The Daydream Instruction Manual Cast
We all have that one movie that we love that happens to have cheesy special effects. Whether it's a dude in a rubber gorilla suit or a spaceship on black wires, the low-budget movie holds a special place in our hearts. Listen and enjoy as we share our favorite cheesy films, and share your favorite ones with us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!!
Join "Daydream Instruction Manual's" very own, Eddie Fossler, as he and his buddy Ben Craine from "OMUG Comics" embark on a spiritual journey to find themselves on a special little adventure we like to call... SPIRIT QUEST 2020!!!
WOooaaahHHH!!!!!!! That's right, Billy and Eddie talk Bill and Ted and the new movie, Face the Music!

So we've had episodes still coming out but they were all old and backlogged. This is a fresh new recording and we didn't even plan it! So much so that our microphones aren't great and there's no real subject. We had an online meeting and then decided "what the heck?" So what the heck in deed, we're back!
Our Daydreamers are on their way to the 3rd portal on the left when... Wait a minute! They're taking a u-turn and going to the 2nd portal on the right?!?! That's right, Eddie, Mike, and Billy are jumping into obscurity and talking little known cartoons! This episode was recorded quite some time ago and can also be seen in video form on the facebook page.
Heck no we're not getting rebooted, we're just talking about reboots in film. What actually is a reboot? It seems the definition of it sends people in many directions. Well jump aboard and checkout what your favorite Daydreamers have to say about it and what some of their favorites are. and PLEASE, feel free to contribute $1.00 a month by joining our Patreon page HERE!
Billy delivers a review on Mezco Toyz/Living Dead Dolls' Ghost Face from Scream. Enjoy the episode! Also, Patreon.com/DaydreamInstructionManual to help us out for only $1.00 a month!
Our very good friends and frequent guests, OMUG Comics, have a Kickstarter going on until August 13th and they are over half way there!!! We recorded this on Facebook LIVE a few days ago and that is when they crossed the half-way point. So now, by listening to this, you can help them finish the goal. Look, by this point, you know we love these guys and their comic book characters. Within this episode (or at the Kickstarter link) you can findout about their amazing perks and become part of history. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1615493790/lenny-vernon-badass-trucker-and-the-colty-saga/description
Remember to keep in mind that these episodes are recorded over Facebook LIVE and are at times a number of weeks old. This episode also consists of Disney and the Facebook algorithms shutting down our stream! Also, please consider throwing in a buck a month over at Patreon.com/DaydreamInstructionManual
Remember how awesome they used to be? Movie tie-ins, giveaways, wow! What a time it used to be! Strap in because we take you back on an adventure! (During this time, episodes are recorded straight from our social distance, Facebook LIVE streams, so we apologize if video conversation doesn't translate the best)
How is your quarantining going? Losing your mind, yet? Join us as we lose our minds providing you some laughs. Remember, with these episodes, there is no structure, there is no editing to make the episode sound pretty or enhanced with extra funny goodness. Just raw, late night nonsense, just for YOU!
This is the part where we give a description of the episode with a little break down of subjects discussed. Well, these episodes are going to be long, typically held for 2 or more hours, and at really late hours of the night. So there is no specific topic or flow. They're all over the place, a little more adult, maybe a little salty at times, but still all in the name of fun and not too far off brand of the usual DIM you love. So sit back, enjoy, wonder what the heck we're rambling about, and join us in the insanity that has overcome us from social distancing.
What is going on? What can you expect? Here's Johnny! An all new Mini-Sode is ready for you, NOW!
Here is Billy's second Mini-Sode where he is reviewing a couple of Living Dead Dolls from Mezco Toyz and this time it is Pennywise and then a little after the 12 minute mark, The Joker! Make sure you are also checking out... The Last Starfighters Entertainment Group The Podcast Arcade
We sit down and discuss the finer points of organizing and running a comic book/pop-culture convention with the "man behind the curtain" of Grand Comic Con, Mr. Doug Holmes! Grand Comic Con is now in it's THIRD year and has become the "go to" con for those wanting to experience a comic/pop-culture convention on a smaller scale, with ALL the heart, and even a few surprises up it's sleeve that only GCC can pull off! You'll laugh! You'll cry! You'll hear Billy sound as if he was, in fact, a walking, talking ZOMBIE!! All this and MORE on THIS Episode of Daydream Instruction Manual!
Our first episode of 2020 is here and we're PUMPED!!! Billy is celebrating his tenth year as a podcaster and he's bringing Mike and Eddie into the realm of all things Tim Burton. They discuss their top five favorite Burton films as well as other portions of his career. Don't mind the sounds of baby Logan in the background. Apparently any time is a good time for play time, even when Daddy and his friends are trying to record noise sensitive material, haha. http://www.thepodcastarcade.com/ http://www.daydreaminstructionmanual.podbean.com/ https://www.facebook.com/daydreaminstructionmanual/ https://twitter.com/daydreammanual https://www.facebook.com/thelaststarfightersentertainment/

