A walk in the park some might say, superb win by Team France at the 68th Edition of the Motocross of Nations. Gautier Paulin, Dylan Ferrandis and Steven Frossard were outstanding and proved the selection was bang on the button when many doubted when first announced.
Kevin Strijbos, Gautier Paulin and Tony Cairoli all won their respective qualifying classes today here in Latvia. Listen in to the entire winners press conference from the MXoN in Kegums.
Great to hear the boys sounding confident and enthusiastic here in Latvia, Shaun Simpson, Tommy Searle, Dean Wilson and team manager Neil Prince are united in their goal of achieving success at this year's MXoN. The guys like the look of the track and its layout, the starts are really important and hopefully the gate pick tomorrow will go better than last year, 39th made it tough going with gate selection in Lommel, a top 10 pick would be perfect, fingers crossed it goes to plan.
Interesting words from Ryan Dungey, Jeremy Martin and Eli Tomac, this year the guys look less stressed and look a lot more relaxed than they have in previous years. Listen to their complete press conference from Latvia.
With only 4 days to go before the start of the 2014 Motocross of Nations in Latvia, we catch up with British MX1 champion Shaun Simpson as he travels through Germany on his way to the circuit in Kegums.

Shaun's season has gone from strength to strength - podium finish at the recent Lommel GP and now sits 5th in the world and now a 2x British champion. Shaun discusses his season so far, Brazil and Mexico and his options for 2015.
Sometimes a little bit of luck can go a long way, obviously its not luck especially in the world of motocross but Brian Hsu traveled to Lommel as the 125 points leader, the young German rider knew exactly what he needed to do and did just that with two very comfortable third place finishes. We spoke to Brian and he told us how his day went and what the future holds.
The final European 250 championship race took place in Lommel this past weekend and yet another British rider finished on the podium, Adam Sterry finished in third spot for the championship - the Wilvo Forkrent KTM rider was more than happy with the result as we caught up with him just after his final moto.
We managed to have a word with Steven Clarke just after his amazing European 250 championship win in Lommel this past weekend. Steven had to dig deep to walk away as champion of Europe in what was his toughest race of the year.
We catch with MX2 Maxxis British championship leader Matiss Karro after his win at Fat Cat Moto Parc last weekend. Matiss talks about his battle with Ben Watson and this years MXoN which is being held in his own country of Latvia.
