Why come together to worship and sing? What does singing do? How is physical expression linked to worshipping together? How does worship foster a greater sense of community? Lou inspires us to come to corporate worship with faith and expectation: ‘as you lift your voice, as you declare truth again over your life, as you lay your worries before him, God will meet with you!’

Looking back on Spring Harvest Local, as some of the hundreds of people who gathered at Mountain View Innovation Centre share their thoughts on an evening of music, worship, prayer and teaching. Alongside comments from Onnee Ayres, Ruth Walker of Scripture Union Ministries Trust, Rev Alex Brown and Bob Jeavons, we hear from event leaders Gavin Calver, Lisa Holmes and singer/songwriter Lou Fellingham, who, along with her worship band, provided the music (which is featured on the podcast too!) Lea Milligan was there too, talking about the amazing work done by Mercy Ships - which operates the largest charity-run hospital ship in the world. And the man who made the whole thing possible - David Dorricott - has the last word! PLUS EXTRA PODCAST CONTENT THIS WEEK! The whole of The Buchan School sing for peace! Hear them sing 'One Wish' as part of the 'ONE DAY ONE CHOIR' global peace initiative that uses the power of singing together to unite people around the World on Peace Day. Thank you to Mrs Sue Mills for sending us this recording - and well done to everyone involved!

Andrew French speaks about coming to find and know Jesus through answering two questions from John 14. We don't know where Heaven is, so how can we know the way? Thomas asks Jesus this question in John 14:5, and what Jesus answers Thomas with an explanation of how to reach our Father in Heaven. 5 Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?' Don't you know me? How well do we know Jesus? Have we stopped trying to learn more? God continues to reach out to us, and we need to ensure we don't block Him out - everything we do should be through the power of God. 9 Jesus answered: 'Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?' As part of Andrew's talk we listened to 'This Changes Everything' by Lou Fellingham. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YbnU7rBi6s
