To have a great church, a church must be in unity. What does unity look like-

The wrath of God is as terrible as the love of God is beautiful. But without the wrath of God, you do not have the justice of God. But how is God's wrath seen- According to Romans 1, the wrath of God is seen in the destruction of the sin of the lives of those who don't want Him.

As Moses knew, ministry brings great burdens. But in those burdens, God knows how to meet us there.

Sometimes it difficult to know what God is doing, but once we are able to perceive what is happening, when can then make a decision. So many times do we need God to give us perception-

Thought travel into our mind, and can get lodged there. When when think on them and allow them to become stuck, our actions will soon follow.

Jesus said -Ye must be born again.- How is one born again-

We have a choice to make- Serve God, or serve the god of this world.

Weeds only cut off will quickly come back.

We are going to have troubles in life. When we serve God, we are going to get bit. The bigger question is what are we going to do after that- After Paul was bit by the serpent, he shook it off and went back to work.

Paul was not a quitter - and neither should we-

Once again Paul had an audience with a Roman ruler. This time it was king Agrippa II. Like the times before, Paul gives the gospel. And like times before, Agrippa does what so many have done - reject the Gospel-

Felix was under conviction, but wouldn't make a decision. For two years he didn't make a decision, and from history it doesn't look like he ever made a decision.-And this is still the problem today - always waiting for a more convenient time to obey God.

God is finally addressing Job and his own issues. It is through the process of suffering that God has done the greatest thing for Job - Job moved from knowing about God academically to seeing God.

Israel lost in Ai because of hidden sin in the camp. This was never God's will for Israel, and it is never God's will for us. If we are losing battles in the Christian life, and we want to win again, we need to stop and ask God to show us the sin.

Many have wondered why Paul took the counsel of James and went in to the Temple with four Nazarites to complete their vow. Some believed Paul was wrong in doing this- some believed it was fine.-Did Paul sin- What was the real reason Paul took part in a ceremonial part of the Law-

We have sacred memorials in our nation that mark the blood and sacrifice of those who gave their life to secure something better for others. In a similar way, the church is a memorial of the sacrifice of the One who died to purchase it. How serious do we take the church of Jesus Christ-

Psalm 48 extols the greatness of God, and it end with a great reminder to us - This God is Our God- Amen-

After every great victory Satan loves to show up. He did it with Elijah and the prophets of Baal, and he does it with us. Thankfully God's response to Elijah is the same for us - there is a way to defeat discouragement

Joshua was God's Authority over Israel, and Israel responded to their authority in a right way. But how do we respond to authority-

Under Moses, Israel had already gone through the Red Sea. But 40 years later, they have one last obstacle - the Jordan River. They have miraculously crossed a huge body of water, but they haven't done it in the way God will have them do it this time. And it's for a reason.

It is through suffering that God is maturing Job, bringing him into a closer relationship with himself.

Apollos was mighty in the scriptures, only knowing the Baptism of John. But Aquila and Priscilla took him aside and showed him a more perfect way - Jesus Christ.

When Israel finally made it into the Promised Land, they had brought with them the stigma, the reproach, of Egypt. Once they moved by faith and entered Canaan, God said He would now remove their reproach. As New Testament believers, we too can have the reproach of this world hung around our neck. How is it removed- In the very same way Israel's was - by faith-

Job is enduring false accusations, and Job is looking for someone to defend him before God.

The World is completely upside down, and the only thing to right it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But do we have the testimony to make a difference-

Before Moses Died, he wanted to make sure he had a replacement, so he asked God to put someone in his place to lead Israel.-Through this we understand the importance that Moses placed on authority, and more so, the importance God places on authority.

Paul and Silas were put in prison, and in the darkest place of their ministry, they were singing and praising God. It was their testimony that was instrumental in the Philippian jailer coming to Christ.

Unlike some parents, God doesn't allow us to move forward until we've learned the lessons he intends us to learn. It is in these times of -backtrack- when God brings you back to a lesson once again for a purpose, viz. He is making us like Christ.

The last chapter of Ruth unfolds the great plan of redemption. And in a simple genealogy we see the providential hand of God.

We are all related to someone. But how is it we become related to God- Certain believing Pharisees taught that one had be become a Jew before they could become a Christian. But what does God say about this-

When Israel made it to Canaan, they found the land just as God said - except for one small detail. Giants.-As it was for Israel, so it is for believers today. God will bring us to the borders of his will, and we too will find the giants cluttering our promise. But God has the answer for giants.

The believer governed by the world is living according to the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the Pride of life. This is the three divisions of James 4. The message here deals with the the pride of life, which is manifest in the way we plan our life.

The Apostle Paul lays out the hope of the Resurrection, which is our own resurrection. So in light of our own resurrection, what is there to fear- Just keep doing the work of the Gospel.

Paul and Barnabas took advantage of the opportunity to preach the gospel in the synagogues on Cyprus. In the day we are living, opportunity abounds around us with open doors for he gospel. Are we taking advantage of those opportunities-

The World has their way of getting what they want, and it's through fighting and triangulation and war. But what about the child of God--What does God say about those of His children who operate like the world to get what they want-

God calls busy people. Paul and Barnabas were busy in the ministry before the Holy Spirit separated them out to the major missionary work they would do.

As believers we know that we are indwelt by God. But how can we know the presence of God-

More and more Preachers of the Gospel are -casualizing- the ministry. What does God have to say about these latest trends-

In a time with Pastors succumbing to the flesh more than ever, we once again need to be brought to God's desire for separation and sanctification in the lives of God's men, and in God's churches.
