https://www.therealestateclub.com.au/real-estate-agents-youre-stressed-and-we-know-why/ - Real Estate Agents, you're stressed!  Kim Johnson and I delve into why and what you can do about it! Welcome to Lets Talk About Real Estate Podcast -  This is Lisa B and  today I have the amazing Kim Johnson (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimberlylowejohnson/) as my guest.  Kim is the author of the book - Who's Driving Your Bus?: A simple solution to the complex challenge of managing your emotions (https://www.amazon.com.au/Whos-Driving-Your-Bus-challenge/dp/0578572362)  I first met Kim through Tony Robbins (https://tr.tonyrobbins.com/start-results-coaching) - Kim was a coach for Tony  Robbins for many years, clocking up over 50,000 hours of coaching. That's a LOT of coaching!    Coaching allows us to see patterns in people.  It allows us to recognise their limiting beliefs and their model of the world.   Kim specialises in coaching real estate agents. Today, Kim and I discuss stress in real estate and why real estate agents feel stressed the majority of the time.   Why they never seem to feel settled.   We discuss how to recognise emotions and what to do about them.   And let's be realistic.  It's normal to have off times… off days.. off weeks even.   Our job is to aim to NOT live in a non-resourseful state permanently, and the first step is self-analysis.  We want to be resourceful.   Kim will share with you how to recognise your feelings, and how to change the drivers of your life.   We also discuss some of the things we both learned throughout our long time with Tony Robbins.  Kim worked with Tony Robbins as a coach for many years, and over the years I immersed myself in Tony's teachings. I was part of his amazing platinum partners group (https://www.tonyrobbins.com/programs/platinum-partnerships) and the year that I joined Platinum Partners, I travelled 145 days in the year.   If you would like more information about Kim's coaching reach out to her here - Mindset With Kim Johnson (https://www.mindsetwithkim.com/) - Kim is amazing!! #stressinrealestate #selfhelprealestate #realestateagentstraining #realestatetraining #exp #exprealty #stress #expaustralia

Rebecca and I learned a lot about our urban forest and how to take care of our barked friends – not our barking friends. Which reminds me -- "Don't piss on our street tree" signs were passed out to our UWS neighbors -- along with buckets of mulch -- and donuts – and coffee. The event was sponsored by the West 80s Neighborhood Association – and we talked with two of its leaders. This week on Black & Published Nikesha speaks with Kim Johnson, author of the YA novel, Invisible Son. The book is set in Oregon during the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020. A setting Kim chose to bear witness to all that was happening while also balancing the trauma of that year with its triumphs as well. In our conversation, Kim readily admits that she came to writing late in life. She explains the feeling of being woken up out of her sleep to pursue a dream she never knew she had. Plus, how she used the specificity of niceness in the Pacific Northwest to infuse a more sinister plot into her novel. And how she really feels about being an author whose book is banned. Support the showFollow the Show: IG: @blkandpublished Twitter: @BLKandPublished Follow Me:IG: @nikesha_elise Twitter: @Nikesha_Elise Website: www.newwrites.com

Neighbours of a house where a 100-person brawl took place are shaken after a night of yelling, screaming and a heavy police presence. Two people died at a 21st birthday party in Gisborne on Saturday night, and three others are in hospital. The fight broke out after two unwelcome visitors arrived. Police say gang members were present, but it wasn't a gang conflict. Kim Johnson, who lives down the road, says he's noticed violence is increasing in the area. Johnson spoke to Corin Dann.

Kim Johnson visits us to talk about all things community, her trajectory and evolution in the space, the changes she witnessed in the last ten years in the industry, and where she sees community heading. She is the Head of Community at Geneva and one of the OGs of community building. Kim started as an editorial intern at Into The Gloss, tasted marketing and advertising for a while, and discovered her passion for community building at Glossier. In this episode, Kim explains how being painfully shy as a kid served her to develop her career many years later, entities' and creators' roles in community building, and why she believes not every brand needs a community. Plus, Kim dissects Geneva; what is it, who is it for, how to use it, which communities are the most successful in the platform, and so much more. Episode 162: Community can be defined as "a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals." Today's episode embodies this definition perfectly as Natalie welcomes Kim Johnson, Head of Community at Geneva, to discuss the power of online communities and how influencers, brands, and small businesses can build a network that will last the long term. Natalie and Kim discuss ways to create an authentic community that is both fun and a great marketing tool, and how evolution and innovation play a key role in successful online communities. Kim shares her views about the web-like nature of digital communities and how not every brand needs one (and that's OK!). She also provides insight into which brands are doing it right and why. For your own benefit, we encourage you to NOT take a shot every time the word "community" is said!    Today's episode dives into:    The how and why of community  Tips for brands and small businesses to build and nurture community  How to differentiate between a large following and a tight knit community   How to scale up as an influencer and set yourself apart in an online community    Thank you so much for being a part of our podcast community!
