I sat down in my front yard, grabbed a beer and recorded. This time around, my podcast will not be scripted. I will come to you in a genuine state, speaking from my perspective, offering you my tips and strategies to living life a little better. I am a father of four amazing and crazy kids, who inspire me daily. I have been married to Stephanie for 12 years. We just moved to Hawaii to renew our life together, grow as a family, build our businesses and most importantly live the 'ALOHA' way. We will of course talk about fitness and performance, nutrition, mindset, and overall lifestyle improvement. Come join my crazy adventure! I appreciate you. Stay connected. Get in touch if I can answer any questions or support you in anyway. Peace.
Persistence: to continue in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. No matter the difficulty, no matter the tough obstacles, no matter the situation we are in, we must have the mindset to KEEP GOING. Whether we are going after a fitness goal, a professional goal or a financial goal, we must stay persistent as we pursue those goals. Some goals, those big ambitious goals, will take a tremendous amount of time and persistence. Do not let up. Do not give up. Stay on it. Once our feet hit the ground, we need to keep charging and fighting for those goals. We need this mindset each and every day to have that positive energy as we pursue those things we want. So let's stay persistent this week. I support you. I believe in you. Let's make it a great week. Keep fighting! Peace, Justin
How we want to live, the goals we want to achieve, and the people we want to inspire... these things are all directed by our attitude and mindset. Our mindset is our attitude. Our attitude dictates our entire life. We want to build our mindset to be our weapon. We can use this weapon to catapult ourselves into getting into great shape. We can use this weapon to overcome tough obstacles in life. We can use this weapon to hit personal bests. We can use this weapon to get a promotion at our jobs. We can use this weapon to push us through the last 10 minutes of a workout. When we pursue our fitness and life goals, it's crucial to work on conditioning our mindset so we can consistently go after our biggest goals and ambitions. This week, let's focus on creating a strong and confident mindset that supports our goals and endeavors. I got your back and support you. Let's have a great week. Peace, Justin
Sending everyone nothing but positive thoughts and vibes as we embark on a new week. Let's attack our goals with everything we have. Let's be kind to others. Let's focus on the good. Let's work on our fitness. Let's build strong relationships. Life is up to us. This week, let's keep being consistent and keep doing the necessary work needed to inch our way to our goals. You got this! And I support you. Here we go to a new week! Peace.
What happens when we are trying to pursue big goals and some tough life situation enters our life? How do we embrace these tough moments? In today's episode, I discuss a few things to think about when facing a tough life situation. It's important to keep a positive mindset when facing challenging moments in life. This will help us get up each day, put one foot in front of the other and do so with an optimistic attitude. I always say that our attitude is the one major things that we can control. So whatever is happening in your life right now, some things may be out of our control, but our mindset... our attitude... how we respond to the situation... that is in our control. Stay strong! There is a lot to be grateful for so stay focused on being aware of these things. Gratitude creates a calming feeling and gets us focused on the people and things we appreciate. A new week is here. Let's stay inspired to keep fighting for our goals. I support you and believe in you! Peace.
"Time is more valuable than money. You can always make more money but you can not make more time." Jim Rohn Time is a valued asset in one's life. Either we use our time wisely or we end up wasting our time. If we have goals that we are pursuing, we can not afford to waste much time. Every day does count. So taking advantage of the time we have and utilizing it more efficiently will benefit us tremendously. Time can be on our side and we can take full advantage of each day we are alive by becoming a better manager of our time. This is not about following some unrealistic or perfect schedule. This is about taking control of our time with just a little more intention and focus on creating the day to day schedule. I recommend sitting down at the beginning of the week to go over your schedule. Write in all of your appointments, your workouts, your social events, your kids' activities...basically everything that is important to you. Add it to your calendar. Once you do this, take a few moments to glance over each day to visualize how that day may go. This will give you a better grasp on the upcoming day. Let's eliminate the excuse of "I don't have time." Instead, let's just continue to become a better manager of time. Always strive to develop a better system to manage your time. This will lead to better production, more focus on the major things and better organization. Let's make it a great week! I support you! Peace.
