In this episode, Mike and I had the fortunate experience to sit down with a Ukrainian friend to discuss the happenings on the other side of the world. Andriy is one of the smartest, most humble people I've had the pleasure of knowing in my life, and I can't begin to say how much I appreciated him willing to sit with the two of us and share his opinions on what's happening in Ukraine.  While Ukraine is battling Russia better than most believed they would, they can use all the help they can get. We started off talking about how much better music was in the 90s, and that slowly turned into a discussion around the idea to abolish the two-party system in the United States.

For maybe the first time ever Mike and Jeff see somewhat eye-to-eye on the US Government (at least it sounds like they do?), and Kanye West releases a coat the Staypuft Marshmallow Man wouldn't wear (he's officially trolling American consumers).

Officer Derek Chauvin is convicted on all charges brought against him for the murder of George Floyd and will await sentencing which is scheduled for June. The question is, while it was expected he'd be convicted of something, was it expected he'd be convicted of everything.

Mike just got his first shot. Jeff is still trying to figure out if he's going to do it. One thing's for sure, we just can't get away from COVID folks. One way or another, it's always there, lurking around every corner. 

A plague of shootings has swept the United States yet again leaving the gun control debate in its wake, instead of condolences and compassion for the victims and their families.
