This episode shows a conscious way to find safe harbor in the midst of storms, wherever you may be. It is an exercise in self-awareness and self-acceptance. Episode 9 Show Notes Hello, my name is Roxanne Darling, and this is In The Transition podcast. Today is episode 9 and I'm doing a deep dive into the topic of safety. This is the issue we face when times seem out of control and confusing, even at times frightening. The Transition in Conscious has some insights here that have helped me relieve anxiety and understand the starting point for feeling safe. Much like the lighthouse image I'm using for the podcast cover art, the short answer is that when the waves are crashing around me, I go inside, to a metaphorical lighthouse to create calm and get a larger view of what's happening 'out there.' This is my first interview episode. I love talking to people about the Transition in Consciousness and how to use the ideas in practical, on the ground ways. My guest is Bridget Hinman - the Fairy Liaison at Unicorn Square on Maui. We actually recorded this almost a year ago; the messages are as timely as ever. Find Bridget here: Website: UnicornSquare.com Instagram: @UnicornSquare Twitter: @UnicornSquare Episode 8 Show Notes Hello, my name is Roxanne Darling, and this is In the transition podcast. Today is episode eight and I'm having a conversation with Bridget Henman from Unicorn Square. If this is your first time listening, please visit my website inthetransition.com, to learn more. You can also tweet or Instagram me @roxannedarling. In today's episode, you have the immense pleasure of meeting my friend Bridget, who is the fairy liaison at Unicorn Square on Maui. How's that for a job title? The mission of her company is to cultivate self acceptance, gratitude and being in nature. She shares some very unusual, and for me, mind blowing tips about dealing with children who are acting up and we talk a lot about the adult, the kid and the soul you link to my ebook on the three us in the show notes. We take some of the fantasy gloss the kids have about what it means to be divine and explore practical ways that we as adults can tap into more consciousness and personal power. So let's have a listen and enjoy the birds singing in the background. ——————————— The full transcript is on my website: https://inthetransition.com/2019/05/episode-8-you-are-amazing/ ——————————— Be in touch! The recent environmental disasters have caused so much loss for so many. I wrote this guided meditation as a way of connecting with those I cannot directly assist and to provide them a short and soothing message. Please share with anyone you think could benefit. SHOW NOTES: Here is a transcript of the guided meditation in this episode. This meditation is dedicated to those dealing with loss. I realize I know nothing of your situation. I am clueless and ignorant of your struggles. And yet I his I can offer this. May you find unlimited open-minded thinking and open-hearted loving, that these things can orient you in times of futility, that they may be the tiniest start of new things to come, that they may feed the part of you that feels hopeless and forever lost. This is painful ‘now.” But it is only now. New moments are forming, most we cannot see or even feel yet. But they are there. This moment of now is changing, too. Breathing in, and breathing out. Breathing in, and breathing out. Even if the air itself is foul, the tiniest and calmest of breaths is a reminder you are still here. Even though you may have doubts about wanting to be here. Even though you may have lost friends, you may have lost family, you may have lost personal belongings. This is the phase of ‘nothing makes any sense.’ It will give way to another phase, and things will start to make sense, in time. May you feel the open-minded thinking and the open-hearted loving I send to you. May your heart provide a home for you in times of loss and confusion. May your spirit be lifted even when your hopes are down. May you find some peace in the midst of the pain you find yourself in. May the cracks let in the light and bring unimaginable changes for you. May you find some rest in moments large and small. May you remember that all beings are divine. May you trust in your own strengths and take solace in knowing you are loved. May you know that I am thinking of you, caring for you, doing things for you, even though you may not see or feel it. May you trust in your own strengths and take solace in knowing you are loved.