Stop the blame. Stop the excuses. It's my responsibility. Me vs Me. Blaming others is useless and reactive thinking and gets us nowhere. Owning up and taking personal responsibility is proactive and can create the change we need, if we are willing to do the work. I recommend looking in the mirror and reciting this out loud: "I have manifested everything in my life that is happening at this moment, whether good or not so good, it's my responsibility. I will own up to my downfalls. I will own up to my weaknesses. I will not blame anyone else. This is my life. It is up to me to change." As we take on the new week, let's have a mindset to take full responsibility for the life we want to live. ME vs. ME
We need physical and mental energy as we embark on a new week. Let's face it, it can get downright exhausting as we fight for our goals. That is why it's so important to build what I like to call "life stamina". Life stamina is having daily energy to live life as strong as possible. If we are physically fit, we will have more endurance to do what's needed each day. I recommend a healthy dosage of exercise and activity everyday. This will help us build that "life stamina" that we need so we can keep charging after our goals and ambitions. We also need mental energy throughout the week. Meditation, a good book, a positive podcast, a positive person... Add these things into your life...DAILY! A happy and abundant life is completely in our hands. The work must be done to create this type of life. We just need consistent ACTION day in and day out to achieve great things. Let's have a great week! Peace.
Cultivating a positive mental attitude is imperative to living a happy and fulfilling life. Let's face it... going after our goals will be an arduous process. The time, patience and effort needed will be tremendous. That is why having a positive attitude is so important because it will keep you going after those goals. There are many things in life that we CAN NOT control. But the one major thing that we have complete control over... is our ATTITUDE. Let's focus on creating a positive mental attitude this week. I got your back and I support you. Thank you for listening and being in my network. Peace, Justin
I want you to know that YOUR GOALS ARE POSSIBLE! We must believe this message in order for our goals to become real. Once our goals become real, now we can chase them down. The only way we chase them down is by putting ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER. We wake up daily, we express our gratitude to the universe and then WE GO! There is not a quick fix to our goals. It's simply putting one foot in front of the other and stay consistent. If we are consistent, it will happen. Through the journey, there will be obstacles and tough circumstances that will try to change our direction... Stay resilient. Keep fighting. Stay the course.... It's a fresh new week. Let's live it to the fullest and see what we can do. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I got your back and support you! Peace, Justin
This week I challenge you to write down 3 things that inspire you. Write those 3 things down in your notebook. Then, add those 3 things constantly during the week. We need to keep our inspiration high if we plan to have a successful and productive week. That is why this is so important. Know what inspires you - Write it down - Implement into your life Remember, ACTION IS REQUIRED!! Let's have a great week! I got your back. Peace.
Commit to not quit... This is the mantra when striving for our goals. If we can make this mantra our personal philosophy, I truly believe many things become possible. Who is willing to get through the uncomfortable times? Who is willing to do the work when they do not feel like it? Who is willing to be patient, and stay steady over time? You see, this simple message matters... Because it may be the most important component to achieving massive goals... COMMIT TO NOT QUIT! It will be hard pursuing your goals. There will be tough days. There will be times when you want to quit... DON'T! Keep going! Stay committed to not quitting. This philosophy can take you to some remarkable accomplishments. Keep fighting baby! Let's make it a great week. Appreciate you all. Peace.
