Building Customer Loyalty Through Experience and Community Shep interviews Sujay Saha, founder and CEO of Cortico-X. He talks about how aligning customer experience with pricing and expectations drives value. This episode of Amazing Business Radio with Shep Hyken answers the following questions and more: What is return on experience (ROX) and how can businesses measure it? How can businesses match customer expectations to pricing? How does blending creativity and data improve customer service strategies? What steps can companies take to minimize friction in the customer journey? How does building customer communities foster brand loyalty? Top Takeaways: The higher the price, the higher the expectation. However, this does not automatically mean more products or more features. To create amazing experiences that provide value, brands need to understand what truly matters to their customers. Every customer looks for a specific kind of value, whether it is convenience, quality, community, or something else. Understand the value that your customers are looking for and design your experiences to meet (or even exceed) these expectations. Memorable experiences are not always expensive. They are often simple, timely, or personal. Offering a free car cleaning service at an auto repair shop or designing a seamless airline boarding system can add extra value to customer interactions. Customers love connecting with others who share their experience. By cultivating communities, brands can provide memorable, shareable experiences that create loyalty and a sense of belongingness. Customers don't just compare you to similar businesses. They compare you to the best experiences they have ever had, regardless of industry, product, or price point. The real competition is every amazing experience. The return on experience (ROX) should be both actionable and accountable. Leaders must examine the root drivers behind customer experiences and use them as a guide on where to direct their investments. Then measure these investments to see whether they translate into the desired outcomes, such as increased loyalty or brand advocacy. Plus, Shep and Sujay share real-world examples of organizations that are reaping the returns of delivering exceptional customer experience. Tune in! Quote: "Don't just consider the cost of experiences, but also think about how much loyalty you can create (with that investment), which can turn into future sales." About: Sujay Saha is the Founder and CEO of Cortico-X, known for advancing experience-led strategies and pioneering ROX (Return on Experience) for Fortune 500 companies. For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys establish why the players missed out on Friday’s show before they preview the matchup the Avalanche face in the Western Conference Finals. Stink also missed out on the Broncos schedule reaction on Friday so the guys get his reaction to the Broncos’ tough early slate. Was the murderer’s row in the first 6 games a conspiracy against Sean Payton like Colin Cowherd thinks? They look ahead to set a roadmap for the Nuggets’ path back to the Finals after the MVP race results came out. What’s Trending? SGA entering rarified air, too many blowouts in the NBA, NBA Finals predictions, the Stokley good luck totem, the Rox cooling off, and Stink tries to decode some Gen Z slang.

Hoe gaat ie eigenlijk heten? Hallelujah?
If Peter's readers were Gentiles would they have recognised and understood the Old Testament references? Rox mentioned emperor worship. Was this just propaganda or more? Peter says that those who rejected Jesus were destined to do so. Is this referring to predestination?
0:00 - David Adelman said he doesn't want to "crush" his guys after losses, even thought that's what the media/fans want him to do. We don't need him to go full Bobby Knight on his locker. But hold your guys accountable! Get them fired up! Let's go! What's wrong with tough love if you guys are receptive to it?14:02 - Are the...Rox good again? You know who's definitely good? Sugano. Man, he's been wheelin' and dealin' all season long. Now that we've had a day or so to process Bo Nix AnkleGate 2.0, do we feel any different? Learn how to prove customer experience ROI by measuring Return on Experience, customer retention, referrals, earned sales growth, complaints, and loyalty. Summary: Customer experience leaders are facing a new reality: it is no longer enough to say customer experience matters. Executives want proof. In this episode of the Customer Service Revolution Podcast, Denise Thompson and John DiJulius discuss why CX leaders are being asked to connect experience initiatives directly to business outcomes like retention, referrals, loyalty, complaints, customer effort, close ratios, and revenue growth. John explains why customer satisfaction is too