Today I discuss 3 communication styles that are causing conflict, confusion, and maybe even drama in your personal and professional relationships. By applying this golden rule "Say what you mean, and trust your partner to do the same" you will break these patterns. I discuss 3 styles and scripts to turn that communication around:1. You're using unclear language2. You don't trust your partner's response3. You try to be "nice"Message me on IG and share your thoughts on today's episode @ele.vateher @itsmandyschell
Like a business, having a mission statement sets you up to know where you are going as a couple and as a family. This is more than a cute Etsy quote your purchased to hang in your entry way. Today I discuss the 5 questions my husband I discussed this weekend while reading the book "Take Back Your Family" by Jefferson Bethke. The questions are: what is different about our marriage?what other marriages do you really respect? why?what is important to our marriage?what kind of marriage do we want to have?if others talk about our marriage, what do we want to be known for?Leave me a DM on IG to let me know if you found this helpful!IG @itsmandyschell and @ele.vateher
I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but you're not stuck. You've probably just set your expectation of time for accomplishing your goal way too high. OR your consistency for reaching that goal is not based in fact, but in fantasy. In a world that glorifies the "overnight success" story... be the one who wins by staying consistent, for as long as it takes. Don't do a "crash" diet, or business plan for a temporary burst of success. You'll make your impact greater with your consistent daily action.
In today's episode I talk about my 3 pillars in my decision making: Investing in myself, investing in my family, and investing in my community. I also take 2 min to mom brag about my kid. f
Today's episode is all about communication with your Ex during divorce, and 5 Co-parenting communication boundaries post-divorce. Not everything requires a response. Many people going through a divorce tend to be trapped in a toxic pattern of behaving politely, then behaving badly. Emotions run high throughout the negotiations and you are communicating primarily through text message. All it takes for a pattern to change is for one person to change how they respond. So I encourage that to be you. Learning how to communicate with an ex to make decisions for the kids is a lifelong skill you will require to ensure you achieve the life you desire. ✔️ Refrain from badmouthing your co-parent. ✔️ The communication that happens between our children and our co-parent is truly none of our business.✔️ Communicate with your co-parent in a businesslike manner.✔️ Only communicate about your child. ✔️ Communicate with your co-parent respectfully and disagree privately.
Today's episode is all about friendships, and what that means for US as adults, and maybe even young teen girls we have in our lives. As a society we talk a lot about the end of romantic relationships and very little about the end of friendships.f you are feeling disappointed in someone in your life, I wonder if you have asked that person for what you need or want? It's pretty powerful how much of a disconnect there can be there, and how a simple conversation can go a long way. Listen in on the tips I provide for how to communicate your expectations to avoid disappointment, as well what to look for in an authentic friendship.
This past year 2022…podcasts, PW, women I met in person, online…I kept hearing FREEDOM. Financial freedom, Lifestyle freedom, Creative freedom. This past year I decided I wold do just about anything to change my career circumstances. i am on a mission to be the boss of my own life. In today's episode I discuss:- Since childhood always wanting to be told what to do- I've always worked to impress others- the negative talk to keep me from exploring opportunities to be my own boss-I will not be scared of Sunday's anymore

The community you collaborate with They're the people you really run with Those you race with- who are you running with? This is an ALL IN time for me. My pace doesn't have to be my friends pace. So I'm actively surrounding myself with people that nurture that. So where do you meet these people to run with?Get in the room. That's where the people you need to run with are- it's probably not the girl you've been friends with since HS. They will not show up on your doorstep. It's up to you to find them
Well, that sucked! Have you ever uttered those words to yourself, reflecting on some perceived failure in your life, feeling all sorts of defeated and rundown and ready to throw your hands in the hair?In today's episode I discuss:I am deathly afraid of failure. But I still try. When I fail, and I I don't die, I get up and try again. Following the energy, and don't force relationships Life is 3 things: pain, uncertainty, and constant work.If you move towards pain it gets smaller, and if you move away… it gets bigger

This episode I get real on being human and my own struggles with tough seasons of life. I myself tend to think I don't want to burden others with an issue, or compare that no one else is struggling like this, etc. So I stay quiet, I don't talk or share with those closest to me what is really going on in my life, which in turn feels so isolating. Really what the solution is is connecting with others. Being Me, however messy that looks. I share this topic after hearing another podcaster talk on the subject, and I want to open that door that we are all human and to give ourselves grace as we navigate life, and for goodness sake don't do it alone!
