Welcome to week one of our series With. For the next 5 weeks we will be walking through the parable of the Prodigal Son and uncover 4 ways we typically try to walk with God. This week we take a look at the hand over heart posture - where we look for God to give us things instead of getting to his heart in true relationship with Him.
Special guest Jason Kandle closes our series through Jonah walking through chapter 4 and showing us the compassion of God for all peoples.
Join us as Joe dives into to chapter 1 in the book of Jonah and we compare God's heart to ours (Jonah's).
Join us as Jeremiah opens our new series studying the book of Jonah. As we unpack this book, we will discover that it is beyond whales and children's stories, and draws into focus our God's deep, missional heart. This week, we unpack the bigger context into which Jonah is written and what early readers might have clued in on as they studied this book.
In Week 5 of our I Am series, Troy unpacks Jesus' bold claim: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” In a world full of uncertainty and searching, Jesus doesn't just point us toward God—He is the way to Him, the truth that reveals Him, and the life that fulfills us. Unlike the temporary systems of the Old Testament, Jesus offers a permanent, personal relationship with the Father. This message reminds us that true direction, clarity, and fulfillment are found not in a path but in a person—Jesus Himself.
In Week 4 of our I Am series, Pastor Joe teaches on Jesus' powerful claim: “I am the Good Shepherd.” In a world filled with broken relationships and relational poverty, Jesus offers something radically different—deep love, true belonging, and sacrificial care. Unlike the false shepherds who abuse or abandon, Jesus lays down His life for His sheep. Come hear how the Good Shepherd knows you, pursues you, and invites you into a relationship marked by grace, protection, and intimacy.
In the third week of our "I Am" series, Joe unpacks Jesus' claim that he is, “The Door.” The one true way to have our deepest needs met. In him and in him alone do we find security, salvation, and satisfaction. Join us as we dive into this amazing "I Am" statement from Jesus.
In the second week of our I Am series, Jeremiah explores Jesus' bold declaration, “I am the Light of the World.” Set against the backdrop of the Feast of Tabernacles, where great lamps illuminated the temple, Jesus proclaims Himself as the true and eternal light—revealing the nature of our hears and the nature of God's heart. Just as the pillar of fire guided Israel through the wilderness, Jesus leads us out of spiritual darkness and into the light of life. Join us as we unpack what it means to follow Him, walk in His light, and shine His truth in a dark world.
In the first week of our "I Am" series through the book of John, Joe unpacks Jesus' powerful declaration, “I am the Bread of Life.” Drawing from the Old Testament provision of manna in the wilderness, we'll see how Jesus is the true and eternal bread sent from heaven—offering not just temporary satisfaction but everlasting life. Join us as we explore what it means to truly believe in and depend on Jesus, not just for our wants but for our greatest needs.
In Week 7 of our Habits series, Jeremiah explores Worship and Witness as integral parts of spiritual formation. True worship is more than ritual or compartmentalized practice; it is a lifestyle that orients us around God's truth and transforms our hearts. Witnessing follows naturally from worship, as we share the good news of Christ's victory, not just as a duty but as a response to His work in our lives. The message challenges believers to remove barriers, embrace bold faith, and engage the world with both worship and witness.
Join us for week 6 of our Habits series as Joe focuses on the call to generosity and service as modeled by Jesus. Drawing from Romans 12, 2 Corinthians 9, and other passages, it emphasizes that true generosity is not about wealth but about prioritizing people over possessions. Jesus' example—such as washing the disciples' feet—shows that serving others requires humility and sacrifice. While the world, our own hearts, and the enemy may resist this calling, believers are encouraged to trust in God's provision, reject materialism, and live lives marked by selfless service.
In Week 5 of our series, Jeremiah explores the Sabbath. Looking through the Old Testament and New Testament, we gain a wholistic picture of the gift that sabbath is and come to understand that it can be the antidote to our hurried and busy lives. We have a chance to stop, rest, delight, and worship our God from a place of enough! Will you accept the invitation to sabbath?
In Week 4 of our series, Jeremiah explores the themes of Simplicity and Solitude, drawing from Luke 12:13-34 and other passages where Jesus models withdrawing to quiet places to pray. He challenges us to reflect on the distractions of modern life, reminding us that “the greatest threat to Christianity is not hedonism but distraction” (Ian Simpkins). Through simplicity, we are called to unify our hearts and lives in the pursuit of God's kingdom, learning to turn down the noise of the world and tune into God's still, small voice. Eternity begins now, and as we embrace the journey, we find that quality relationships, presence, and spiritual growth happen over time.
Prayer and fasting are spiritual disciplines that draw us closer to God, aligning our hearts with His will. Through prayer, we humbly acknowledge our dependence on Him, and through fasting, we set aside worldly desires to seek His presence fully. Join us for our third week of the Habits series as Joe explores the "why" and "how" of these practices, focusing on Jesus' teachings about the importance of heart attitude and the challenges we may face from the world, our own hearts, and the enemy.
The Study of and meditation on God's Word are essential for spiritual growth and transformation. Join us for the second week of our Habits series as Jeremiah discusses our study of Scripture that not only nourishes our souls but also renews our minds, guiding us to live in purity and truth. Through intentional study and reflection, we replace destructive habits with life-giving ones, aligning our thoughts and actions with God's will despite the resistance of the world, our hearts, and the enemy.
Coming off the profound truths of Revelation, we now anchor ourselves in the challenge of 2 Peter 3:17-18: to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But how do we do this in practical terms?Join us as Jeremiah kicks off the first week of an eight part series that explores the Spiritual Disciplines as the divine tools by which God renews our minds, bodies, and spirits.
