Welcome to our motorsports podcast where we discuss F1, IndyCar, IMSA, NASCAR, our own racing adventures, and some other adventures!Palou does it again! RLL puts up a great qualifying performance for the Sonsio Grand Prix but Palou and Chip Ganassi put together another masterclass to get the win. That's 4 wins out of the 5 races so far this season and Palou's worst finish on the year is a 2nd place....WOW! Amazing season for him so far. Looking ahead to this upcoming weekend, Indycar has its qualifying session for the Indy 500. One entry will be BUMPED from the field on Sunday. Who will be the 33 competing for this year's Borg-Warner trophy?IMSA and WEC raced this weekend as well at Laguna Seca and Spa respectively. Porsche and Ferrari may have won their respective races in convincing fashion but it was action packed, in a good way, with plenty of on track battles! Really worth a watch if you haven't seen the races. Some great stuff up and down the field. IMSA's next race is on the streets of Detroit and then after that it's Le Mans for WEC and some IMSA teams that were invited.Larson dominates in NASCAR at Kansas. Coming up this weekend: NASCAR is at North Wilkesboro, IndyCar has the Indy 500 Qualifying, F1 is at Imola, and Super Formula is at Autopolis.
NASCAR Xfinity and Trucks at Rockingham saw Sammy Smith win after Jesse Love was disqualified, and the appeal was upheld. Katherine Legge gets severe online harassment for an incident and the ripple effects of this towards the fanbase. Tyler Ankrum secured his first win in 4.5 years due to fuel mileage. Rodney Childers leaves Spire shortly after Cheddar Bob. The All-Star Race faced criticism for lacking fan-desired features, and the Championship Weekend will return to Homestead in 2026. Other topics include the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix results, the Sim Racing Enduro at Apex, and an NFL Draft preview. The episode also covers WEC at Imola, WRC Rally Islas Canarias, MotoGP/Moto2 at Jerez, NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, and a NASCAR Cup & Xfinity preview for Talladega including the Tate Fogleman Algorithm. Josh lets us know everything going on in iRacing on the Sim Segment before we call it a show.
Phil and Josh return for E267 of the GSP to provide their usual unfiltered commentary on the motorsports events of the past week. At Barber, Hello Palou returned to his dominant position with a win from pole. The guys discussed the fully green flag event, standout performers behind the champ, and the points heading to the Indy Road Course. Anytime motorsports take place at Texas Motor Speedway, expect Phil and Josh to let you know their thoughts. In this case, why any racing takes place at that dump. Like certain people's facilities, this track is godawful and shouldn't have any part in determining champions in any series outside the Bass masters. Three pseudo demolition derbies took place across the major NASCAR series, with Joey Logano, Kyle Larson (subbing for Connor Zilisch) and Corey Heim win in Cup, XFinity and Trucks. Formula 1 raced at the Dolphins' stadium parking lot Grand Prix after announcing a 16-year extension for nobodies benefit. The most compelling race of the weekend was the drivers doing a parade lap in full size Lego cars. In the sprint race, Lewis Hamilton was a Fred Alonso crash away from possibly taking his second sprint victory due to the variable conditions. In the actual race, Oscar Piastri proved once again why he is the measure to fight versus Fish Lips and look to earn McLaren their first driver's title since Hamilton in 2008. Phil discusses the ApexOne GT3 sim league on Assetto Corsa Competitizione and his breakdowns of the splits plus his chances (or lack thereof). The guys discuss Homestead being announced as the finale for the 2026 NASCAR season, which is a welcome relief for numerous NASCAR fans. They will rotate the race among multiple warmer weather sites, so Las Vegas could finally be an option. The GSP Roundup covers F1 Academy, Indy NXT, Formula E, WSBK, IMSA, WEC, MotoGP/Moto2, and Supercars before the race previews and picks for IndyCar at the Indy Road Course plus NASCAR Cup and Trucks at Kansas. Josh previews his opportunity to become a two-time iRacing Indy 500 champ in the Sim Segment along with everything else going on this month as a lead up to the Greatest Day in Motorsports.

Welcome to our motorsports podcast where we discuss F1, IndyCar, IMSA, NASCAR, our own racing adventures, and some other adventures!Piastri and Palou just keep winning in F1 and IndyCar. Dominant performances from the two of them in their respective races. Verstappen was able to put on a defensive show until the clock struck midnight as he was out of tires and then to make matters worse a Virtual Safety Car is deployed which put him back to 4th. Although Palou ran away at Barber, the rest of the field had an exciting race that was interesting to watch from a strategic point of view. When to pit, how quick could guys get their tires warmed up, who could defend with cold tires the best? It had some great lunges and passes that played into high risk, high reward scenarios.Logano takes the win in NASCAR at Texas. Coming up this weekend: NASCAR is at Kansas, IndyCar is racing at Barber, WEC at Spa, IMSA at Laguna Seca, MotoGP at Le Mans, and Supercars at Tasmania.
