge, and humanize it.” “At the end of the day... that ability to connect at a human level, to make a difference, to be heard, to influence—are absolutely critical. AI just multiplies your impact.” Resource Links: Profit Acceleration Software by Focused.com ChatGPT Academy For more strategies on elevating your business coaching practice and leveraging cutting-edge AI, check out previous episodes or visit Focused.com. Synopsis:The episode, broadcast live on the evening of May 6th, 2025, is part of what the host describes as a "psyop rich environment". The host conducts the show twice a day, with the evening session open for phone calls or StreamYard participants. Topics for the show are often earmarked on the host's Twitter feed.A significant discussion revolves around divisive psyops that "bring out the worst in people" and reveal "what people really think". The case of Rodney Hinton Jr. is examined, whose son was reportedly killed by police, leading Hinton Jr. to allegedly run over a retired officer the next day. Online reactions showed people "cheering this guy on". The host views this, along with other cases like Shiloh Hendricks and Austin Metcalfe, as part of a series of psyops possibly leading up to a prophesied event. He emphasizes viewing such events with information that suggests they are "designed to entangle us emotionally" and advises social distancing from the screen and not taking anything at face value. The "antihero" element is noted in the Hinton story, comparing it to how figures like Luigi Mangione and Joker have been portrayed.

//The Wire//2300Z May 5, 2025////ROUTINE////BLUF: REVENGE KILLING IN OHIO, PROBABLE REVENGE KILLING ATTEMPTED IN INDIANA. WHITE HOUSE STATES NO TIMELINE FOR EPSTEIN DOC RELEASE. ISRAEL ANNOUNCES PLAN TO COMPLETELY OCCUPY GAZA.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events-Middle East: Israeli media has announced that Netanyahu's cabinet has approved plans to completely seize control of Gaza. Local Israeli media has stated that another general mobilization is underway, with tens of thousands of reservists being calling into active service in the IDF. -HomeFront-Washington D.C. - Significant scandal erupted over the weekend in Congress as House Resolution 867 was introduced for a vote. The bill sought to modify the text of 50 USC 4841 and 4842 (both being wartime trade laws) to restrict American's ability to boycott certain nations and groups (according to the bill's sponsors, specifically one nation, Israel). After the expected backlash, the vote on this bill has been postponed.AC: Most of the outrage over this is really related to the already-passed Anti-Boycott Act of 2018, which went almost completely unnoticed by the chaos of the COVID years. H.R. 867 merely sought to change the terminology so that the term "international government organization" was placed after the words "foreign country" in the text of 50 USC § 4841. What this means in practice is anyone's guess as the original law was passed with extremely vague and broad language. This additional aspect of adding IGO's to the mix is interesting in that it provides a clue as to what manipulations are being undertaken in Washington on this issue. Previously the laws only applied to government-level boycotts...but adding in IGOs could mean that the floodgates are opened for all of this to impact the average American.Washington D.C. - During a press conference the White House has stated that there is no specific timeline for the release of the Epstein files.AC: Though this was probably the case all along, there is almost zero chance that these files will ever be released. Following the binder-scandal of two months ago, a lot of older previously-known documentation will eventually be re-released and touted as new, but the files that everyone wants (as in Epstein's client list that does exist and was presented in court) will almost certainly never be made public.Ohio: A police officer was murdered as part of a revenge killing incident in Cincinnati. A traffic control officer was intentionally struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon near the University of Cincinnati. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Rodney Hinton Jr, who is the father of Ryan Hinton, a black male that was shot and killed by police on Thursday for drawing a gun on police officers who discovered him inside a stolen vehicle they were attempting to locate.AC: Not many details are being released on this incident, probably to reduce the palpably high tensions regarding this incident. Though the timing is hard to verify, local media reports that Rodney Hinton was shown the body cam footage of his son's death, which confirmed beyond all doubt that the police shooting was justified. After viewing the video, Hinton promptly left the police station and proceeded to murder what seems to be a random officer not specifically involved in the incident. Since this was very much a knee-jerk revenge killing, it's hard to imagine that Hinton would have murdered the correct police officer involved in his son's killing (even if it's because the officers involved in the shooting are probably on administrative leave as is standard procedure). However, now that the situation has become a high profile incident, the security concerns to the officers who are actually involved with the prior shooting are exceptionally high, thus the little information regarding the link between these two cases.Indiana

Jesus meets us where we are.Even when the disciples were hiding in fear, Jesus came to them with compassion, offering peace, not judgment. Our faith journey requires training.Like the disciples, we often fall back on old habits in hard times. We build resilience through spiritual practices: Scripture, prayer, communion, acts of mercy, and Christian community.Fear doesn't disqualify us.Jesus doesn't wait for us to "get it all right." He meets us in our fear and sends us out empowered by the Holy Spirit.Doubt is part of the journey.Thomas' story shows that questioning and searching are natural parts of growing in faith. Jesus welcomes our honest doubts and calls us deeper into belief. We are called to go and offer peace. As Easter people, we are not meant to stay locked in fear. We are sent to be a presence of peace, hope, and love to a hurting world.Key phrase to hold onto:"Peace be with you." — Let this be the posture you carry into every encounter.
