It's the finale of season two of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race and this miniseries, Secret TV Critic! Ande is still sick, but she's back for a relatively short episode recapping the very unexciting final episode. Stay tuned at the end for some random conversation about Dahmer and some other stuff we're watching! Ande is sick, so we're putting the final episode of Secret TV Critic recapping the finale of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race on hold until next week. So it's back to just me, scrambling to find things to talk about. So you get one idiotic story of why a handful of chronically online people are trying to cancel Kesha and Katy Perry, plus a recap of Southern Charm's finale on Bravo and the first few episode of Netflix's Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (that title is absolutely absurd, and I hate it more than anything else about the show... and I don't love much about the show). NOTE: I had a very bad week, so my language is a bit more intense and more frequently explicit. If the word "f**k" offends you, I apologize. Sometimes I can't control my own mouth. Oops! The game has changed! After immediately revealing everyone's identities (I was right on 4 out of 5, thankyouverymuch), the contestants on season 2 of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race perform together in a group number from the Vegas live show (because what is Drag Race if not one giant franchise marketing tool) and then each individually perform RuPaul songs. The results are mixed, with some strong showings from the usual crop and a very disappointing turn from one of our favorites. But we're one step closer to finding out which celebrity is taking home the crown and the $100k for charity, and next week we're getting SNATCH GAME! Also, I was back on Small Town Failing today, one of my favorite podcasts with one of my favorite podcast hosts, so make sure you give our episode about the Hallmark Mahogany movie Unthinkably Good Things a listen wherever you listen to your podcasts (just click that link). Welcome to a no-edits episode of Fake TV Critic! I was too lazy to edit out the chaos of this week's discussion with Ande of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race, so you get a conversation about downloading audio so we don't lose content and a really long math lesson where we try to figure out how old we were in middle school. Other than that, it's business as usual over VH1, until the surprise twist ending, that is. Tune in next week to find out who's underneath the makeup and wigs!
This week's episode of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race had a bunch of special guests, but you're stuck with just me and Ande recapping, dissecting, and rambling on about episode four: "Drag Duets."
We're back with a new episode of the miniseries Secret TV Critic, where Ande and I recap episodes of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race! This show continues to be a ton of fun, even if it's a little crunchy and confusing. This week we have some new guesses for who's underneath the wigs and makeup as some queens spiral and others gladly sashay away. Don't forget to tune into new episodes on Friday nights at 8:00/7:00c on VH1.
It's the spin-off you never knew you needed: Secret TV Critic! I'm doing a mini-spin off with my bestie, Andy from the Unveiled podcast and the Drag Race season 14 premiere episode of this podcast, dedicated to RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race season 2! If you didn't know the show existed, you're not alone! But it's a wonderful combination of Drag Race and The Masked Singer with celebrities dressed in drag but their identities concealed until they are eliminated. Fun! Listen and follow along, and watch new episodes every Friday at 8:00pm EDT on VH1.
Last season on the podcast Loni and Alec covered all things All-Stars, and now, they're diving into RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race.
