Andrew Huberman takes it. Peter Attia has been talking about it for years. Every serious longevity researcher has an opinion on it. And by age 40 to 60, your levels have already dropped by 50%. NAD+ is one of the most important molecules in your body. It powers energy production in every cell, repairs DNA damage every single day, and activates the cellular pathways that regulate aging, inflammation, and metabolic function. The biology is not hype. But the way most people are taking it right now almost guarantees it is doing nothing. And Dr. G is done watching people waste their money on the wrong molecule in the wrong form at the wrong dose. In this episode, you will learn: • Why you cannot raise your cellular NAD+ levels by swallowing NAD+ directly, what happens to the molecule in your digestive tract, and the precursors that actually work • The clinical research on NR vs NMN, which one has more published human trial data, which one the longevity research community is most excited about, and why sublingual delivery changes everything • Why the serving sizes on most NAD+ labels are set to make the price look reasonable rather than match the research, and what a therapeutic dose actually looks like Plus the specific brands Dr. G uses and trusts, and how to test your own intracellular NAD+ levels before and after to see if your stack is actually working. Drag by 2 PM? In this Supplement Ingredient Series episode, Nurse Doza breaks down NAD+, the coenzyme your cells use to make energy (ATP), and why levels dip with age and stress. He explains how NAD+ injections at home through SHED's provider-guided telehealth program offer a convenient way to support steady all-day energy, sharper focus, and less brain fog. Try it with code DOZA40 for 40% off. Featured Partner: SHED SHED is a telehealth provider that ships physician-reviewed NAD+ at-home injection kits, so you can keep a consistent NAD+ routine without booking a clinic IV drip — exactly the kind of convenient, repeatable protocol Nurse Doza describes in this episode. Always follow the dosing and technique guidance from your SHED provider.
«auf-hören» – so lautete das Motto der diesjährigen, 30. Ittinger Pfingstkonzerte.

Amen.

NAD+ is one of the most critical molecules in your body — essential for energy production, DNA repair, brain function, metabolism, and healthy aging. And after menopause, your levels drop significantly. The result is fatigue that sleep doesn't fix, brain fog that won't lift, and a body that stopped responding the way it used to. But here is what most women — and most doctors — don't know: supplementing without testing is guesswork. In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Jin-Xiong She, founder of Jinfiniti Precision Medicine and one of the world's leading NAD+ researchers, to talk about why intracellular NAD+ testing is the only way to know where your levels actually are — and what to do about it. About Dr. Jin-Xiong She: Dr. Jin-Xiong She is the founder and CEO of Jinfiniti Precision Medicine and a Distinguished Research Professor at Augusta University. He has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed scientific publications, secured over $100 million in research funding, and holds multiple patents in precision medicine and metabolic health. His work on intracellular NAD+ testing has made him one of the most important voices in longevity and cellular health science today. In this episode: Why NAD+ declines so dramatically after menopause What low NAD+ actually feels like in your body The difference between intracellular testing and guessing NR versus NMN — what the science actually says How to dose correctly based on your results Why most women are supplementing wrong This is not another supplement conversation. This is precision medicine for midlife women.

