Welcome family! My name is Timothy James Allen Sr. I'm a Christian, and I love the Lord, and technology! Seeing as I have the means to do so, I desire to record segments of the Bible to share with you. I'm not striving for perfection, just reading aloud with some commentary and explanation here and there. I will mess up, and mispronounce things! I've seen songs and albums with the title "Only God Can Judge Me" ...and old saying, but still frequently used. And as confusion and chaos is increasing in our world..perhaps this phrase is being used even more now. Today we go to the scriptures to see what the Bible has to say about judgement, and whether or not we should cast judgement on each other. Antonio joins me for the finale of this series. We discuss two extremely important characteristics of God: His mercy and His love. This series has certainly been a blessing for us, and we hope you have enjoyed as well! Please share with a friend! Below we have listed additional scriptures on God's mercy and love! Mercy: Matthew 5:7 ESV “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. 1 Peter 1:3 ESV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 John 1:9 ESV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Micah 7:18 ESV / Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. Titus 3:5 ESV He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, sinners.” Psalm 145:9 ESV The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made Love: 1 John 3:1 ESV See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 4:16 ESV So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Romans 8:37-39 ESV No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Galatians 2:20 ESV / I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 1 John 4:19 ESV / 3,820 We love because he first loved us. Psalm 86:15 ESV / But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/biblereadaloud/support
