Nick Hind is an exciting speedster from the Essendon Football Club. After injury impacted his ability to be selected in his draft year, Nick continued his plumbing apprenticeship whilst pursuing his AFL dream through stints with country football teams and later the Essendon VFL side. Nick was selected by St Kilda in the 2018 draft as a mature aged recruit before being traded to Essendon in 2020 where he has continued to impress with his blistering speed and all round tenacity.
Dr Izzy Smith is an Australian-based Endocrinology Doctor with a passion for sharing health advice that is easy to digest, promoting evidenced-based advice on exercise, nutrition and medicine whilst busting silly health myths by calling out some of the dangerous fads in the wellness and weight loss industry. Izzy is a passionate advocate for mental health which includes her role as an ambassador and keynote speaker for the Movember and Puka Up organisations. She is a strong advocate for the physical and mental health benefits of exercise and is also the co-host of the mental health podcast ‘Behind the Uniform' and contributes to various health blogs, radio stations and more. Best of all, she is super-generous with her time and she joined us on the podcast to talk about managing our mental health.