If you enjoy movies, television shows, and live attractions that feature special effects, then there no way that a make-up artist isn't involved in the magic that's being woven for you right before your very eyes. We had the privilege to sit down with Amanda Jensen, an incredibly talented make-up and special effects artist who was responsible for the zombie make-up and effects for the "Lenny Vernon: Badass Trucker" live action trailer!! But that's not nearly what this amazing artist is capable of! With a portfolio that's hurting at the seams, you HAVE to check the breadth of her work HERE!! Also an avid "Haunter", Amanda works with "The Shadow's Edge" Haunted attraction and brings the fear and in some cases, the funny as well! Please enjoy as we take a peek behind the curtain of special effects make-up on THIS episode of Daydream Instruction Manual!

All this and MORE on this thrilling episode!
Through the magic of syndication and reruns, most of us have had the pleasure of being exposed to entertainment that predated our births. Whether it's an episode of "Yogi Bear" or "Jabberjaw", it's fun to experience what the generations before us watched and enjoyed. If you're lucky enough to be able to do this, it's fun is to talk about some of those cartoons with someone who enjoyed them when they were NEW, and it's even MORE fun if that person is a fellow podcaster and friend! In this special "Daydream: After Dark", we're joined by "Kip" a.k.a. John Golden, from the hit podcast "Geekvice" to discuss some of the insane and bonkers cartoons of the 1970's!
During the late 1970's and early 1980's, there was an absolute flood of "High Fantasy" Movies that wowed our imaginations with their fantastic worlds of wonderment and blew our young minds with engaging and thrilling stories! And one of the high points of this cinematic deluge, was "The Dark Crystal"!! Envisioned, created and written by Jim Henson on a literal dark and stormy night in the late 1970's, "The Dark Crystal" was a hit fantasy film where 100% of the sets, effects, and "actors" were either puppets or practical effects! Telling the Story of the mythical world of Thra, where the creatures of this world are in a state of slowly dying as the power of The Dark Crystal slowly fades. The corrupt and evil Skeksis have corrupted and abused the crystal to the point where it can no longer sustain the planet. An ancient prophecy and an unlikely hero in the form of a nearly extinct race called the Gelfings are the inhabitants of Thra's only hope. Please enjoy as catch up with one of the original founding members of DIM, the one and only Mike Golka, discuss this amazing film in the light of its upcoming prequel series "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" being released on Netflix, And we enjoy another round of DIM games!!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When you heard this for the first time, you may have thought to yourself "Whaaaat?" The Daydream Instruction Manual pulled out the dark sunglasses and black suits to make sure that the audience of the "Late Show" viewing of "Men in Black" at the Alamo Drafthouse felt that they had any potential extraterrestrial threat under control. The truth is, if they HAD seen an alien, I'm sure Billy would have had to have dragged Eddie's unconscious body out of the theater! Please enjoy DIM's afterthoughts and musings on the "Late Show" viewing of "Men in Black" at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema!
This summer we had the pleasure of hosting several panels at O Comic Con, and it was with a particular sense of nostalgia and overall good feelings that we had the privilege of hosting Davey Johnson's panel. A little back story here: Eddie moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in the fall of 1997 and after a time of taking his lumps getting on his feet, he ran into the one and only Mr. Davey Johnson. Funny, laid back, and frankly a bit weird, Davey and Eddie got along splendidly and had many adventures together (even if only for a short time). Time passed and Davey moved out to Los Angeles, California to seek out his fame and fortune, and Eddie set along a path that led to a wife, three kids, and a modest podcast empire. Fast forward to today, and Davey has starred in such hit shows as Adventure Time, Garfunkel and Oates, the film "Southbound", and MORE! Listen and let the laugh(s) begin! ~ DIM
