AP correspondent Julie Walker reports the government proposes easing some restrictions on drones traveling long distances.

Catherine Austin Fitts, former assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George H.W. Bush, recently commented on how the US Government is responsible for $21-Trillion in “unauthorized spending” between 1998 and 2015 alone. This was documented by Mark Skidmore of Michigan State University in 2017. Catherine believes much of it went into “underground base and city infrastructure and transportation systems” that have already been built. A Washington Post article in 2010 documented the Hidden World of a massively complex national security and intelligence network infrastructure built across the country in the wake of 911. But that's only part of it, and only encompasses the decade between 2001 and 2010 - not to mention the $2.3-Trillion announced missing one day before 911 and the justification to build this infrastructure. It doesn't include the half a century of public and private construction projects for military command centers like NORAD at Cheyenne Mountain or VIP bunkers under Greenbrier Resort. Some of this is for military control, others for continuity of government, and still others for laboratories perhaps akin to the Hive, or simply for nuclear material storage. In fact NASA just found a decommissioned facility in Greenland that was home to Camp Century and Project Iceworm. All of this spending coupled with authorized military spending adds up to over half of the country's national debt. Many of these bunkers, command centers, facilities, etc., have price tags that in order to add up to the unauthorized trillions must be beyond vast, they must be numerous beyond what we can conceive. And these facilities are worldwide, likely under the ocean as much as they are buried into mountains. The wealthy are also building their own bunkers toady, some of which are luxury facilities. Then there are facilities built right under our feet and meant for flood preparations, like the G-Cans in Tokyo. There are also reports of odd booms and explosions hear around the world for several decades. There's a new position in the U.S. government: Federal chief artificial intelligence officer. Gregory Barbaccia has begun to refer to himself as the Federal CAIO, in addition to his current role as the federal government's chief information officer. A recent interview with CNBC referred to him this way and a federal official focused on AI confirmed to FedScoop that Barbaccia had used that title in a recent meeting. In a social media post last week, Barbaccia also used both titles. The new title comes amid the Trump administration's continued focus on federal adoption of artificial intelligence. It follows the White House AI Action Plan, which was released last week and endorsed “transformative use of AI [that] can help deliver the highly responsive government the American people expect and deserve.” Still, the AI Action Plan makes no mention of a new position of CAIO for the whole federal government. Neither does the executive order that established the council or subsequent Office of Management and Budget actions. There was no federal CAIO in the Biden administration, and it's not clear any formal action has been taken to establish the position. Federal agencies are increasingly turning to generative artificial intelligence to further their missions, according to a new watchdog report that found use cases of the emerging technology jumping by ninefold in a selection of nearly a dozen agencies last year. In a report published Tuesday, the Government Accountability Office said generative AI use cases across a group of 11 federal agencies increased from 32 to 282 cases from 2023 to 2024, per an analysis of those agencies' inventories. The GAO laid out several ways these agencies harnessed generative AI last year, stating the technology can “improve written communications, information access efficiency, and program status tracking.” Examples included the Department of Veterans Affairs using automation for medical imaging processing in veterans' diagnostic services, along with the Department of Health and Human Services' initiative to extract information from publications regarding the containment of the poliovirus. HHS reported the largest jump out of the 11 agencies, going from seven generative AI use cases in 2023 to 116 in 2024, according to the report. In Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy there are several iconic lines: “Crime cannot be tolerated. Most of these plans stem from curators, be them the mysterious Q, a variety of podcast bros, or mainstream media. Many are now turning to Chatbots in order to acquire new plans and prophecies to follow. A recent revelation uncovered how MAGA even has their own chatbots. With nearly every revolutionary movement being exposed as what amounts to a chatbot, the US Government is now asking the public to donate to pay down the national debt. This is peak clown. In this latest installment of Unidentified History, the