Craig is currently serving on the US Congressionally Mandated “Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee” in Washington, DC. This committee was formulated by the Presidential signing of the Autism Cares Act. This committee gives advice and recommendations to Congress and the President regarding Federal activities related to autism spectrum disorder. He is the author of the book “Lead Vertically” Inspire People to Volunteer and Build Great Teams That Last, “Champion” How One Boy's Miraculous Journey Through Autism Is Changing the World, and “Unrehearsed Destiny” It's Intermission, Your Second Act Is Coming.” Craig & His wife Samantha co-wrote the children's book “You Are Extraordinary.” His greatest honor is husband to his wife of 33 years, Samantha, and father to Cory, Courtney, and Connor.

For over 34 years she served as an educator, administrator, and school psychologist in the public school system. She has been the Director of Special Education in two different districts. She has taught teacher preparation courses at California State University, Riverside. Dr. Sandy has trained educators, administrators, and parents in the areas of positive behavior techniques (including crisis intervention), teaching and learning strategies, resilience training in the face of trauma and other mental health challenges, and Special Education law, policies, and procedures. She brings her extensive experience in the field of special education to faith communities. Dr. Sandy is an inclusion specialist and wrote the first full-scale curriculum for Champion Club with Pastor Craig Johnson in 2014. She also co-authored the Champions Curriculum Home Edition in 2016. Incredibly Dr. Sandy, and a team of volunteers she trained, opened the first Champions Club on African soil. She has been married to Rob Robinson, the love of her life, for over 30 years and they have two amazing daughters and one grandchild, Abigail Joppa, with one on the way.

Pastor Craig Johnson is the Senior Director of Family Ministry at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church, which draws 40,000 weekly worshipers to its Houston, Texas arena, developed a ministry in 2008 for families with special needs children who find it challenging to attend church on a regular basis. The Houston location, which consists of an educational room, a physical therapy room and a sensory room, serves more than 300 special needs families every week. The program also provides spiritual therapy and a full Christian curriculum. The Champions Club was inspired and launched by Pastor Craig, who has an autistic son. Join Dave Nassaney, your host, as he helps caregivers who are burned out, but his most important role is being a caregiver to his lovely wife, Charlene. His latest book that he is now working on is entitled: "The Caregiver's Caregiver, A Guide to Avoiding Burnout." It is designed to teach caregivers who are taking care of their loved ones (due to an illness or disability) how to take care of themselves FIRST. If they don't learn this, they will likely suffer burnout and become as helpless as the person they are caring for. Tune in every Wednesday at noon PST,for interviews with experts in the caregiving field, as they discuss topics of great interest to caregivers, which will help them avoid burnout
