The NFL Draft Preview episode of The Tony G Show is here! Tony G and Will McCormick bring in a friend and NFL Draft Specialist, who is also the College Football expert of The Tony G Show, Matt Swanson to discuss the 2022 NFL Draft. In this episode, Matt Swanson gives his mock draft for the top 10 picks in the draft, with a surprise at #1. Then, Tony G has Swan mock the first 5 picks for the Packers in the draft, as well as another name to watch for Green Bay in the later rounds on day 3. The third and final segment of the show is a ranking of the top-5 QBs in the draft. To conclude the show, the trio of Will, Matt, & TG take a trip down memory lane with each other, taking a look back at their roots in SNC Radio.
Tony G is alone for today's Tony G Show, as Will McCormick will return for the final 3 episodes starting on Thursday. On today's show, Tony G argues that "robot umpires" are imminent, and it is because of how umpires are performing this season. He also discusses that pace of play rules need to be relaxed in the game of baseball in that first segment. Then, TG argues that back injuries need to be taken seriously in a segment defending Ben Simmons decision to sit out, but then he calls Ben Simmons a fool for being uninvested on the sideline. These protests at NBA games are getting out of hand and Tony G discusses why in the 3rd and final segment of the show.
Including this episode, there are only 5 more episodes of The Tony G Show. Today's show includes debates on Deebo Samuel and his future after asking for a trade away from the San Francisco 49ers. Then, Tony G looks at college basketball coaches and faculty stepping away from the sport and he speculates with Will about if there is any correlation to the modernization of the NCAA. To conclude, Tony G makes the case that Armando Gallaraga's near-perfect game should be overturned into a perfect game with recent developments after an argumentative paper from a law class to Rob Manfred.
For the first time in a long time, an episode of The Tony G Show is being published on a Friday with the unusual schedule of both Will McCormick and Tony G. For this episode, Tony G works alone to crown his newest "Worst Owner in Pro Sports" knocking off James Dolan from the top of the list. Tony G then turns to baseball to discuss the unwritten rules of baseball in the recent encounter of the Padres and Giants with an argument, a plea rather, for baseball to move past the old way of thinking regarding the unwritten rules of the sport. To conclude, Tony G discusses the Savanah Bananas in a conversation where he dubs the organization the WWE or the Harlem Globetrotters of the baseball world.
Will McCormick has returned to The Tony G Show after his spring break vacation and returns to his normal self and goofy nature as co-host of the show. Tony G and Will discuss the NCAA March Madness Tournament and predict the final 4 rounds, starting with the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 this upcoming weekend. Then, the two discuss the major changes to the NFL landscape with the Browns acquiring Deshaun Watson from the Texans and Tyreek Hill departing Kansas City for Miami, both players were then given major money in their deals with their new teams. Tony G and Will debate if these transactions help or hurt the teams involved moving forward into draft season.
After a week off for spring break, The Tony G Show returns with a lot to talk about. Will McCormick is still enjoying his spring break festivities so Tony G rolls solo to discuss the sports world and its recent headlines. To start, Tony G analyzes the state of the Green Bay Packers with their recent transactions, the most talked-about of which, being the trade of Davante Adams. After that, TG breaks down what he describes as the overpay of the century with a certain MLB team and MLB former MVP. To conclude the show, another Wisconsin Sports Segment to recap the 2 games of the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Tournament. This discussion also has a thank you and goodbye to Brad Davison, and maybe Johnny Davis?

On the Schmooze Podcast: Leadership | Strategic Networking | Relationship Building
Today's guest is a builder. He is best known for building a multi-million dollar business with his childhood friends, ShipOffers, which has been an INC 5000 Company for the past three years in a row. In 2015, he launched a podcast to build a community where struggling entrepreneurs know they can achieve anything they want despite their past. The journey to self-fulfillment wasn't easy. He almost lost it all in 2008 after years of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Facing the near destruction of his marriage and the sad realization that he was negatively affecting his children's lives, he made the decision that year to get sober, and he has stayed sober ever since. As he got clean, he also became clear about his vision to help others find their passion and achieve more. With this in mind, he launched his podcast, The Tony G Show, that brings together his love for business, radio and life. Please join me in welcoming Tony Grebmeier. In this episode we explore: his definition of an authentic leader: “I made all of these faults and I'm here to tell you that you can get out of anything you've done if you have the willingness, the capacity to be honest and admit your faults.” the teachers and coaches who have pushed him to think differently, including his friend who said, “Your life has meaning and purpose, but what you are doing right now doesn't.” how he changed his attitude and now embraces life and loves finding ways to help others succeed. the investment he has made in himself to go from a “diseased mindset to an empowered mindset.” Stay tuned until the end of the episode to hear what I thought were the key takeaways you could put into practice this week and benefit from for years to come.