Self-awareness can help any individual grow and learn. Once we can learn to become more self-aware, we can then add tools or positive practices into our life that will shift our energy. Are you feeling discouraged? Go workout. Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Meditate/Breathe Are you needing a pep talk? Go find a good video on YouTube. Ed Mylett will do the trick. Are you in need of human connection? Call THAT person. It's not a matter of being motivated all the time or having some fake energetic feeling... positive energy and motivation take work. Daily... take time to pause, introspect and check in with yourself. Recognize and then go from there. Give yourself the dosage needed. Self-awareness is a very important skill to have. Let's use that tool this week! Have a blessed week my friends. Peace. Justin
Motivation is having the desire to achieve something. If I desire or want to achieve a specific goal, I must do the work necessary even on the days when I may not feel "motivated". Motivation is not some feeling that emerges magically. We have to work on it daily and implement daily practices that surges motivation into our minds and bodies. If you are every lacking motivation, think about this.... The biggest thing that should motivate you, IS THAT WE ARE GOING TO DIE! I know that is a tough pill to swallow sometimes but it's true. We only get one life, one opportunity to do all of this... and if that doesn't motivate you, then I am not sure what will. Living each day with a sense of urgency and with determination and enthusiasm to go after the things you want will help you stay motivated. Today matters. Live it to the fullest. Peace, Justin
LIVE LIFE to the FULLEST... What does this mean to you?! I think we all can have a unique perspective with this message. But here are a few things to think about to really LIVE LIFE to the FULLEST... 1) Chase audacious goals: go out and chase fitness, business, financial, relationship and your life goals. Push the threshold a bit. Challenge yourself. Go see what you can do! 2) Say yes to experiences: you never know until you experience; this is one of my life philosophies. Even if something scares you a bit or is uncomfortable, that's ok, go experience it anyways. Experiences are what make up life so allow yourself to be spontaneous and adventurous and go do! 3) Laugh daily: YES! Everyday LAUGH! This means we are living in the moments, seeing the good and appreciating our life. Get around people who will make you laugh out loud. 4) EVERY DAY matters: Live TODAY as if it could be your last day on Earth. Live with urgency. Do your goals. Experience unique adventures. Cherish your relationships. Today is here. Stay present. Let's make it a great week. I got your back. Peace, Justin
How many Monday's do you have left?! This is a thought provoking question.... Time goes fast and that is why we must live with a sense of urgency. We must take advantage of today. We must use our time wisely. Let's not waste time doing mundane activities. We must work our asses off! Plain and simple.... ACTION is REQUIRED. Make 10 extra calls this week. Call a friend that you haven't talked to in awhile. Get in an extra 15 minutes of cardio. Lay in bed at night a little longer with your children. The week will go by fast. Let's attack it with everything we have. I support you and got your back. Peace.
Nothing happens magically. You don't get fit overnight. You don't build the business overnight. You don't build wealth overnight. It's the consistency of completing tasks and making smart decisions that lead to success. That is why it is SO IMPORTANT to keep rolling each week. The journey is so much about knocking out all the little things that are needed to achieve those big goals. Then, it's just about being consistent. Stay determined. I got your back and support you. Let's attack the week. Peace.
We are back and back with a vengeance. Let me tell you, the last few weeks have been BUSY. Life busy, family busy, business busy, training busy... And we are still rolling and NOT STOPPING! GET UP AND GO! This is my mantra. Day in, and day out. Be consistent. This is what I encourage. This is what I try to do. Life is up to me. My goals are up to me. My relationships are up to me. My fitness is up to me. ACTION IS REQUIRED! So, don't think about it too much... GET UP AND GO! Let's make it a great week. Peace, Justin
"It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." Change is part of the recipe to success. If we get stagnate, and are not open to changing, we can quickly move a wrong direction. We must continue to grow and evolve as an individual. Especially if we are expecting results, we should be open minded to a new way of doing things. Maybe it's a small tweak to your fitness program. Those small tweaks will keep the body in constant movement and progression. Maybe it's a small tweak to your business. A small change can have big results. Maybe it's a new habit that you are trying to instill. At first it can be uncomfortable and hard to do. But with consistency and determination, eventually you will cement that new habit into your daily routine and it can do wonders to your life. Moral of the story, change is inevitable. We are always in a constant state of movement and evolution. The direction of that movement is up to our habits and mindsets that we create. Let's make it a great week and keep fighting for our goals! I got your back. Please get in touch if I can serve you in anyway. Peace.
