For more delicious news, go to www.GoodNewsGoodPlanet.com, and scroll to bottom for more ways to find the feel good stuff!* ROMAN THE RESCUER Roman McConn of Augusta, Georgia is not your typical seven-year-old. Every weekend, he visits animal shelters with his mother where he gets to know unwanted pets. He then makes videos with them and uses the internet to introduce the animals to potential owners, urging people to adopt them. The idea started in 2016 when Roman was just 4 years old, and he noticed dogs in need of adoption outside of a PetSmart and wanted to do something more. That "something more" has grown into ‘Project Freedom Ride’, an organization that rescues pets from high-kill shelters in Texas and Georgia, and matches them to forever homes in the Pacific Northwest. The process from kill-shelter to final placement typically takes about a month. Local rescue groups pull at-risk animals from kill-shelters and collect strays off the streets. The animals are then placed in foster care and put through health and behavior assessments to ensure that they're fit to adopt. Once cleared, they can be matched to loving homes through direct adoption, or transferred to no-kill shelters in the northwest. Funded entirely by donations, Project Freedom Ride spends $25,000 a month transporting dogs across the country. So far, over 1500 dogs and over 50 cats have been saved. Every single animal Roman has made a video with has been adopted, including one guinea pig named "Nibbles." Roman was recently recognized by the SPCA as "Kid of the Year." He was also a guest on the Ellen show, where he received a $20,000 donation. Roman is very optimistic. "I want to get every dog in the world adopted," he said. "I think we might be able to do it in the next 15 years or so." While a dog may be known as man’s best friend, we now know, that a homeless dog’s best friend, is a kid named Roman. #### *Hungry for more of the Good Stuff? Memorial Day Special Edition of the Dudes From Dallas.  President Trump makes an ass of himself on Twitter, which doesn't shock Rob Rotten.  A rich old man gets away with raping a five-year-old girl and the Dudes contemplate what they would do if they were the girl's father.  Nick Vicious gets his interview with Roman, the six year old saving animals with his mom and Project Freedom Ride. Animals are an important part of so many people's lives and the Dudes want to highlight something positive in a world filled with negativity.  Jobs that attract psychopaths ... and guess what, media is on the list meaning you're listening to two potential psychos.  Rob Rotten talks about wanting a surgeon that will whip his junk out saying "I got this."  Keith Olbermann returning to ESPN ... again.  Nick and Rob share sports play by play stories.   Devin Nunes busted in a winery drug prostitution ring, and Nick says it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.  Developers are looking to build a big ass ferris wheel south of downtown Dallas and the last thing we'd want to do is take a 38 minute ride in this summer heat.  In New York, a loser 30-year-old man is ordered by the court to move out of his parents' home.  Nick launches an anti-milk campaign and Rob goes on the attack against superfoods.  The Three Seashells from Demolition Man origin is revealed and it doesn't work like you would hope.   Universal Studios planning a Star Trek land to rival Star Wars Land.  This week's great debate has the dudes sparring over who's the best Batman ... and Nick Vicious almost gets stabbed for saying George Clooney.  Rob breaks down some actresses who regret getting naked on screen.  What they don't realize is most of us are grateful for what they showed off.  Recess is being found to be great for developing better learning skills in children.  The show ends with a funny fail, a man gets caught driving a Ford Mustang with a number 3 written on the door.   Loot Crate and Gamefly are now sponsors of the show, so go show them some love and get stuff you want and love. We're finally doing a show after Rob's MacBook finally finished updating.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott needs to be pushed out of his wheelchair, while Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has the gay face.  Mrs. Rotten hangs out in studio and enlightens the dudes to a muppet movie featuring muppets having sex and jizzing silly string all over the walls.  A jilted  man wins the lottery and immediately dumps thousands of pounds of manure on his former boss' lawn.  Starbucks will now allow you to hang out in their stores without buying anything.  Katy ISD Superintendent resigns and gets a huge severance, despite being a total douchebag.  With the depressing news out there, we take a moment to focus on Project Freedom Ride and a six-year-old boy Roman working to help rescue animals.  Donald Trump gets an honor for his freakishly small hands.  Octopussies (or is it Octopi) are aliens apparently.  Radio nut job Alex Jones storms Google with some unknown dickbag.  Loot Crate and Gamefly join the show as sponsors.
