Sleepwalking To The Gates of Hell with Martin Armstrong With or without our consent, humanity is being dragged into a horrific third word war. Martin Armstrong gives a sobering assessment and forecast of how, why, and what to expect when hell on earth manifests. Martin also discusses: • The likelihood that Americans will be subjected to an willingly accept a Chinese-style social credit rating system. • What the past eight civilizations that have collapsed (with the exception of Egypt post-1250 BC) all have in common. • Will the push for green energy fully succeed in the US or only prevail in a limited number of states. • When China becomes epicenter of economic activity by 2032, will it drastically increase it's sphere of influence and political ideologies the same way the US did in post World War II. • What form of government in history was most favorable to individual rights and what nations and states will have the most freedom in the future. 2022 World Economic Conference Orlando, FL November 11, 12, and 13 The (WEC) provides a rare glimpse into our financial futures, enable attendees to learn from the leading economic expert, and attract like-minded individuals from around the world. As a politician and past guest speaker Nigel Farage said, the WEC is “the alternative to Davos.” About Martin Armstrong Martin Armstrong is a legendary economic forecaster, pro-freedom advocate, and a brilliant observer of history and human nature. Once a US based trillion dollar financial advisor, Martin developed a computer model based on the number pi and other cyclical theories to predict economic turning points with eerie accuracy (he predicted the October 1987 Black Monday crash to the very day and the Russian financial collapse in 1998). In the early 80s he established his financial forecasting and advising company Princeton Economics. His forecasts were in great demand worldwide. As Armstrong's recognition grew, prominent New York bankers invited him to join “The Club” to aid them in market manipulation. Martin repeatedly refused he was put in a cage for over ten years (see 2014's documentary “The Forecaster” – . The UFC is on a brief break once again, and that means the Depressed-us is back in action. And we've got some make up work to do from our last show, that featured an all-too-fun main event between Luke Rockhold and Paulo Costa. Fortunately we've solved that conundrum with another dive into one of our favorite bad MMA genres: other brothers. While we had intended to make this an all Alex Stiebling opponent theme week (he's fought Mark Hughes, Jason Guida, Murilo Rua, and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira), only two of those fights ended up being 'D-u' worthy. So we've decided to tackle an additional “other brothers" Depressed-us instead... these bouts feature the less notable, less talented, less famous siblings of some of MMA's favorite fighters. We're kicking things off with a bout between Ildemar Alcântara and Leandro Silva from 'UFC on Fuel TV: Nogueira vs. Werdum', at 6:04. This bout went to decision after three rounds. Then we're jumping to 'Jason Guida vs. Alex Stiebling' at WEC 22, at 32:58. This bout also went to decision after three rounds. And finally, we're wrapping the whole thing up with 'Mark Hughes vs. Alex Stiebling' at UFC 28, at 57:13. This bout went to decision after two rounds, which is how things rolled back then. As is usual, we're watching all of this week's fights on UFC Fight Pass. If you'd like to watch along with us, start each video from the beginning when Zane says “go.” If you're watching these fights on another platform, Connor will try and mark the start of round 1 so you can sync your video up to that. Noah Gragson won for the fifth time in 2022 in a rain-shortened XFinity race at Kansas.  During recording, the cutoff stood at 13 points between Sheldon Creed and Ryan Seig on the bump.   However, Jeremy Clements appeal was heard and his win was reinstated.  For the Trucks, John Hunter Nemechek won for the 2nd time in 2022 at a crucial point in his career, making a last-lap pass on Carson Hocevar who was trying to back into the Round of 8.  Hocevar and three-time champion Matt Crafton were eliminated with Bristol on the horizon. IndyCar crowned Will Power as a two-time champion after he broke the pole record long held by Mario Andretti the day before.  Josef Newgarden was left to wonder about his season after winning five times and coming from tail back as Rusty would say to finish second on Sunday.  Alex Palou took a dominant victory in his final race as champion, with further news coming during the week regarding where he and Felix Rosenqvist will drive in 2023.  The guys covered other key news items that were in play prior to recent announcements.  Formula 1 saw controversy regarding the end of the race yet again at Monza but Max Verstappen continues to win.  Charles Leclerc and George Russell started on the front row after grid penalties were assessed, but the Red Bull driver is on a different level this season.  Nyck De Vries made his F1 debut in relief of Alex Albon and scored points for the Williams team, which probably signals where they will be going for their second seat in 2023.  The Roundup covered F2/F3 at Monza, WEC at Fuji Speedway, WSBK in Magny Cours, Supercars at Pukekohe, NHRA at Maple Grove for their playoff opener and MotoGP/Moto2 at Aragon before Phil and Josh gave their thoughts on NFL Week 1 for their respective actual and fantasy teams.  The guys previewed and made picks for the Bristol Tripleheader weekend before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.