We had a game changing day at the inaugural Mindset Experience. I am overflowing with positive emotions and still running on the adrenaline that was created from the day. We laughed. We cried. We learned. We connected. We grew. Thank you to everyone who was involved in our event. I am so grateful and blessed. If you have a goal, make sure to have extreme persistence and perseverance. Our ability to keep pushing and striving for those things we desire is so critical! Let's go have ourselves a great week! Peace
Here is a "pep talk" to get the week started. There is so much possible out there and the people who are willing to put in the work, day in and day out, those are the individuals that will achieve greatness. I want you really believing in yourself and the goals you have set. Without personal belief, not much will happen. Achieving your goals is no easy task. There will be obstacles, tough days and negative people that will get in the way. KEEP GOING! Stay persistent. Your goals are waiting to be achieved. Let's go make them happen! Have a blessed week. ------------- The Mindset Experience is this Saturday. We will dive deep into the subjects of personal development, mindset conditioning, interpersonal communication, financial health and so much more! You will also be in a network of positive hustlers who are going after their goals just like you. Sign up at www.jlevision.com/mindset. Use code: REFERRAL Hope to see you there! Peace Justin
Another Momentum Monday is here! This is the first full week of 2019. Let's keep the momentum going this week. A word I have been focused on is "INTENTIONAL". INTENTIONAL: in a way that is directly perceptible to and under the control of the person concerned. This week let's be intentional with our relationships, our fitness, our nutrition, with our jobs. Let's have intentional conversations, be intentional in the gym, and have intention with our nutritional habits. This is very important characteristic to improve upon... Our INTENTION. ------------------------- The Mindset Experience is on 1/19/19, less than 2 weeks away! I want you there! You can sign up at www.jlevision.com/mindset. Use this special discount code: REFERRAL. Let's have a great week! Keep Peace! Justin Levine
Instead of New Year resolutions... Think New Year habits. In order for us to achieve our goals in 2019, it will be the consistent habits and rituals that are built that will move us to achievement. Starting slow and making steady progress adds up to big change over the long haul. Stay away from the "quick fix" mindset. It will take a tremendous amount of consistent work and determination over the next 365 days for your goals to be accomplished. Stay FOCUSED. Get through the chaos that life brings. Stay FOCUSED! Stay in the present moment. And big things will happen! Happy New Year everyone! Peace, Justin.
The end of the year is upon us. In fact, we have 336 hours left of 2018! What do you need to do in the final 2 weeks of the year? Maybe it's been a long and arduous year and you need to rest and recover, take a few days off and allow yourself to reset mentally and physically. Rest and time off is just as important as the work so if you feel you need it, make it happen! Maybe you need to start working on a goal. Might as well get started ASAP. Don't wait till the New Year. Get going on the action. The sooner we start working towards a goal, the sooner we get the results. Wherever you are at, stay present in the moment. These last 2 weeks are guaranteed to go by very fast. Appreciate each day. Value your relationships. Do something for someone else. Give back. Life is happening in this moment so it's important to cherish the time and be grateful for all that we have. Have a blessed week. Peace. Justin
Today we take time to breathe and come into the present moment. There are so many benefits of breath work... increase oxygen supply to the body, increase awareness and concentration, reduces anxiety, improves your mood, can help with better quality sleep and can increase athletic performance. Take a few minutes daily to reset and reclaim your clarity. It will do wonders! Have a blessed week everyone. Peace
I have a deep and raw conversation with my good friend Nolen Burchett. Nolen has been out of prison for just a little over 6 months. He was addicted to opiods and binge drinking. He lost everything, including himself. On January 5th, 2016, in prison, he decided to change his life and start figuring things out. He began a lifestyle of fitness, eating healthier and improving his mindset. He hasn't looked back. Nolen's story is as real as it gets. I am inspired by his journey to come back from rock bottom to now living each day to the fullest. Enjoy the conversation. I appreciate you listening. Peace.
My friends... Hear me out... Today is not just some day. Today is opportunity. It's important to take advantage of TODAY. It will only happen once. Once it is over, we will never get the day back. So live it to the FULLEST. Go hard! See what you can do. Pursue your goals. Be grateful for the things you have. Stay determined. And don't forget to spread optimism to others. Have a great week! Peace, Justin
Today is a big day! We start the final week of November. 35 days left of 2018. Let's create the mindset to FINISH STRONG! If you have lost a bit of motivation to get to the gym and/or eat healthy foods, all it takes is going back to the basics. Set small and realistic goals. "I will eat a big salad today." "I will make it to the gym 4 times this week." "I will drink 65 oz. of water today." These small goals will get the ball rolling and help you create momentum. Once momentum is created, then we just need consistency. Let's start these last 35 days of the year with a bang! Start with a workout. Start with a healthy meal. Start with a positive thought. Just start! Here's to FINISHING STRONG! Peace.