How CD38, PARP, and Leaky Gut Are Destroying Your NAD Levels | Dr. Andrew Salzman Your NAD is being drained by two hidden enzymes, your gut may be the starting point of every aging process in your body, and creatine does something to your mitochondria that has nothing to do with muscle. This episode rewrites what you thought you knew about longevity, anti-aging biology, and how your body actually produces and delivers energy at the cellular level. -Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR -Explore all of Wonderfeel's products at: getwonderfeel.com/dave They are gifting a complimentary 7-day Youngr™ supply (mini pouch) with every order across any of their products. The code will be DAVE, and the campaign will be active through June 6th. Host Dave Asprey sits down with Dr. Andrew Salzman, a physician, inventor, and biomedical entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in drug discovery and development. An alumnus of Harvard Medical School, Yale University, and Columbia University, Dr. Salzman has authored more than 170 scientific publications and holds 50 patents. He invented the original clinical-stage PARP-1 inhibitor, leading to the world's first clinical treatment for raising NAD levels and fighting cancers caused by the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. Genentech licensed his breakthrough technology for $600 million. His research into gastrointestinal microbiota, autoimmune disease, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial ATP production now forms the foundation of how millions of patients get treated worldwide. Dr. Salzman names the two biggest NAD drains in your body, CD38 and PARP, and explains why taking NMN or NR alone is like filling a bathtub with the drain wide open. He breaks down the formulation science behind pairing NAD precursors with CD38 blockers like hydroxytyrosol alongside PARP-reducing antioxidants like ergothioneine, and delivers a paradigm-shifting explanation of creatine as an energy distribution network inside your cells. Rather than a simple muscle supplement, creatine acts as a high-speed ATP shuttle that carries energy from your mitochondria to the precise location and moment your brain, gut, and heart need it most. You'll Learn: Why NAD declines with age and which two enzymes are primarily responsible for draining it How CD38 rises with inflammation rather than NAD levels, and what that means for your supplement strategy Why creatine is one of the most underrated anti-aging and brain optimization supplements available How creatine functions as a spatial and temporal energy delivery network for your brain, gut, and heart Why the gut may be the origin point of the entire aging process and how that cascade unfolds decade by decade How leaky gut drives systemic inflammation, crashes NAD, and accelerates biological aging throughout the body What controls tight junction integrity and how ATP, butyrate, creatine, and fasting all play a role Why most creatine supplements fail to absorb properly and what to look for in a high-quality source How to rebuild your microbiome in three to four weeks through diet alone, without antibiotics Why walking immediately after a meal may be doing more harm than good to your gut lining Thank you to our sponsors! - Screenfit | Get your at-home eye training program for 40% off using code DAVE at https://www.screenfit.com/dave. - KILLSwitch | If you're ready for the best sleep of your life, order now at https://www.switchsupplements.com/and use code DAVE for 20% off - Pique | Go to Piquelife.com/dave for 20% off. - iRestore | Reverse hair loss at www.irestore.com/DAVE and get exclusive savings on the iRestore Elite, use code DAVE Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. - Andenna, Giancarlo. Brain fog, anxiety, low mood and memory slips are often brushed off as “stress” or “menopause” until life starts shrinking. We sit down with degree-qualified functional nutritionist Jo Greben to challenge that story and unpack a more useful lens: brain health as a bioenergetic problem where mitochondria, inflammation and fuel supply shape how well we think, feel and sleep.Jo shares what pulled her into dementia prevention and cognitive optimisation, including the impact of family history, brain injury, and seeing reversal-focused research that pushes beyond the outdated “nothing can be done” narrative. We talk about why genetics like ApoE4 raise risk but don't write your future, and why a proper assessment has to look at hormones, toxins, gut-brain signalling, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation and the small details that most rushed consults miss. You'll also hear practical prevention strategies you can start early: better sleep hygiene, smarter exercise with strength training, protein needs in perimenopause and menopause, and how to have a better conversation with your GP about tests that matter such as homocysteine, B vitamins, vitamin D and high-sensitivity CRP. We finish with clinician-loved tools that support calm and cognition, including saffron, L-theanine, creatine and nicotinamide riboside (NR), plus a case study where addressing mould exposure helped reverse a frightening cognitive trajectory. If you care about dementia prevention, mental health, cognitive resilience and healthy ageing, hit play, share this with a friend who's been dismissed, and subscribe so you don't miss what's next. In today's episode, we welcomed Luhua (Michael) Wang, MD, to discuss the implications of the full FDA approval of brexucabtagene autoleucel (Tecartus; brexu-cel) for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). Dr Wang is a professor in the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma in the Division of Cancer Medicine, as well as a professor in the Department of Stem Cell Transplantation at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. On April 2, 2026, the FDA granted traditional approval to brexu-cel based on data from the phase 2 ZUMA-2 trial (cohorts 1 and 2, NCT02601313; cohort 3, NCT04880434), with confirmatory data from cohort 3 showing that patients naive to a BTK inhibitor experienced an overall response rate (ORR) of 91% (95% CI, 82.5%-95.9%), a complete response (CR) rate of 79% (95% CI, 69.0%-87.1%), and a median duration of response (DOR) that was not reached (NR; 95% CI, 26.2 months-not evaluable).Dr Wang detailed the evolution of therapies in the MCL treatment paradigm, leading up to the approval of brexu-cel and the integration of CAR T-cell therapy. Along with highlighting the evolution of MCL management, Dr Wang explained how data from cohort 3 of ZUMA-2 add further context to the role of CAR T-cell therapy in the treatment paradigm and how it may affect treatment sequencing considerations.