Starting with Formula 1, Max Verstappen is on another level, with yet another win in Monza at the weekend winning from 7th place, despite Charles LeClerc starting in pole position. We had the cinderella story of Nick De Vries in Williams. The driver was substituted for Alex Albon after the driver was suffering with appendicitis. De Vries qualified 13th, but thanks to other driver penalties, started in 9th. He managed to finish in the same position, achieving points in his very first race! We have to talk about the safety car controversy. Keeping the safety car out and allowing Max Verstappen to take the win. It's like Abu Dhabi with Michael Masi all over again! Should the FIA have red flagged the race and allow a restart for the last three laps? Did they make the decision? Let us know what you think! We had a strange weekend in Formula 2, with a Championship win for Felipe Drugovich, even with 3 races to go! The Sprint Race was won by Juri Vips. Formula 3 ended up in a crash that causes a red flag. Victor Martins took the championship win from the pit wall. The Sprint Race win went to Franco Colapinto, whilst the feature race win went to Zane Maloney. In the Porsche Supercup, Harry King took pole position, but following a 3 place grid penalty after a shunt in the previous race, King took 2nd place, behind Bastian Buus. The Championship win was given to Dylan Pereira. The World Endurance Championship was taking place at Fuji, with 1st and 2nd place for Toyota and Alpine in 3rd. In the World Rally Championship, Hyundai had a 1, 2, 3 finish, following an awful start to the season. We had a spectacular Indycar race at Laguna Seca. Josef Newgarden made some great overtakes, but it was team mate, Will Power that took the Championship win the in Indycar series. The NASCAR series took place at the Hollywood Casino 400, with a win for Bubba Wallace. There's just 1 more race where drivers can qualify for the final 12 drivers, so exciting in NASCAR! In World Superbikes, the battle between Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu continues! Both riders fell off in the first 2 races. Next week, we have Moto GP and NASCAR!

Phil and Josh worked on Labor Day to provide E133 of the GSP to the fans and cover a busy motorsports weekend while leading into the start of NFL in 2022.  The guys get into "That Jones Boy from Byron, MI" winning his second Southern 500 along with the 200th victory for the No.43 in Cup Series competition.  In contrast, many of the playoff eligible drivers had issues including William Clyde Elliott II and Kevin Harvick along with the points leading into Kansas. In the XFinity race, Gragson gets his 4th victory of 2022 after last lap contact between Sheldon Creed and Kyle Larson.  Even with the action between those three, AJ Allmendinger gets closer to a possible regular season title.  Speaking of titles, the IndyCar Series ran at Portland with Scott McLaughlin winning his third race and pole of the 2022 season, holding off points leader and teammate Will Power.  However, Power still holds a 20-point lead heading into the season finale at Laguna Seca over Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden.  Phil and Josh discuss all of the happenings and their thoughts on those still in and those who were eliminated. Formula 1 saw the usual with Max Verstappen winning the Dutch GP, but it was not as straightforward as it has been at most races, with Mercedes having pace and a possibility to win.  Multiple yellows affected the strategy and led to the eventual result, leaving some like Lewis Hamilton pretty unhappy.  Ferrari continues to show why they are closer to Mercedes than Red Bull with their strategy calls and constant errors - mostly focused to Carlos Sainz at Zandvoort.  The biggest news was the notion of Colton Herta being the favorite for a seat at AlphaTauri, if he can get a Superlicense.  Phil and Josh talk about his candidacy along with other silly season tidbits leading into Monza. The Roundup has Phil broaching the NHRA US Nationals, Extreme E in Chile, WEC at Fuji Speedway, WSBK at Magny Cours and Supercars at Pukekohe before Josh returns for the NFL season preview for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers along with their picks for the Superbowl.  Previews and Picks come for the F1 Italian Grand Prix, IndyCar at Laguna Seca, and the NASCAR triple-header at Kansas Speedway before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.

A legislative committee voted to stop a proposed rule from the Wisconsin Elections Commission that would have allowed election workers to alter absentee ballot envelopes. WEC proposed this rule despite the fact that Wisconsin law is clear that an absentee ballot with incomplete information may not be counted. After all, complete and accurate information is critical to the integrity of the voting process and only the voter should supply that confidential information. Remarkably, just minutes after the decision, the leading democrat on the WEC board tweeted out that clerks can continue to ignore state law and the duly-elected legislature. Clerks be forewarned. Legislators believe if you continue to break the law, you are opening yourself up to civil and possibly criminal charges. Maybe that's what it's going to take for everyone to finally follow the law.

For most racing drivers, the chance to step up to Formula 1 is the opportunity of their careers, but Anthony Davidson says that his first grand prix start is something he still regrets to this day.Speaking to Chris Medland in the final episode from the current My big break series, WEC champion Davidson talks about the turning points in his career, which included more than a decade in top-level racing.Along the way, he brings his thoughtful views on why F1's points system should be revamped, the challenges facing female racing drivers, and his current commentary role.He reveals how an impromptu visit to Brands Hatch was the key to moving out of karting — where he raced alongside the likes of Dan Wheldon and Jenson Button — and into Formula Ford. Within two years, Davidson was a Formula 1 test driver and he eventually got his chance to race with Minardi, driving what he calls a "beast" of a car that he wasn't physically prepared for — and paying £250,000 for the privilege. But Davidson bided his time and was rewarded with a drive for Super Aguri, where he came agonisingly close to scoring world championship points. With the withdrawal of the team, he turned to sports cars, racing for Aston Martin before joining Peugeot's effort and then moving to Toyota, where he admits he's still "grieving" the 2016 Le Mans win that never was, when his car broke down with a lap remaining.Frank, funny, and insightful, Davidson takes you through the highs and lows of his eventful career.