It is Thanksgiving week. This is one of my favorite holidays as we get to spend time with family and friends, eat good food and watch football. What can be better?! In today's episode, I supply a few strategies to think about in regards to keeping a healthy mindset through the Holidays. Most importantly though, enjoy your time with your family and friends and appreciate the things in your life. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Thank you for listening. Peace.
The Feat 2 the Beach 200 mile relay race was an unforgettable adventure. 10 guys, 1 van, 200 miles to run, each guy running between 15-36 miles, running through the night, running in the cold, coming together, pushing our limits, succeeding. These types of soul checking experiences are what I live for. Physically and mentally we were pushed. We kept optimism as our main philosophy. We put one foot in front of the other. We were there for one another. I encourage you to find something that takes you to your limits. Go see what you can do. Commit. And go fight for your goals! They matter!! You matter!! Thank you for listening. I appreciate you more than you know. Peace.
I am a fan of setting big, audacious goals. This creates motivation. Motivation gets you up each day ready to work towards those goals. Action is required when going after those big goals, so it's important to get started as soon as possible. The firs step is to set the goal. The second step is to act on it right now. Do not wait! In order for you to achieve those big goals, taking one step at a time should be the philosophy. Starting slow and making steady progress adds up to big change over the long haul. Try your best not to overwhelm yourself by revamping your entire life. Focus on making 1-2 small changes that will help you move the dial. Let's keep that motivation this week. I got your back! Peace.
What is up everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I first want to say THANK YOU for listening to my podcast. I also want to say thank you for all the positive messages and feedback I have received from this show. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Please, if you can take a few minutes to write a short review of the show, that would really improve the relativity of the podcast. On today's episode, I dive into the topics of overtraining in your fitness regimen, parenting, meditation and breath work and so much more . Thank you so much for listening. I am extremely grateful! Have a blessed rest of your day. Peace out.
If it were easy... ➖➖➖➖➖➖ Do you know the cliche phrase, “if it were easy everyone would do it?” I don’t like this phrase. LIKE NO SHIT! Of course, if it were easy... but going after our goals is not easy. In fact some goals can be outright hard as shit! ➖➖➖➖➖➖ Unfortunately, not everyone commits to the long game. Many people give up on their goals after their first try. “The program didn’t work.” or “I’m not seeing the results.” There’s lots of excuses. Most people just give up too soon. ➖➖➖➖➖➖ True results, whether that be in fitness, business, or any life goals, we must dedicate ourselves to the process. Because let’s face it, the process is where all the magic happens. ➖➖➖➖➖➖ If I can encourage one thing, do not quit on your goals. Work through the obstacles.... the days you feel bruised and beat up.... get through those days. You’ll get stronger. ➖➖➖➖➖➖ Just Keep Striving. Peace.
Yesterday I ran the Ventura Marathon. My goal to run sub 3 hours came up just a bit short as I ran 3 hours 2 minutes. As I was a bit disappointed not to hit my goal, I found positive movement forward as I will continue to chase down that sub 3 hour mark. I am the first one to tell you that going after your goals is not an easy journey. When you put yourself out there, and set ambitious goals, there will be ups and downs through the process. But that is what makes the person. The journey.... The journey of fighting for your goals, The journey of persistence, The journey of getting back up... Though I didn't hit my exact goal, my mindset is more motivated and determined than ever. I will not let up. YOU SHOULD NOT LET UP! Let's continue to persist towards our goals! Have a great week and stay inspired! Peace, Justin
It's marathon week for me baby! Can you feel the energy?! I am running the Ventura Marathon on Sunday and I am ready to go! Racing for me is the icing on the cake. As I enjoy racing and putting my fitness on the line, the journey of training the past few months is what makes the person. I always recommend people to set fitness and performance goals. The main reason... it will improve upon your quality of life. Each day matters and if you are in a little better shape and take care of yourself physically, life will be that much better! Let's have a great week. I will let you know how the marathon goes next week. Until then, keep hustling after your goals and living life to the fullest! Peace.
