In this episode of Trade Legends, we sit down with Andrew, a seasoned HVAC professional from Australia, to explore his journey through four decades in the trade. He shares how he fell into the industry almost by accident, what kept him passionate over the years, and how the HVAC landscape has changed both in Australia and globally. Andrew offers invaluable advice for young people considering a trade career, emphasising the importance of curiosity, hands-on experience, and finding work that genuinely sparks your interest. His perspective highlights how vocational paths can lead not just to stable employment, but to a deeply fulfilling life and career. The episode also delves into Andrew's accidental leap into product innovation. What started as a simple idea to make installations cleaner and faster grew into a bracket system that's now gaining international attention. He explains the problem it solved, the process of testing and refining it within his own team, and how the demand from contractors and consultants led to its eventual commercialisation. With backing from Aspen Pumps and strong interest from the UK and US markets, Andrew reflects on the journey so far, the potential global impact of the product, and what the future may hold for both his business and the HVAC trade as a whole.

On todays Zero Limits Podcast I chat with “TAZ” civilian chippy turned Ukraine Foreign Fighter. Growing up in a small Aussie country town and after finishing high school Taz like most moved into the carpenter role aka chippy finishing his apprenticeship and during this time he also wanted to join the defence however was denied. After the war in Ukraine kicked off Taz went to the Ukraine to assist in rebuilding towns using his trade however after spending time in country he felt the need to assist further. Taz joined the International legion with no prior military experience and spent a couple of months in training learning the basics of being a soldier. Once completion of training he joined a team and conducted recon operations within a small unit. 2 months ago Taz and another soldier Morts were on a task where they encountered 10-12 Russian soldiers initially Morts was shot twice in the leg and Taz was shot 3 times. They had to do a fighting withdrawal with Taz dragging Morts roughly 500m with morts fighting from the ground after applying a TQ and at one point accepting that they were out numbered, out gunned and likely were going to get killed Morts started to destroy sensitive equipment. www.3zeroscoffee.com.auInstargram @3zeroscoffee Discount Code 3ZLimits Website - www.zerolimitspodcast.comInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/zero.limits.podcast/?hl=enHost - Matty Morris www.instagram.com/matty.m.morrisSponsorsGatorz Australia - www.gatorzaustralia.com15% Discount Code - ZERO15(former/current military & first responders 20% discount to order please email orders@gatorzaustralia.com.auGetSome Jocko Fuel - www.getsome.com.au10 % Discount Code - ZEROLIMITS

In this episode of The Smart Property Investment Show, Phil Tarrant sits down with Michael and Nicole Kowalczyk from the Tailored Property Group to discuss how determination, education, and strategy can lead to a successful portfolio. Starting from modest beginnings, Michael, a tradie, and Nicole, a nurse, began investing in property in their early 20s. By 2017, the couple struggled and found themselves financially stuck with negative gearing of $40,000 while Nicole was pregnant, adding pressure to their situation. After realising their buyer's agent wasn't meeting their needs, they took control, educated themselves, and transformed their portfolio within two years, emphasising that trust and referrals were the driving forces behind their business growth. This belief shaped the foundation of their company, Tailored Property Group, which focuses on personalised, strategy-driven advice. Unlike typical data-heavy agencies, they prioritise actionable strategies aligned with client budgets. Their approach has paid off, with their clients achieving an average capital growth of 28.6 per cent in 2024, underscoring the importance of grit, education, and a clear purpose in property investing. They advise investors to set clear goals, form a solid team, and embrace calculated risks, highlighting that property is not just a financial tool but also a means to achieve life goals.