low of a bar, why NPS and surveys alone do not tell the full story, and why organizations need a clear Return on Experience dashboard to prove the financial impact of customer experience. He also breaks down why journey mapping often fails, how inconsistency damages brand trust, and why broken handoffs quietly cost companies revenue. The episode gives customer experience leaders a practical way to move from "warm and fuzzy" to measurable, executive-level business impact. Key Takeaways 1. Customer satisfaction is too low of a bar Satisfied customers are not necessarily loyal. They may simply be customers who were not frustrated enough to complain. Leaders need to measure whether customers are staying, buying again, referring others, and spending more. 2. CX leaders need to prove financial impact Customer experience competes for budget against sales, marketing, IT, AI, and other departments. If CX leaders cannot show measurable business outcomes, they risk being viewed as optional. 3. Return on Experience should be measured clearly A strong ROX dashboard should connect CX efforts to business metrics such as retention, referrals, complaints, close ratios, first-contact resolution, customer effort score, reviews, and average annual spend. 4. Journey mapping fails when it only captures operations Most journey maps focus on standard operating procedures. The real opportunity is adding experiential standards, identifying service defects, improving handoffs, and creating above-and-beyond moments. 5. Inconsistency quietly destroys trust When the customer experience depends on which employee, department, or location a customer reaches, the brand becomes unpredictable. John calls this "employee roulette." 6. Handoffs are where CX is won or lost Customers and employees should not have to restart the relationship every time they move from one person or department to another. Warm handoffs create continuity and trust. 7. Earned sales growth may be one of the best CX metrics Tracking how much revenue comes from repeat customers and referrals gives companies a clearer view of whether the experience is actually driving loyalty and growth. In the final hour, Dover and Cecil were joined by Will Petersen on what he learned from the Avs at practice today. How did Martin Necas perform in Round 1 against the Kings? The fellas discussed why George Paton hasn't signed an extension with the Broncos yet. The guys recapped last night's Rockies loss to the Reds. Did the Rox strikeout too much? Closing out the show, the fellas heard from Nazem Kadri saying he wishes that Dallas and Minnesota go 8-9 games in their series.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this episode of the Asian Soup Podcast, Jules and Rox are back with a fun, slightly chaotic chat asking the question… are they basic? From matcha lattes and Crocs to trendy water bottles and journaling, they go through all the things they've probably been influenced by. What starts off as a light, rapid-fire convo turns into a real talk about social media, trends, and figuring out if they actually like something or if they've just seen it one too many times online.Come sit with us for a light catch-up and come judge us... are we basic?
0:00 - Jaden McDaniels called out the Nuggets and their lack of defense. He named names! It's still hard to believe he did that. The Nuggets HAVE to answer the bell tonight. If they lose tonight, that's a wrap on the series. Prove your mental toughness. Take care of business. After that, the Rockies won last night! They're up to 10 wins already! Let's give Brett a couple minutes for some Rox positivity.14:51 - Vic is having trouble focusing on the Avs vs Kings series. Because in his mind, it's already over. There's no way LA wins this series. Plus, we're so caught up in the Nuggets vs Timberwolves series. What happens if Denver loses tonight? What happens if they, god forbid, lose this series? Where do we go from there? 32:26 - Oh, by the way...A Mariners pitcher caught a line drive inside his jersey. And the batter was awarded a base hit. I'm sorry, I thought this was America! That should be a hit. Oh, by the way...get ready to buy a 2nd or 3rd TV in order to watch all the different playoff games across various streaming apps. Oh, by the way...the Cleveland Cavaliers have introduced the most unhinged form of in-arena entertainment we've seen in a long time.
Dover and Cecil opened the show reacting to the Avs getting an OT win over the Kings last night to go up 2-0 in the series. Cecil talked about how much he's liked Scott Wedgewood in net so far in the playoffs. The guys came up with another name that they would love for the Broncos in this weekend's NFL Draft. How well did Chase Dollander pitch last night against the Padres. Do the Rox need to get their bats going at Coors Field?
