ReElement inks long-term rare earth offtake deal with POSCO International America to bolster supply

American Resources Corp CEO Mark Jensen joined Steve Darling to announce a major long-term offtake partnership with POSCO International America Corp, a global leader in steel, magnetic materials, and advanced industrial solutions. The collaboration will unite ReElement's cutting-edge chromatographic separation and purification platform with POSCO's deep expertise in materials science, large-scale deployment, and its extensive relationships across the global automotive and industrial supply chains. Together, the companies will work to establish a scalable, secure, and sustainable supply chain for high-purity rare earth elements, which are indispensable to defense, clean energy, electric vehicles, advanced semiconductors, and emerging AI-driven technologies. Jensen explained that the agreement reflects both companies' long-term commitment to developing resilient and transparent rare earth supply chains that meet the surging demand for critical minerals. As part of the partnership, ReElement and POSCO will form a joint taskforce dedicated to securing diverse global feedstock streams—including mixed rare earth concentrate, magnet manufacturing waste, and end-of-life scrap magnets—to ensure a reliable input pipeline for purification and refining. The offtake agreement includes an initial targeted supply of purified, separated rare earth oxides—specifically dysprosium, yttrium, terbium, and neodymium-praseodymium. The deal anticipates scaling production to over 3,000 metric tons through 2030, representing a transformative step toward meeting the world's growing demand for magnet-grade rare earth elements. Beyond its commercial significance, the partnership also reinforces the strategic alliance between the United States and the Republic of Korea, aligning with global efforts to reduce dependency on limited and politically sensitive supply sources. By securing stable access to rare earths, this initiative directly supports national defense readiness, clean energy independence, and the advancement of next-generation technologies that underpin modern economies. #proactiveinvestors #americanresourcescorporation #nasdaq #arec #SustainableMining, #MineralRefining, #RecyclingInnovation, #CriticalMinerals, #RareEarthRecycling, #EVRecycling, #BatteryRecycling, #princialminerals #adamjohnson #RareEarths #EWasteRecycling #ReElement #CriticalMinerals #SustainableTech #MagnetRecycling #TechInnovation #GreenSupplyChain #ElectrifiedMaterials

Send us a textIn this episode of the FuturePrint Podcast, we welcome back Martin Burns, who represents the OEM inks division at Nazdar. While Nazdar is widely recognised as one of the world's leading ink manufacturers, its OEM business plays a more behind-the-scenes but strategically vital role in shaping the future of industrial inkjet.Martin explains how the OEM group works closely with printer and printhead manufacturers, system integrators, and other partners across the inkjet ecosystem. Unlike the mainstream distribution side of the business, which follows a traditional product development cycle, the OEM division is about co-creation: embedding chemistry expertise into the earliest stages of hardware design. In many cases, Nazdar effectively becomes the “chemistry department” for its partners, providing direct access to R&D specialists and offering solutions that de-risk new product launches. The conversation highlights how agility and innovation underpin this approach. From ultra-high viscosity inks that unlock new industrial applications, to sustainability-driven solutions such as faster-drying water-based inks, Martin demonstrates how chemistry is enabling inkjet to enter new markets—from packaging and textiles to additive manufacturing and functional deposition.Looking ahead, Martin sees major opportunities in water-based packaging, functional coatings, and industrial manufacturing, where inkjet is increasingly valued not for decoration but for its ability to deposit precise fluids that make devices work.“We're not just selling ink. In many cases, we're acting as the chemistry department for our partners.” – Martin Burns, Nazdar OEM InksListen on:Apple PodcastGoogle PodcastSpotifyWhat is FuturePrint? This week on Magnolia Street, we turn the page, literally and metaphorically, to explore magickal inks! From the smoke-darkened chambers of ancient scribes to the secret pages of modern grimoires, these enchanted inks have inscribed spells, drawn talismans, and summoned unseen forces. In today's episode, we dive into the hidden history and esoteric significance of magical inks. We'll uncover ancient recipes with strange yet powerful ingredients, from oak gall to dragon's blood resin, and even blood… yes, real blood. We'll also explore the folklore of invisible inks that reveal themselves through fire or time. Whether used to protect, conceal, summon, or transform, magical inks remind us that words are more than marks on a page; they are living spells etched in liquid intention. Join us as we trace these extraordinary elixirs across cultures and centuries, from the laboratories of ancient alchemists to the desks of modern poets, and of course through the pages of the Owens family grimoire in Alice Hoffman's enchanting Practical Magic series! SOCIALS:Link TreePatreonInstagramHERO SOURCES DISCLAIMER:The Magnolia Street Podcast intends to discuss the movie, “Practical Magic” in its entirety. Lynne Parker exits White House following publication of AI plan; GSA inks deal with Box for discounted AI products

