Jesus is clear in Matthew 6 that there's an expectation that his followers will practice Fasting; and yet so many of us don't do it regularly. Rachel explores how the physical action of fasting brings about a spiritual reaction.
As followers of Jesus we are in a spiritual battle. We need to be ready and alert to stand strong in the challenges of life. Paul, in his letter to the church in Ephesus gives us so much in how to prepare and clothe ourselves for the battles ahead. Tim looks at the ‘armour of God' and helps us see how we are to use it to enable us to stand firm.
The gift of tongues is a spiritual gift, given by God, to release us in prayer and worship. When we pray in tongues we are edified and built up. Through this gift we connect with God in prayer and amazingly are drawn into the mysteries of God.