Inspiration is the act of staying mentally stimulated as we go after our goals and aspirations. It's pretty important to stay inspired if you have goals and want to achieve big things. What do you do daily, weekly, monthly... to stay inspired? This week's Momentum Monday will give you a few tips to help you stay inspired as you pursue your goals. Just remember, a daily dosage of inspiration is key to keeping you mentally stimulated and motivated, so find what works for you and be consistent. Let's make it a great week! Peace.
It's crazy how fast time goes. Where did September go?! Well.... September is behind us and October is staring at us in the face. Time will go fast.... That is why I encourage you to chase your goals with a vengeance. And speaking of goals... I want you to Set AMBITIOUS GOALS. Do not hold back! See what you can do! Challenge yourself! Once you set your goal, then START! The big goals do not get accomplished without daily action. Once you get going, be consistent. Daily, weekly and monthly. Play the long game. If you are consistent over a long period of time, that is when BIG GOALS will get achieved. Let's attack this new week and new month with everything we have. Let's make it a great week! I got your back. Peace.
An inspiring story of perseverance and resiliency... Tiger Woods is back! What can I say, I am a fan and I am truly inspired how Tiger Woods battled back to win his 80th golf tournament in his career. He has come back from four serious back surgeries, a torn Achilles tendon, a ruptured ACL, a stress fracture in his tibia and more! He hasn't won a golf tournament in over 1800 days. He had lost hope. He thought he would never play competitively again. But he battled back and put together a phenomenal comeback. For Tiger to be holding a championship trophy again, it's truly a remarkable story that can teach us all to fight for our goals. This week, let's be inspired by what Tiger did. Let's fight for our goals. Let's eliminate excuses. Let's see what we can do! Have a great week everyone. Peace.
"Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax." This is a very important component to getting results and striving after your goals. As hard work and grinding are a part of the process to achieving your goals, taking time to reset and recover are also just as important. Take a few minutes, one or two times a day to relax and reset. Close your eyes... Take a few deep breaths. Relax your muscles. Release any tension in your body. Take a few more deep breaths. This practice can give you energy and release a bit of stress and tension you may be holding onto. It's so important and something I highly recommend to high achievers. Let's make it a great week! Peace. Justin
Don't hold back on being 100% authentic you. The world needs YOU! Go do your goals. Go get in great shape. Go live your life on your terms. You will have people that will think you are crazy going after your goals and dreams. Do your best not to worry about what other people think. You need to ignore the naysayers. It's your life! No one else's. Go live it the way you want to. Let's make it a great week. Peace
120 days left of 2018! Can you believe that?! This year has been flying by and the last 4 months of the year will be no different. That is why it is so important to live everyday to the fullest. We do not get the day back so might as well see what you can do. Let's step up our nutrition, our fitness, our business, our relationships... 120 days will go by fast so let's create momentum to finish the year on a high note! Let's go! Peace.
Self belief is a super power that will help you achieve your goals. If you learn to deeply believe in yourself, your goals become tangible and possible. This week, be self aware of your thoughts, your mindset and your belief in yourself. How do you see yourself? Are you following through on what you said you would do? Are you working on YOU everyday? Let's focus on building confidence this week. Do what's needed. Life is in your hands! Peace
We have so much going on in life... Family Business Goals Relationships Fitness... It can get overwhelming. It can get stressful. It can get tough to deal with. But we must not fall in the rabbit hole of negative thinking. Your LIFE matters! YOU MATTER! Your goals matter. Though it does get difficult as we pursue our life's purpose, we must not lose sight of all the good that is around us. Take a deep breath.... in fact, take 10. In through the nose... Out through the mouth... Be in this moment. Be grateful. We have so much to appreciate. The hardships remind us that we are strong and resilient. Just keep fighting for LIFE! Peace

We put so much focus on setting and achieving our goals and yes that is a good thing, but the magic lies in the process of going after those goals. This week, let's focus on making our attitude optimistic, resilient and grateful. I appreciate you for listening! Here's to a great week ahead. Peace
