Pinegate Road Podcast: Stories & Strategies for Building Your Creative Business
Are you ready to start growing a team for your business? I’ve always felt a real kindred connection with today’s guest, Jamie Starcevich of Spruce Road. Although she doesn’t offer web design anymore, we have somewhat similar design businesses. We talk about so many things and she shares her insights into managing teams, working from home, moving around while she grows her business, and the transition from working in-house design studio jobs to starting her own business. I also found out in this interview that Jamie is pregnant so she was able to talk about running her business while getting ready to be a mom.
In this episode of Make It Happen, Jen is joined by Jamie Starcevich of sprucerd.com and together they talk about what they’re learning so far in their first year of business. Jamie runs a boutique graphic design studio and in this episode she shares with Jen her story and journey so far, how and why she discovered that the dream job isn’t always the dream, and the lessons she’s learning so far in her journey of being a creative entrepreneur. This is an awesome episode for anyone who is also in their first year of freelancing and just finding their feet, or for anyone who is thinking about taking the leap and would like an insight into two freelancers journeys so far.
