Welcome back, everybody! Surprise JUGHEAD IS STILL ALIVE WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED IT! This whole episode is all about making the preppy kids spin out about not being able to frame Betty for their murder of Jughead and it almost works. Betty and Archie start to fake hookup behind Veronica's back, everyone we haven't seen in a while has some feelings, and Donna tells Brett to rip open the casket at a funeral. Follow us on the internet wherever you find rage about mediocre TV or email us about how convinced you were about Jughead's death. Have a great week, find joy where you can, blow some shit up, and don't hide under the bed while your best friend and girlfriend make out to trick people into thinking you're dead! In a return to the Married Life, Megan and Ezra discuss the drama around Pop Tate's and the soap opera vibes of Business Archie. Megan finishes off the episode by telling us about Archie Comics blatantly ripping off Richie Rich, and some much needed fruit context. Segments: Archie: The Married Life, Eat the Rich Digests: "Poor Little Rich Girl" Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #72, Betty and Veronica Annual #6, Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #1
There are only so many times we can say how terrible this 5-episode special event is, so this week's recap is a little short. But we still manage to cover each and every mind-boggling moment, from Pop Tate dropkicking the Devil out of the diner to Veronica's cringey musical performance (if there's one thing we can count on in both RiverDale and RiverVale, it's disappointing musical performances). Three down, two to go! Stay strong, people!
Welcome to Sex Archie: The Riverdale Recap Podcast This episode covers Chapter 98: Mr. Cypher by Greg Murray; directed by Jeff Woolnough Plenty of evil has come through town, but now it's Old Scratch himself. The Adversary, The Prince of Darkness, The Accuser, now known as the guy who got his ass kicked by Pop Tate. (Also Reggie dies in this one)
The Mothman cometh! Well, eventually. But until then, Riverdale seems to be spinning its wheels in “Fire In The Sky,” an episode largely muddled in busy work with just enough teases of the paranormal to leave us intrigued. Archie's on another crusade to save the town via firefighter, Veronica's got another harebrained scheme masked as an economics lesson, and Betty finds herself on the tail of another serial killer. Thankfully, Jughead and Tabitha's Mulder and Scully cosplay keeps things fresh, delivering both a rousing UFO-sighting flashback from Pop Tate and some hot alien gossip from Nana Rose. Nevertheless, our Riverdale podcast Dial M For Maple returns to recap it all, theorizing about Hiram's master plan and declaring our own winner of the HBIC dance-off. And, in this week's edition of The Blue & Gold, hosts Marah and Cameron wonder what kind of tunes super-bros KJ Apa and Hart Denton have been cooking up.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
If you thought Riverdale's seven-year time jump meant the end of high school drama, you were dead wrong. But, as this week's episode “Homecoming” proves, that's not such a bad thing. The CW series dives into—with gleeful abandon—the messy world of small-town politics and private schooling, while still making time for what Riverdale does best: Street gang shake-em-ups, steamy shower sex, and plenty of harebrained schemes. As ever, our podcast Dial M For Maple is on hand to break it all down, with hosts Marah and Cameron asking the important questions, like, “Just how old are Dagwood and Juniper supposed to be at this point?” and “If Riverdale High is low on funds, why does Toni have the most glamorous counselor's office we've ever seen?” And then, in the latest edition of The Blue & Gold, we pay tribute to Alvin Sanders—best known as the show's Pop Tate—by digging deep into his delightfully bird-heavy Instagram feed.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Archie'ego, Betty, Veronicę i Jughead w rolach nauczycieli.
Happy Valentine's Day! On this episode of THE RIVERDALE REGISTER, John and Kaitlin talk Pop Tate, TBK, and why Fangs, Kevin, and Toni are the ideal parenting triad.
Our final trip in the Wayback Machine finds us at the beloved Chok'lit Shoppe, with the ever welcoming Pop Tate! Original Description: Megan and Ezra visit a beloved friend of Archie and the gang, our very own Terry "Pop" Tate. Take a glimpse into the soda fountain that inspired Pop's Chok'lit Shoppe, and remember a harrowing close of when Pop almost closed his doors for good. Tanner comes by to try and piece together the history of Riverdale. We focus a little too much on genocide and not enough time on the unknown riots Pop Tate mentions. We also accidentally discover maple syrup urine disease and where in the country you can just tap a tree for sugar. Betty is done with Jughead’s nonsense and rounds up the other children of the Midnight club to do some classic Betty’s-Bad-Investigating™ and ask their parents for clues about who killed Featherhead. Reggie gets a black eye and Marty Mantle gain a lead in the run for Worst Parent of Riverdale. Jughead sounds absolutely insane talking with Betty about how everything is a quest and everything is connected. He is probably right that it is a larger game, but he could be less of a prat about it (really with the bowing Jughead? Really?) At the next fight a wig-clad Veronica managed to sneak in and see Archie, he is not interested in talking and just wants to fuck. Archie notes he could maybe escape out the large drain that could fit five children easily. With the help of smoke bombs he does just that after getting stabbed/kissed and fighting the not-dead Mad Dog. Oh and it turns out the Warden was also playing G&G Mari and Caitlin then name basically everyone in the show as possible Gargoyle King, from Hermione to Fred, from Pop Tate to Clifford Blossom. "A lot of emotions, great view:" that's right, it's The Bughead Episode™ Listen to Rebecca and Maria talk about the most dramatic confirmation ceremony the Catholic Church would never allow, defend Pop Tate's honor, and have a straight up #screechfest about all the BUGHEAD! (Spoilers inside; watch the ep first!) feat. a couple observations by our friend Aminta Dawson. "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a poutine-loving gangster." A particularly dynamic Riverdale introduces Archie to the world of crime, "confirms" that Veronica's in over her head, and properly reunites Bughead—and that's all before Hiram's life is threatened for letting Pop Tate serve curd-less poutine! It's a wild one. Dial M For Maple dissects it all, including that shocking final scene, and Chic's suspiciously familiar visitor from the Bijou. Plus, Marah and Cameron realize how wrong they were about that upcoming musical episode. Oh well, karma's a bitch! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
