In Today's Episode, the first of 2022, we make our first entry into our "Spider-Month" Event here on 2 Man Comic Book Club, with "One More Day", a story that we feel has definite parallels to No Way Home. Spider-Man's identity revealed, the world is out to get him, and when one specific enemy puts Aunt May in the hospital, Peter Parker has to do everything he can to save her. This is quite a story arc, with an ending that just might break your heart. We strongly recommend you read the stories before listening. Also, this episode contains some slight spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home, so be warned. Writer(s) J. Our guest is one of the masters of comics. He is a Penciller, an inker, a colorist, an educator (he teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York and he's written "The DC Comics Guide to Pencilling Comics" and "The DC Comics Guide to Inking Comics"). You may know him because of his work in Daredevil, Batman, Punisher, his inks over John Romita Jr. in Thor and many other books, and much, much more. I am talking, of course, about the master KLAUS JANSON! We've talked about life, why comics keep bringing him back for more, his collaborations with other artists, but especially about the craft, the language, art, science and music as related to comics (yes, they are) and of course, he answered your questions, too, so thank you for participating! #DialogosdeComic #KlausJanson #Batman #Daredevil #Pencilling #Inking #Marvel #DCComics

It's Artists Month once again! Today we are stepping back and looking at the four traditional jobs artists have and how a comic artist can use them to do better comic art. This means looking at the penciller (he who does the roughs), the inker (he who takes it the finals), the colorist (master of tones of gray and color), and the letterer (ninja of the comic world), and how they communicate. We also look at the visual bible. Please support WCRI by pledging at our Patreon page (https://www.patreon.com/twosparrows).
