On this episode we are joined again by Jayce! We play a board game called “We're Really Not Strangers”. It prompts us to talk about favorite childhood TV shows, our driving styles, favorite karaoke songs and much, much more. Welcome to season four of Mimosas With My Besties! We open season four with Erin teaching Shavaun how they go about ending conversations they want out of. This leads into a discussion about compassionate communication and establishing boundaries. Dani then joins the conversation, and we have a quick chat about pet parenting. We then talk about words people dislike, compliments we personally prefer, and the overall impact of words. We end our first podcast of season four, sharing about college memories and our favorite fall activities. We are so happy to be back for a fourth season and cannot wait to celebrate our one-year anniversary this November.

We conclude our third season with a chat about (cue the music) summer, summer, summertime! In true Besties fashion we talk about food, more specifically summertime treats, followed by our opinions on hot temperatures (you'll have to listen to get all the details, and sound effects). We share some of our personal summertime memories and discover that we have in common some favorite summertime movies! Even after years of friendship we still have opportunities to learn new things about each other! We end the podcast with a walk-through astrology corner and solidify our never-ending conversation about glamping as a permanent segment on the podcast. The newest addition to Erin's Best Friend crew joins us for this final Pride month episode. We are so happy to be joined by the incomparable Jayce! We start the episode off by sharing the interesting story behind how Jayce and Erin met, followed closely by our thoughts on social media and social anxiety. We are joined this episode by some special guests…two of Erin’s siblings, Meg and Tim! They talk family memories, go back and forth like siblings do and Shavaun gets the chance to dive deep into the minds of Erin’s siblings. Tim gives a glimpse of his “TED Talk” on the Matrix, Meg and Tim share some movie suggestions and Erin loses control of the entire podcast for a solid 15 minutes. Shavaun brings us back around with a chat on self-care and Erin spills the tea on her siblings in astrology corner. As per usual, we wrap up the podcast with a short discussion on glamping. Its season three podcast fam! We open season three rehashing the story of how Shavaun and Erin met, quickly followed by a harrowing story about the time Erin had to get rescued from the woods. Shavaun then tells the tale of a hiking trip her and Erin went on recently where they may or may not have gotten lost. We discuss the kindest thing anyone has ever done for us and share our thoughts on deepening friendships. Thankfully, Astrology corner is not forgotten and it rounds out the episode. With the start of season three in April 2021 there will be a change in the Besties joining the podcast. In this episode the trio is temporarily down to a duo and we find ourselves beginning the episode with reflections on dating in a pandemic and ending the episode reminiscing about our summer at the lake. How about we close out 2020 with a chat about adulting! What is an adult really? In this episode we discuss a complex topic with heart and humor. We start our chat with a mention of our preferred adult beverages, and then dissect our definitions of the word adult. We talk about how we handle communication and confrontation in professional settings and the importance of emotional intelligence in virtual communications. Make it a holiday episode but sprinkle in a bunch of random other topics. In this episode we discuss our holiday traditions, our holiday food preferences, and why you should not buy gifts for Amber. Erin and Amber also share their deep feelings on cheesy holiday films and as if we could not get through an episode without it, we also share more on the topic of road trips. To round out the episode we discuss finding love and our personal opinions on weddings and proposals.

In true best friend fashion we go on many tangents in this episode. We find ourselves starting out discussing our views on driving and parking, then move onto sharing our thoughts and feelings on what it means to be a friend and then Amber shares her feelings on squirrels (you will want to hear this one).