Welcome to our motorsports podcast where we discuss F1, IndyCar, IMSA, NASCAR, our own racing adventures, and some other adventures!Piastri goes back to back with a win in Jeddah to take the lead of the driver's championship in F1. The race essentially boiled down to a 5 second penalty given to Verstappen after a Turn 1 Lap 1 incident where Piastri runs Verstappen off the road in a situation where both drivers were going faster than they normally would be entering the corner.WEC had a fantastic race in Imola where although Ferrari took the pole and won the race, in Hypercar, it wasn't with ease. Strategy after some ill-timed full course yellows mid-race led to a great race that tested driver's patience as Imola is a fast and tight track that can be very high risk with high reward if successfully pulled off. In GT3, Manthey Porsche won the race narrowly ahead of the WRT BMW. A great battle that came down to the last lap and almost the final two corners between Richard Lietz and Kelvin Van der LindeComing up this weekend: NASCAR is at Talladega
After Rory McIlroy dramatically became the sixth golfer in the modern history of the game to win the career Grand Slam at The Masters, Phil and Josh return to discuss this momentous occassion and everything that went on in the world of motorsports. Kyle Kirkwood added his name to the illustrious history at Long Beach, becoming a two-time winner of the event after winning pole for both races. Alex Palou's early season winning streak was ended, but he still had a strong finish. Multiple pit strategies and a completely green flag race made it interesting, while Penske's performance definitely was not Penske Perfect. Kyle Larson dominated 2/3 of the weekend at Bristol, winning the Cup and XFinity races. Yung Money ended up 2nd behind Chandler Smith in the Truck Series event. Rajah Carruth and Martinsville winner Daniel Hemric both had solid days along with the Niece duo. Oscar Piastri inserted himself into the title discussion with a dominant weekend at Bahrain, culminating in a win from pole. The McLaren driver held off Woody Russell and teammate Lando Norris to take the top step. Fish Lips was nowhere the entire weekend while Ferrari had mixed fortunes. Phil is competing as an Am in the ApexOne GT3 Endurance race at Catalunya, so he gives his thoughts on ACC and his feelings going into the event. Can Phil come through with a victory? Someone who many thought would have a victory at Augusta long before Sunday was Rory McIlroy. The Northern Irishman made it unnecessarily interesting throughout the final round, but held on in the first hole of the playoff to make history. Phil was focused on the Masters because it has always been his favorite golf tournament of the year, while Rory's win also was a happy result. The GSP Roundup covered F2/F3/F1 Academy, IMSA, MotoGP/Moto2, Supercars, Formula E, WSBK, WEC and Anthony Wayne Stewart's first career Top Fuel win at Las Vegas in the Four Wide Nationals, with Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) taking the Wally's in their respective classes. Phil and Josh preview the Rockingham return for XFinity and Trucks and make picks along with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Formula One race before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.

More Top Sustainable Stocks To Consider includes several articles featuring terrific renewable energy, healthcare, branded consumer and natural food stocks. By Ron Robins, MBA Transcript & Links, Episode 152, April 18, 2025 Hello, Ron Robins here. Welcome to my podcast episode 152, published April 18, 2025, titled “More Top Sustainable Stocks To Consider.” It's presented by Investing for the Soul. Investingforthesoul.com is your site for vital global ethical and sustainable investing mentoring, news, commentary, information, and resources. Remember that you can find a full transcript and links to content, including stock symbols and bonus material, on this episode's podcast page at investingforthesoul.com/podcasts. Also, a reminder. I do not evaluate any of the stocks or funds mentioned in these podcasts, and I don't receive any compensation from anyone covered in these podcasts. Furthermore, I will reveal any investments I have in the investments mentioned herein. Additionally, quotes about individual companies are brief. Please visit the podcast's webpage for links to the articles and additional company and stock information. ------------------------------------------------------------- More Top Sustainable Stocks To Consider (1) Now, the following articles offer some interesting investment ideas. The first article is titled ESG Still Matters. 3 Defensive Stocks That Make the Grade. It's by Teresa Rivas and seen on barrons.com. Here are a few quotes from her article. “Portfolio manager Bill Davis is shutting out all the noise and sticking to his guns. The term ESG has been a lightning rod for a long time, but it is—and always has been—simply ‘a proxy for finding a well managed company…' Davis puts his money where his mouth when it comes to the actively managed Hennessy Stance ESG ETF, which doesn't invest in tobacco, fossil fuel, weapons, and similar areas. He does make exceptions based on company principles. The fund uses an algorithm to rank S&P 500 companies by various risk factors and metrics, and identifies those most likely to generate positive alpha and minimize harm. It also helps avoid being reactionary to the zigzags of U.S. policy these days. That strategy, which also avoids large positions, hasn't distinguished itself in these past few years when the Magnificent Seven tech stocks and a handful of other megacaps drove index performance—the fund, though, does have positions in Google, Apple, and Netflix. Still, Davis stands firm. The strategy can show its worth when investors are more concerned with downside risk protection. There are plenty of companies, though, that Davis feels differently about. He likes drug distributor Cardinal Health CAH —peer to Barron's pick McKesson—because healthcare remains a safe haven and Cardinal has done particularly well—doubling the S&P 500 in recent years. Its earnings growth profile is good and ‘it's a solid company with large enough scale to have pricing power.' Also making the cut is Atmos Energy AIO Davis cites the natural-gas utility's relative momentum—the shares are up nearly 30% in the past year—and its defensive qualities. Although the fund shies away from fossil fuels, distributors like Atmos that are transparent, focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, do fit the bill. Davis owns staple General Mills GIS as well, again for its defensive qualities, including a 4% yield, and its size—big enough to exert pricing power. He does see only modest upside, but also ‘low downside, so it's a good fit for our portfolio.'” End quotes. ------------------------------------------------------------- More Top Sustainable Stocks To Consider (2) This second article brings us back to the most likely favourite sector for ethical and sustainable investors. Its title is 5 Renewable Energy Stocks to Buy Amid Growing Market Demand by Nalak Das at Zacks and seen on finance.yahoo.com. Here's some of what Mr. Das says about his picks. “These five renewable stocks have strong long-term potential. These stocks have seen positive earnings estimate revisions in the last 60 days. Each of our picks currently carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). At the same time, these companies pay dividends regularly at an attractive rate. 1. The AES Corp. AES is one of the forerunners in the utility industry's transition to clean energy by investing in sustainable growth and innovative solutions while delivering superior results. AES continues to invest in clean energy projects. In 2024, AES completed the construction of 3 gigawatts (GW) of wind, solar, gas and energy storage.
