Welcome to our Lenten Devotional, Into the Wilderness. This devotional is an invitation to a journey - a forty-day period where we join the wider Church in a season of repentance and renewal, preparing our hearts and our minds for Easter. Our hope is that we will emerge from our 40-day journey repentant and ultimately renewed, having discovered the mercy of Jesus who endured the cross so that we might enjoy the purpose for which we were created, experiencing deep intimate relationship with him now and forevermore.

This week, I am blessed to interview Tim Reigle. Tim is the founder of Into The Wilderness ministry. His mission is about leading men to overcome sexual addiction and transform their lives by renewing their faith, re-energizing their families, and restoring their masculinity. Tim draws on his own experience of overcoming a 15-year porn addiction to work with men through Bible study, writing, and coaching to overcome pornography addiction and become better men. Such an encouraging conversation with Tim and I appreciate his transparency in sharing his own struggles. You can learn more about his ministry here: https://intothewildernessblog.com/ Be sure to check out and subscribe to Neil's Substack for more content: https://substack.com/@neilgetzlow
Today, I'm joined by Timothy Reigle and we are talking about Overcoming Addiction. Tim is the founder of Into The Wilderness, a ministry dedicated to helping men transform their lives by renewing faith, re-energizing families, and restoring masculinity. He is the author of the book, Living Porn Free: 10 Steps to Recovery, Redemption, and Renewal. As a coach, he has helped hundreds of men overcome addiction to porn and sex, save their marriages, and become better men. Tim is also a licensed funeral director, a chaplain, a worship leader, and most importantly, a husband and father. I'm excited to have him on the show to talk about how men can cast aside addictions, weakness, and complacency so they can become the leaders, husbands, and fathers their families, churches, workplaces, and communities need. This episode is primarily for our male audience but everyone will get something out of it. This was an eye-opening and candid conversation that needs to be heard. In this episode, something different. A few months ago I was asked to host an episode of UNpacked, tackling the question: what is ethical wildlife tourism? This is that investigation, originally released by www.afar.com/unpacked. The Into The Wilderness podcast is a www.modernhuntsman.com production. Purchase the full back catalogue of volumes on the website There's nothing quite like a magical, transportive animal encounter—but how do we ensure those encounters are good for the animals (and good for the places we visit)? Journalist Byron Pace, host of the Into the Wilderness Podcast, takes us on a journey around the world, talking with wildlife experts ranging from a shark scientist in Australia to a California-based biologist. Byron Pace needs no introduction to most of you. He is a man of many talents: a filmmaker, photographer, writer and the host of the excellent Into The Wilderness and Into The Anthropocene podcasts. Given that we share many topics, and even guests, on our podcasts I was delighted to talk with Byron. During our conversation, we discussed the importance of hunters and anglers for wildlife conservation and education about the natural world. We also delved into the subject of rewilding. Obviously, I didn’t forget to ask Byron about his road to becoming such a prominent outdoors content creator. For me, this truly is a milestone episode. Please enjoy Tommy’s Outdoors number 80. https://www.byronpace.co.uk/