We break down the Colorado Rockies surprisingly decent start to the 2026 season after back-to-back wins over the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers. Chase Dollander has his best start in MLB, Mickey Moniak goes off at the plate, and did the Rox win a game because of a successful ABS challenge? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. 0:00 - The Nuggets wrapped up the regular season with a casual 12-game win streak. NBD. Give credit to the bench, man. They looked GREAT this weekend. Yesterday, they were playing a Spurs team that actually wanted/needed to win! Sure, Wemby wasn't playing, but the rest of the roster is stacked too! And the Nuggets B Team answered the bell. That's a great sign.14:54 - Rory McIlroy won his second straight Masters. He became the 4th golfer ever to go back-to-back at Augusta. But, he also said he's been practicing at Augusta a lot. He'll drop his daughter off at school, fly a private jet to Augusta, get a few rounds in, head home, then have dinner with his family. Is that an unfair advantage? Should Augusta limit the number of times you can play there before the Masters? Also, Aqib Talib said on his podcast that the Broncos might be making another big move this offseason...keep your eyes peeled on draft night...He was right about them getting another offensive weapon! Could he be right on this one as well?34:10 - Oh, by the way...like 3 seconds after our show wrapped up on Friday, the Walton-Penner Group purchased a 40% minority ownership stake in the Rockies. Woah! What does that mean for the Rox? Oh, by the way...are we really still making golfers manually write down their scores on a scorecard? It's 2026, man. Oh, by the way...Mike Vrabel isn't attending the Patriots pre-draft press conference. Shocker.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In the final hour, Dover and Cecil recapped the Nuggets win over the Spurs. How good was Christian Braun shooting the three-ball? Cecil explained why he still wants more Julian Strawther. How did the Avalanche fall to the Blues last night? The guys heard from Sean Payton saying that a good running game is a way to take pressure off your own QB. Are the Broncos going to draft a RB this year? Closing out the show, the fellas reacted to Michael Malone closing on a deal with North Carolina. Will the Rox beat the Astros tonight?
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode, Rox reflects on maternity leave at almost seven months in.What started as a conversation about time becomes something a bit more practical — what it actually looks like to spend a year off work, knowing it has an end date.We talk about the “newborn write-off” phase. The early weeks. The hospital stay. And a little about building a weekly structure - as that isn't just for baby, but for mum too.We also touch on guilt, sleep, planning childcare, enrolling in schools ten years ahead, and how quickly time suddenly feels like it's passing by.Tune in to hear our reflections on motherhood, time feeling finite, and the conscious effort to stay steady while everything changes.

🧭 REBEL Rundown 📌 Key Points 💨 HFNC met criteria for non-inferiority to BPAP for preventing intubation or death within 7 days in four of the five ARF subgroups.🧪 Bayesian dynamic borrowing increased power across subgroups but created variable certainty, especially in smaller groups such as COPD.🫁 The immunocompromised hypoxemia subgroup did not meet non-inferiority, leading to early trial stopping for futility.️ Rescue BPAP use, subgroup-specific exclusion criteria, and non-standardized BPAP delivery are important contextual factors that influence how subgroup results should be interpreted. Click here for Direct Download of the Podcast. 📝 Introduction Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BPAP) has long been a foundational modality in the management of acute respiratory failure (ARF), particularly in COPD exacerbations and cardiogenic pulmonary edema, where it can rapidly reduce work of breathing and improve gas exchange. It remains a core tool in our respiratory support arsenal.High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), however, has expanded what we can offer patients by delivering many of the same physiologic benefits through a far more comfortable interface. With high flows, modest PEEP, and effective dead-space washout, HFNC can improve oxygenation and decrease work of breathing while preserving the ability to talk, cough, eat, and interact with staff and family. This combination of physiologic support and tolerability makes HFNC especially attractive in patients where comfort, anxiety, or cardiovascular stability are key considerations, and in settings where prolonged noninvasive support may be needed. Rather than competing with BPAP, HFNC broadens our options in ARF and allows us to better match the modality to the patient and their underlying disease process. The RENOVATE trial set out to answer a high-impact question across five distinct etiologic groups: Is HFNC non-inferior to BPAP (NIV) for preventing intubation or death in acute respiratory failure? 