Full Show Notes: https://bengreenfieldlife.com/nadplus In this fascinating episode, Dr. Nichola Conlon, molecular biologist and founder of Nuchido, breaks down what NAD actually is, what it does inside your cells, and why most popular strategies for boosting it, including NAD IVs, patches, and high-dose NR or NMN, may be fundamentally flawed based on molecular biology. You’ll discover why NAD declines by half every 20 years, why the NAMPT enzyme and not a shortage of raw material is the real bottleneck, and why flooding the body with precursors without fixing the salvage pathway can actually strain your methylation pathways rather than raise NAD. You’ll also explore how inflammation through the cluster of differentiation 38 (CD38) enzyme silently drains NAD faster than almost anything else, what a gold standard double-blind placebo-controlled crossover clinical trial on Nuchido TIME+ actually showed, and why NAD sits at the intersection of energy production, cellular repair, sleep, skin health, and biological aging. Dr. Nichola Conlon (BSc, MRes, PhD) specializes in cellular aging. After a career in drug development, Dr. Nichola founded Nuchido, driven by her belief that cutting-edge science should not lie hidden. At Nuchido, Dr. Nichola’s work focuses on delivering disruptive innovation in the field of anti-aging, rejuvenation, and healthspan. It has led to the development of Nuchido TIME+, a dietary supplement clinically proven to boost NAD+ and reverse biological age. Unlike standard precursors such as NMN or NR, Nuchido TIME+ uses a systems-based approach to target the root causes of NAD+ decline.
Welcome to the latest episode of LIFTS, your bite-sized dose of the Latest Industry Fitness Trends and Stories. In this episode, hosts Matthew Januszek and Mohammed Iqbal explore one of the most talked-about topics in modern wellness: NAD and the rapid rise of longevity therapies. Joined by Rachele Pojednic, Chief Science Officer at Restore Hyper Wellness, the conversation breaks down what NAD actually is, how it functions within the body, and why it has become such a focal point in energy, recovery, and healthy aging. As wellness clinics, IV therapies, and performance treatments continue to grow in popularity, NAD has emerged as a central molecule in the conversation around optimisation and longevity. However, as interest increases, so too does the gap between consumer awareness, scientific understanding, and real-world application. The discussion explores the biology behind NAD, including its role in cellular energy production, metabolism, and DNA repair, while also examining the different forms of NAD and its precursors, such as NR and NMN. Matthew and Mo share their own experiences with NAD therapies, opening up a broader discussion around delivery methods, perceived benefits, and the difference between anecdotal outcomes and evidence-based practice. As the conversation develops, Rachel highlights the importance of understanding not just the therapy, but the underlying molecule, and why factors such as dosage, delivery method, and cellular transport play a critical role in determining effectiveness. The episode also addresses the wider challenges within the wellness industry, including the speed at which new therapies are being adopted, the influence of biohacking culture, and the growing need for scientific validation and safety data. For operators, this episode provides valuable insight into both the opportunities and responsibilities associated with integrating longevity and wellness services into fitness environments. In this episode, we cover: What NAD is and how it works in the body Why NAD levels decline with age The rise of NAD and wellness clinics The difference between NAD, NR, and NMN Why delivery method and molecule selection matter The gap between wellness hype and scientific evidence Safety considerations, dosage challenges, and unknowns
