In this message, Pastor Sarah reveals how our trust issues with God are often shaped by how people have treated us. When disappointment shapes our view, we can begin to project those same patterns onto the Lord. But God is always good, always faithful, and always true to His Word. This message calls us to trust who He is, trust what He's done, and trust what He's said, because you really can trust the Lord. We're kicking off a brand-new series called We've Got Issues — and no, it's not about how your family is worse than everyone else's. It's about being human.Every marriage. Every parent. Every home. We all have issues. But most of what we call “family problems” are really heart problems. Not just communication issues. Not just schedule conflicts. Not just personality differences. At the root? Sin.In this message, we walk through Epistle to the Romans 3:9–12 and uncover a hard but freeing truth: we don't have occasional sin problems — we have a sin nature. And until we name the real issue, we'll keep chasing the wrong solutions. This isn't about behavior modification. t's about heart transformation. If you name the wrong problem, you'll chase the wrong solution. But where sin is named, grace can finally do its work.Healed families start with honest hearts.

Relationships are messy because we're messy. The Psalms show the pain of relational conflict and the beauty of restored connection. By understanding ourselves and others, we can build healthier, grace-filled relationships.
California's crisis isn't abstract, it's personal. Leo Zacky grew up inside a multi-generation family business, learned politics from the inside as a young board member, then watched everything he built his identity around get “ripped away” when Zacky Farms shut down.In this conversation, Dr. Phil takes a psychological look at resilience after loss, responsibility without bitterness, and the difference between outrage and outcomes through the lens of We've Got Issues: solve problems, measure results, and rebuild trust with dignity.Visit Leo Zacky:https://leozacky.com/https://www.facebook.com/LeoZackyforGovernor/https://twitter.com/LeoSZackyhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtmt3w02I2Xim2GvFn5C2yAhttps://www.instagram.com/leoszacky/Thank you to our sponsors:Diabetes doesn't wait. If Part 1 is naming anxiety, Part 2 is developing practices to move toward peace. Scripture gives us rhythms, habits, and reframing techniques that retrain our anxious minds.
Anxiety is the body's alarm system, but many of us live with the alarm blaring. The Psalms normalize anxious feelings and Jesus reframes the way we relate to our worries.
On her 18th birthday, Sandy Netburn marked the occasion with the release of her 14-track debut album, “Issues.” Soon after, she released the music video for the single “I've Got Issues,” she also directed. And that's just the beginning! Sandy joined us to talk all about the different themes she takes on in “Issues,” including politics and what it means to be human. She shared the creative process of the album, being in the recording studio for the first time, and what she has planned for the next project. In addition to her music, Sandy is also a ventriloquist and podcast host. She dives into the origins of these aspects of her creative work and what motivates her to keep going. Closing out this interview is the single, “I've Got Issues,” and we hope you give the rest of the album a listen or three.
Control is often fear dressed up as strategy. We manipulate, micromanage, and grasp for outcomes because we're anxious about uncertainty. The Psalms bring us back to trust, surrender, and honest self-reflection.
Restlessness comes from living without a clear sense of purpose, direction, or meaning. The Psalms give voice to our internal disorientation and point us toward practices that lead to groundedness and joy.

Loneliness isn't a modern problem; it's a human one. Even in our hyperconnected world, people feel unseen, unknown, and isolated. The Psalms name this ache and point us toward friendship, belonging, and spiritual community.
Here's what we're reading, recommending, and revisiting this week.Catherine's library find is a couple of titles that take inspiration from literary classics: Texts from Jane Eyre: And Other Conversations with Your Favorite Literary Characters by Daniel M. Lavery (from 2014) and Ladies in Waiting: Jane Austen's Unsung Characters, a recently published anthology of nine tales. Mentioned: The Mr. Darcy and Miss Tilney mystery series. Terri's random recommendation is Mystic Monk Coffee. Her shipment finally arrived, after taking a detour from New Jersey to New Hampshire and back again, and she's pleased with the flavors. (But also, someone stop her before she orders more coffee.)In the archives, we checked in on an episode from 2017 on making kids' issues our own. Texans have plenty of issues right now, but one thing seems to be at the root of it all: arrogance.
Reuben Williams unpacks the account of the woman with the issue of blood. We learn that our issues are not an issue for Jesus; rather, Jesus is an issue for our issues. He has the power to heal, to liberate, and to restore us to who we were always made to be - children of God.