🧾 Paper Azoulay É, et al. On this episode of Destination on the Left, I talk with Lisa Conarton, CEO of LC Elevated Hospitality, who shares compelling examples of what it means to be a leader in the hospitality and tourism industry. We discuss the importance of building trust, why collaboration is key to success, and the difference between ROI and 'return on experience' (ROX). Lisa also shares how people can be proactive rather than reactive and why understanding how to go with the flow is so important. What You Will Learn in This Episode: How Lisa built her career path in hospitality and tourism, moving from convention operations to launching her own destination management consultancy Why earning trust is necessary for leadership and success in hospitality How networking and partnerships have been essential in driving growth for Lisa How Lisa differentiates between ROI (return on investment) and ROX (return on experience), and why focusing on experience benefits both travelers and businesses Why championing creativity encourages authenticity What real-life crisis taught Lisa about letting go, going with the flow, and relying on cultivated partnerships to execute successful events How Lisa approaches partnerships and collaboration, and her examples of coopetition within New York State destination marketing The Pillars of Hospitality Leadership From full-service hotel management to destination marketing and now as she builds her own consultancy, Lisa has consistently sought out growth opportunities. Her experience has shown that there are three key areas you have to prioritize: Earning Trust Trust has to be earned, particularly in hospitality, where seamless service and reliability are so important. Lisa emphasizes that trust is built over and over and over again, and needs consistency and integrity in every interaction. Networking and Collaboration Networking is the avenue to future collaboration and partnerships, which are the real engines behind growth. Not only do great relationships provide support in crisis, but they also lead to opportunities for greater collective achievements. The very definition of coopetition. Return on Experience (ROX) While return on investment (ROI) is a familiar metric, Lisa also values "return on experience"—the transformative impact of meaningful, memorable interactions that benefit both guests and the businesses serving them. Planning and execution are vital, but so is the focus on creating memories that resonate long after a trip or event ends. The Power of Partnerships Lisa shares the story of a last minute challenge, when with only 24 hours, she had to move a 150-person event when the venue became unusable due to heat. Through her well-established industry relationships, the move was seamless. While meticulous planning is crucial, so is the ability to let go and trust your partners. From her involvement with New York State's Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) to local industry partnerships, Lisa's success stories center around shared values and transparent communication. She explains why it's so important to figure out where each partner fits, recognize strengths, and build collaborations that play to everyone's best qualities. The Clean Your Microwave Podcast is back in the studio with none other than Mr. Aggie Pride himself — Gerard “Big Drank” Rankin, aka Osama Bin Drankin of the 'Drank on the Rox' Morning Show on 102Jamz. The comedian, radio personality, and professional foolery specialist chops it up with the crew about how he got his start in comedy, the early beginnings of the FFCS Comedy Show with Chico Bean, Bdaht, and Burpie, and the transition of the 3Live Crew on 102 Jamz. He dives into what work/life balance really looks like while juggling comedy, radio, and being a dedicated husband and dad. He also gives us the real tea on what went down with Wild 'N Out. Plus, we tap into what's next for Big Drank, including his podcast Last Few Hits with fellow FFCS comedian and Aggie staple Darren “Big Baby” Brand — and much more.
Rox and Reese Richards set out to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 50 day trip in the Boundary Waters. This is the story of their trip, and what Rox calls "the misadventure before the adventure." Within the first nine days they encountered high water, a canoe wreck leading to an unplanned night on the river bank, and an abrupt departure from the wilderness. In spite of what many people would consider to be a major setback, the couple decided to start again, ultimately reaching their goal of 50 contiguous days in the BWCAW. It's an inspiring story of love and adventure in the Wilderness!
0:00 - Broncos host the Chiefs on Sunday, and that game will set the tone for the rest of the season. If they lose to the Chiefs, god forbid, they'll be sitting at 8-3 heading into the bye. In a vacuum, that sounds awesome. You'd take that. But in this specific case, if they lose to the Chiefs it will feel like the 8 wins were all for naught.12:38 - The least shocking news broke during out show: the Mavericks are firing Nico Harrison, aka the architect behind the Luka Doncic trade.30:21 - Paul DePodesta, new President of Baseball Operations for the Colorado Rockies, recently spoke about the specific challenges of turning the Rox around. If he's able to fix this sinking ship and make them title contenders...he'll never have to buy himself a drink in Denver as long as he lives.
Aye Say Gang! We're back at it like morning traffic!! On this episode of the 'Clean Your Microwave' Podcast, we have radio personality, Roxie aka Big Rock from 102Jamz 'Drank on the Rox' Morning Show in the microwave. Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley kick off today’s show with plenty of optimism about tonight’s key game against the Bengals. They wonder how the Broncos will execute after a couple of rough games where they just couldn’t close it out as they debate who confident they should be against Jake Browning’s Bengals. Is the Coach Prime experiment falling apart after their loss to BYU? Mike and Stoke recap the Rockies’ worst season ever as they debate what the Rox will do. The 6am Duo wrap up the first hour answering the text line’s questions about tonight’s game; should this be an easy win or are the Broncos walking into a trap game?
