Who is your neighbor? From day to day, we go to work, shop, spend time with friends and come home. We often go into our homes and never consider our neighbors. As Christians we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. In fact, Jesus calls this the second greatest commandment. Our neighbors salvation should be of the utmost importance to us. Do you know your neighbors by name? Do you talk to them regularly? Do they know who you are and that you are a child of God? If a person is unhealthy, a doctor may prescribe that they do several things. Those things prescribed might be to lose weight, to change their diet, and to exercise. All three are necessary for optimal results. If you are unhealthy spiritually, you should consider losing the weight of sin, changing your diet of outside influences, and exercising your faith. Start by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As you make these changes, your results will be seen by all. Join me as I discuss a recent emergency room visit and how God showed me His hand along the way. While visiting my oldest daughter, I wasn’t feeling so well and decided to visit an emergency room. Surprisingly the entire emergency room was empty! I was able to receive prompt care that I may not have received the previous night. A simple phrase helped me to see God’s hand throughout this time. The Lord knows how to help us in the midst of our trials. Maybe He’ll clear an emergency room to calm you or relax your anxiety. Please share with us the times when God’s hand has clearly been on your life.” E-mail us your questions and feedback at drwhite@a5familyconnections.com Follow Dr. White on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram under Dr. Michele White.
