Husk frist: Tirsdag klokka 19:15 !!

Monday, July 22, 2019 Your prayers have finally been answered. We devoted an entire podcast on Netflix originals. I don't know a single citizen of the United States that doesn't have access to Netflix, so you can totally watch these movies along with us. Somehow it worked out that the agenda calls for possibly the biggest movie in each of the respective years of 2017, 2018, and 2019. No excuses!Btw, when you get to the awards segment and wonder why I (Jon) picked the kissing scene instead of the horrendous Mexican murder party as the biggest WTF moment, just go ahead and insert the right answer in there (as I obviously forgot the obvious correct moment). Hearing of Kevin Costner's murderous rampage is a lot like hearing about MacGruber's insane backstory of why he's actually the villain instead of Von Cunth. Ever see that flick? Join Justin and I (Jon) once again a year later to talk Forbidden Door in Toronto. We talk about the highs and lows and why ZSJ and Orange Cassidy are so great. Also, what did the Canadian crowd think of Okada and did we see any Canadian destroyers in Canada? Justin also tells about his recent GCW show in LA where he saw ZSJ, Nick Gage and Maki Itoh. Enjoy!

Many of you might know, but you probably don't. I (Jon) worked for Saint Paul Brewing, formerly Flat Earth Brewing from 2017 - 2020. This is where my love and appreciation for the craft behind craft beer embedded itself deep within my personality. I hadn't had passion for a hobby or lifestyle since being in a band, and I was grateful and happy to be a part of it. I am still friends with a good chunk of the fellow employees at SPB, including Head Brewer, Bob Roepke. We invited Bob onto the podcast, thinking we would review some beers and shoot the shit. But Bob, being the awesome dude he is, asked if some of his brewer friends could join. Beers were flowing, including an exclusive Munich Dunkel. Laughter and chaos ensued. A huge shout out to Bob for hosting on the brew floor. Shout out to Mimi and the SPB crew for all the help that evening. Thank you to Bradley (Dual Citizen Brewing Co), Matt (High Pines Brewing Co), and Jason (formerly of Castle Danger & Urban Growler) for joining in on the fun, as well. This week, Ali shows Jon the greatest 80s French farce. And after they get done watching Noises Off, they watch 1988's Big Business, directed by Jim Abrahams and starring Lily Tomlin, Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin, and Bette Midler! Ali's a city mouse! Jon's a country mouse! Both are trapped in a world they never made! Like Howard the Duck, who is not mentioned in the episode even once! Not sure why I'm bringing him up! I should go to bed!Big Business also stars Fred Ward, Michael and Mary Gross, Edward Hermann, Michele Placido, and SO MANY MORE PEOPLE I DON'T FEEL LIKE GOOGLING! GOOD NIGHT!PS: At one point I (Jon) call the creator of Garfield “Jim Abrams.” This was actually the name of my best friend in 3rd Grade. I have no excuse. I wasn't tired then.
On this all-new episode, we present Marvel's favorite freelance mechanoid peace-keeper, Death's Head! Never heard of him? Well, we can fix that! We dig deep into his origins, his cross-cultural guest appearances, and the history of Marvel UK! Apologies up front: I (Jon) managed to royally screw up and used the wrong mic to record my part of the episode. As a result, I sound real rough and bring a lot of background noise (I swear, most of those noises are coming from my chair!)
Sorry for the audio quality this week. I (Jon) messed up with a setting while recording. However... this is an important discussion about relationships for a Christian. We often hear a lot about relationships but many struggle in this area for various reasons which we discuss today. In today's episode, I Jon interviews Curtis Kennedy, the 23 year-old founder of Vertiball, the precision massager that mounts on walls to make personal muscle care effortless. The product is one of those rare ideas where you say, “why didn't I think of that” when you first see it. Vertiball is so logical and intuitive. If you ever have muscle pain or soreness, you have to check it out at vertiball.com. And as a gift to our listeners, Curtis is giving a 20% discount on his site if you use promo code “harvestgrowth20”When Curtis launched this business, he was still in college and had no extra money to invest, so he started entering business competitions. He went on to win or place at several competitions and earned $40,000 that helped get the product off the ground. From that point, he raised an additional $400,000 in non-dilutive capital (meaning he gave away no equity). Curtis shares some great advice on raising money even when you have no track record of success. In this interview, you'll also learn:•How to develop over 200 prototypes on a very limited budget in order to dial in the product until you get it “just right.”•How to get validation for your product without spending money on market research.•How to get past some of the hardships of being an entrepreneur and balance the startup life.•And, of course, how to raise money for your business, even when you may be young with little experience.Harvest Growth Podcast listeners, get 20% off your order at vertiball.com with promo code “harvestgrowth20”Check out all our interviews with fascinating inventors and entrepreneurs at HarvestGrowthPodcast.com.
This is the first episode that Tyler and I (Jon) recorded out at his place in Kenosha, WI. But we'll be explaining here of why we started KenoTalk and why you should go check out G-Fest. So sit back, listen, and hope y'all enjoy this first episode!
The story of this week's episode is that Jon had a simple question for Stan that he texted on a Sunday evening after a google search failed him. The question went something like this: "Top ten things to look at when your Realtor shows you houses.... go!" I (Jon) expected a list! 10 Things! But there's no such thing as a simple question when it comes to Stan. He convinces me to dig up the secondary microphone in the home office and record after 8pm on a Sunday night.
No full show this week! That’s right, we are on vacation! However, I (Jon) had to share some thoughts on the Daily Beast article by Nico Hines that caused quite a stir last week. The article was finally removed from … Continue reading →
This is a crazy episode folks as I (Jon) decided to get drunk during it. The result is annoyingly funny and high spirited. The topics this week include (but are by no means limited to) getting mistaken for a heroine addict, twin beds, recycling, gay scout fallout, weed tips, inner monologues, and much more. This … Continue reading Episode 79: Little Jon Draper →
Sorry for the delay, but I (Jon) have had my world turn around on me all of the sudden. I explain more about it in the next episode, which is recorded and should be posted tomorrow. This one is a real doosey though folks. James and I’s friend from high school, (and arguably our only … Continue reading Episode 38: Younghothairypussy.com →