Two-time Trump administration vet Lynne Parker has exited as principal deputy director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy following the release of the administration's AI plan. In a LinkedIn post Tuesday, Parker said she was “passing the torch” and had fulfilled her mission of helping the Trump administration “hit the ground running,” citing the launch of AI innovation and education initiatives as well as drone-focused policy, and the administration's “gold standard” science initiative. She said she plans to return to her retirement in Tennessee. Parker joined the administration in January, working alongside OSTP Director Michael Kratsios. In addition to her OSTP title, she was also named executive director of the President's Council of Advisors for Science and Technology. Parker had returned to the current Trump administration after serving as deputy CTO and founding director of the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Office. The White House didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on her departure. In addition to Parker, OSTP senior policy advisor Dean Ball also recently announced he was leaving the White House following the release of the administration's anticipated AI Action Plan last month. Ball rejoined the Foundation for American Innovation, a technology-focused think tank formerly known as the Lincoln Network, as a fellow focused on AI policy and governance models for emerging technology. The cloud management company Box is the latest agency to strike a deal with the General Services Administration to offer its artificial intelligence services to the federal government at a fraction of the normal price. The GSA said in an announcement Wednesday that federal agencies can buy Box's Enterprise Plus for Government software for up to 75% off and the company's Enterprise for Advanced Government software discounted by up to 65% of the listed price for a year-long term. The announcement follows a series of other deals with major AI firms like OpenAI and Anthropic that aim to increase the use of AI across the federal government. Like the other OneGov collaborations, the GSA said Box's AI platform will help boost productivity at agencies, automate workflows and assist with tasks like document generation, e-signatures and forms. Stock-index futures climbed after the European Union struck a deal with President Donald Trump that will see the bloc face 15% tariffs on most exports, averting a potentially damaging trade war. S&P 500 contracts rose 0.4% and those for European stocks jumped 1%. The euro was slightly stronger against the dollar after the US-EU deal. Asian shares fluctuated at the open as Japanese equities declined 0.4%. Treasuries dipped slightly with yields on the 10-year gaining one basis point to 4.4%. Gold edged lower and oil was marginally higher. Investors are bracing for a busy week of data - including meetings of the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan - and earnings from megacap companies that could set the tone for the rest of the year in markets and the economy. Stocks have risen from their slump in April as investors speculate the US will strike trade deals with countries and that will help avoid significant damage to company earnings and the global economy. We preview the trading week ahead with Clark Geranen, Chief Market Strategist at CalBay Investments. Plus - Australia and the UK signed a landmark 50-year defense treaty on Saturday to underpin the construction of nuclear-powered submarines, senior ministers from both nations said. Both sides stressed that the treaty doesn't impact the AUKUS security partnership between Australia, the UK and the US - currently under review by the Trump administration. Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins attempted to assuage lawmakers' concerns Tuesday over how the agency plans to deliver critical health tech services amid drastic cuts to its workforce. Appearing before the Senate Appropriations Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Subcommittee, Collins said the VA is full steam ahead on planned deployments of its oft-troubled electronic health record at additional facilities, and is also pushing forward on the rollout of its External Provider Scheduling tool. The VA said in February that it had dismissed 1,000 employees, while the Associated Press reported in March that it planned to cut 80,000 staffers. The Oracle EHR system, meanwhile — plagued by technical problems since its launch during the first Trump administration — is scheduled to be deployed at 13 medical facilities by 2026. A suite of Elastic products will be discounted for agencies by up to 60% under a new deal announced Tuesday by the General Services Administration. The agreement, part of the GSA's OneGov strategy to modernize how the government purchases goods and services, will give agencies access to discounts of Elastic's self-managed solution starting at 27.5%, climbing to higher savings based on governmentwide annual spending. Stephen Ehikian, GSA's acting administrator, said in a press release that the pact “represents a significant step in our efforts to drive cost efficiencies and modernize IT infrastructure across the federal government.” Additionally, discounts start at 15% for FedRAMP Moderate cloud deployments via GovCloud, jumping to 32% at the top volume tier. The pricing options are locked in for orders made prior to Sept. 30, 2027. The Daily Scoop Podcast is available every Monday-Friday afternoon.