guys catch up on some recent events, including the Wall Street Journal article that has captured the attention of everyone on both sides of the UFO/UAP debate. Did the US government really test an EMP on live nuclear weapons in 1967? Was a PSYOP run against high-ranking military personnel and civilians alike? Is there a worldwide entity really controlling everything? The guys discuss that, plus more startling allegations about the Tic Tac being Lockheed Martin technology — and it came from an unlikely source. In the second half of the show, the guys do a deep dive into one of the most controversial UFO sightings of all time. Just five weeks after the first atomic bomb test at Trinity, New Mexico, a UAP crashed about 18 miles away from the test site, with NHI beings aboard. Or at least that is the story that was told by two young boys who allegedly witnessed the incident. It is a case that has been studied, analyzed, scrutinized, critiqued, and, by most accounts, deemed to be a hoax. But is that the case? The guys take a look at everything about the Trinity case- the stories of the men involved, the contradictions to their stories, the involvement of Jacques Vallee, and other factors- to give you their final conclusion as to whether the Trinity UFO case is legit...or bull sh*t. If it is legit, it is the earliest known crash (and retrieval) of a UFO in the post-war era. And even if it is a hoax, there is a lot to be learned from the case, and from the Trinity atomic bomb test in general, to warrant some serious contemplation. A rare quadruple threat: writer, director, actor, producer, Welles found immense success on stage, in films, on television, and in radio. In fact, he took center stage in the United States on more than one occasion… and not always to a positive reaction, but always with pushing the creative envelope in mind. Welles managed to alienate the newspaper industry, the Hollywood studio system, and occasionally even the broadcasting networks, but he rarely had a door closed in his face. Welles was known to work himself to the bone, and party even harder. He had romances with some of the most famous and attractive women in the country, including Virginia Nicholson, Dolores del Rio, and Rita Hayworth. He was hailed as a genius, a charlatan, a magician, an incredible friend, an a***hole, a hard-driver, a steady worker, and a man who drank too much. Welles liked to joke that he began his career on top and spent the rest of his life working his way down. Such a strong-willed, creative person deserves an in-depth look. xAI, the artificial intelligence company led by Elon Musk, announced new efforts Monday to get its generative AI tool, Grok, into the hands of federal government officials. In a post to X, the company announced “Grok for Government,” which it described as a suite of products aimed at U.S. government customers. FedScoop reported on the General Services Administration's interest in Grok last week. xAI disclosed two new government partnerships: a new contract with the Defense Department, which we'll get to in a moment, and that the tool was available to purchase through GSA. “This allows every federal government department, agency, or office, to purchase xAI products,” the post added. “We're hiring mission driven engineers who want to join the cause.” The new products from xAI follow the introduction of government-specific AI intelligence platforms from companies like Anthropic and OpenAI. The announcement was made just days after xAI's formal apology for the chatbot's recent antisemitic outputs. Last Thursday, FedScoop reported that government coders at GSA were discussing, on GitHub, incorporating Grok into a testing sandbox associated with a yet-to-launch tool called AI.gov and GSAi, a GSA-created AI platform. Anthropic, Google and xAI will join OpenAI on the CDAO's nascent effort to partner with industry on pioneering artificial intelligence projects focused on national security applications. Under the individual contracts — each worth up to $200 million — the Pentagon will have access to some of the most advanced AI capabilities developed by the four companies, including large language models, agentic AI workflows, cloud-based infrastructure and more. Chief Digital and AI Officer Doug Matty said in a statement: “The adoption of AI is transforming the Department's ability to support our warfighters and maintain strategic advantage over our adversaries. Leveraging commercially available solutions into an integrated capabilities approach will accelerate the use of advanced AI as part of our Joint mission essential tasks in our warfighting domain as well as intelligence, business, and enterprise information systems.” OpenAI received the first contract for the effort June 17 and will create prototypes of agentic workflows for national security missions. According to CDAO, work with all four vendors will expand the Pentagon's experience with emerging AI capabilities, as well as give the companies better insights into how their technology can benefit the department.