We're excited to share another episode in our podcast series featuring heavily vetted companies. Today, I'm delighted to connect with Baran Dilaver. Baran is an entrepreneur, creator, and accomplished executive, and also the co-founder of Wonderfeel Biosciences, a longevity-focused bioscience company that pioneers cellular health innovations through its patented NAD products. (You will likely remember the dynamic interview I did last year with Dr. Andrew Salzman, the MD and Chief Medical Officer of Wonderfeel.) In today's conversation, Baran and I explore the science of cellular energy and its wide-ranging benefits. We cover the physiology of NAD and other nutraceuticals, the key markers of inflammation, and the precursors in Wonderfeel's formulas that enhance absorption and assimilation. We discuss how NAD and creatine monohydrate each fuel cellular energy, their powerful synergistic effects, and the NAD-creatine combination as a powerful midlife stack. We also get into brain fog, mood, and stress resilience, along with the FDA's clarification on NMN and other nutraceuticals, and why NAD injections and IV NAD may fall short compared to oral precursors like NMN and NR. I also share my experience trying Wonderfeel's newest product, Choco Creatine. You won't miss this in-depth conversation with Baran Dilaver of Wonderfeel, as he shares his expert perspective on NAD and creatine monohydrate supplementation. IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN: What recent research from Harvard and MIT has shown about the benefits of increasing NAD levels Why NAD is so essential Baran describes how reduced NAD affects each organ differently How inflammation becomes a key signal of declining NAD levels Why precursors like NMN and NR are necessary for increasing intracellular NAD levels What led Baran to explore how to make NAD compounds more accessible to consumers? How NAD and creatine work synergistically to improve brain and gut functioning How compromised gut integrity drains our energy and forces the body into “overdrive.” Baran outlines the complexities of product development Why ingredients like resveratrol and hydroxytyrosol are included in the Wonderfuel NAD formula Bio: Baran Dilaver Baran is an entrepreneur, creator, and an accomplished executive. He is the Co-founder of Wonderfeel Biosciences, a longevity-focused biosciences company that pioneers cellular health innovations through its patented NAD products. Did you know that the molecule behind the pink color of salmon and the red of flamingos is also one of the most potent antioxidants ever studied? It has 4,000 peer reviewed papers behind it. Based on studies, it extended lifespan by 12% in the most rigorous government funded study ever conducted. But almost nobody has heard of it. Astaxanthin is not a trend or a buzzword but a potent natural antioxidant waiting to be discovered by many. It is a marine-derived substance that is thousands of times more potent than vitamin C, crosses the blood brain barrier, and does what no other antioxidant on the market can. Dave Watumull has been working with astaxanthin since high school, watching microalgae turn bright red in the Hawaiian sun as a defense mechanism against UV light. He has spent 25 years figuring out how to bring it to the rest of us. In this episode of Habits and Hustle, Dave breaks down why your supplement stack is missing the one foundational ingredient that makes everything else work better and why it stayed hidden for so long. The most powerful antioxidant in the world was never hidden. It just never had a celebrity behind it. Let's dive in! What's Discussed: (1:43) The marine super nutrient most people have never heard of. (4:04) How microalgae in Hawaii sparked 25 years of research. (5:46) Why something this powerful stayed under the radar. (8:14) What makes it thousands of times stronger than vitamin C. (13:18) The supplement mistake most people are silently making. (20:54) The cheapest beauty hack nobody is talking about. (26:16) The Harvard study that proved no other antioxidant compares. (41:39) NR, resveratrol, green tea, omega-3s on extending lifespan. (42:06) Why most longevity supplements are mostly nonsense. (46:35) Why AX3® absorbs three times more than leading competitors. (1:02:42) Dave's father late 70s case study, tennis in the Hawaiian sun, still going. (1:17:24) What astaxanthin cannot do and the boring truth about longevity. Thank you to our sponsors!