Starting pitcher German Marquez is the poster child for Colorado Rockies pitchers who are MUCH better than most of the MLB world realizes. Where does he rank among all-time Rox? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley open today’s show telling us about Stoke’s encounter with a vicious Shibadoodle before they debate the Rockies’ bench-clearing brawl; was it a bad look for the lowly Rox or are teams just going soft nowadays? Coach Prime expanded on his comments about his clock management yesterday and Stoke is not happy about it. There is another talking head hopping on the Broncos’ hype train who think the Orange and Blue can take the AFC West and it finally has Stoke nervous. Mike and Stoke finish the first hour listening to Tom Brady talk about the development of young QB’s and how it relates to Bo Nix.
0:00 - Brett was right. Devaughn Vele was tradable for a draft picks! Someone out there wanted him. Moser and Vic called him a madman, and yet Kaner ended up on the right side of history. Let's allow him to take a victory lap!15:47 - While's Brett's out here taking victory laps, he was right about something else! He said it was time for the Rockies to cut bait with Austin Gomber. Just admit everything about the Arenado trade was a failure and cut him loose. Low and behold... the Rox put him on outright waivers yesterday. The Gomber situation also reminded Brett about something the Broncos did...32:43 - After all the teams trim their rosters to 53 men, will Sean Payton look to claim anyone off waivers?
0:00 - The Colts just named Daniel Jones their Week 1 starter. That's gotta be the end of Anthony Richardson's Colts days, right? There's no coming back from that. Could he go elsewhere and find success? Who are the great reclamation project QBs in NFL history that switched teams and revived their career?16:10 - It's almost college football season, which means it's time for Paul Finebaum to say something stupid that makes us mad. He said an SEC school will probably try to steal Deion Sanders regardless of how this season goes. What does that mean? Even if Deion goes 1-11, Florida will try to poach him or something?32:51 - Baseball's weird, man. The Rox are rallying! Even the worst teams can get hot in a 162 game season. Also, Rich Eisen had a touching tribute to his former ESPN/SportsCenter co-host the late great Stuart Scott.
In this episode I have a great conversation with Lisa Hinkelman, author of Girls Without Limits: Helping Girls Succeed in Relationships, Academics, Careers, and Life. Lisa has recently released her second edition of Girls Without Limits, Her first edition was published in 2013. Lisa and I talk about how much has changed for girls in the past ten years. Lisa raised a very important question. "What skills does a girl need to not have sex with someone she doesn't want to have sex with.? or "What skills does a girl need to not send a nude picture?" Lisa stated that it's not a "character deficit it's a skills deficit." Girls need to be taught concrete and discrete skills like being able to stand up for herself, setting boundaries ahead of time, know how to enforce that boundary verbally and physically, knowing who to talk to when she needs support, knowing how to deal with coercion, and when to end or leave a situation. Lisa Hinkelman, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX). She is a counselor, educator, researcher and author. Hinkelman's work for the past fifteen years has focused on the critical issues impacting girls and how schools, parents and educators can effectively support and encourage girls' interpersonal, educational and career growth. Previously, as a Counselor Education faculty member at The Ohio State University, her teaching and scholarly research focused on social and emotional learning, non-academic barriers that impact learning and girls' self-concept development. She was selected as a Nominated Changemaker for The White House United State of Women, Smart Business CEO of the Year and is a Draper Richards Kaplan Social Entrepreneur Fellow. Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley open the second hour with some proof that the Broncos are on the rise. Mike takes a victory lap about his sustained hatred of Michael Porter Jr after seeing all of the big moves the Nuggets made and how it has affected their title odds. Mike and Stoke discuss disgruntled employees; are the Nuggets playing with fire playing hardball with Jonas Valanciunas and are the Broncos running the risk of holdouts with their pending extensions? What’s Trending? The lone All-Star from the Rox, Joey Chestnut’s intro, Brad Pitt’s new blockbuster, and a friend of Jokic’s dominance.
